This company wrongfully permanently banned my Xbox account that I've spent thousands of dollars on and I can't even access my Xbox account. This ban was due to impersonation of a Microsoft employee when all I said to this gamer on Xbox through a message that was verbally harassing me and threatening me and my family in game chat was if they weren't going to stop then I'd contact a family member of mine that works for Microsoft. Then a day or two after that they reported me and I was permanently banned and couldn't get on my Xbox account ever since. I have even contacted employees and they weren't much help, I also asked for them to appeal my ban and the request was denied which is STUPID! I HIGHLY ADVISE PEOPLE NOT TO BUY AN XBOX FOR GAMING AND RATHER GET A PC TO PLAY GAMES ON!!!Review fromJM M

I can't believe that companies do not have phone customer support anymore. What has happened to this world?!?! I tried to cancel an account subscription that I haven't used in years, you need to go online, you speak to a rep then, get this, they want me to pay for what they are calling technical support!!!!! It's supposed to be customer service, really people!!!! Everyone needs to think twice before setting up subscriptions, because buyer beware, have a great time tring to cancel any subscription with any company now-a-days!!!!!!!!!Review fromOleg P

A month ago, Microsoft offered me a free monthly subscription to Microsoft office, so I needed excel spreadsheets, with the condition that I can unsubscribe from this service (subscription). Now I can not unsubscribe either online or through the contacts they offer. I think that Microsoft is fooling my brains and thereby commits fraud in order to receive money for a subscription that I do not need.Review fromLYNNELLEN P

I am disabled with a reading disability and thought I was buying Microsoft word for my computer. It wouldn't download and kept trying in-between hospital stays and surgeries. When I finally call them to explain my situation they said basically "too bad for you, you bought it we delivered what you bought". They would not allow me to switch the $85 program for what I thought I was buying. instead, they wanted me to try and sell it to someone else and pay yet another $85 to get the word I thought I was buying. Then he promptly hung up on me. Is there any help for this? I can't afford another $85 on my limited income. Lynnellen PReview fromMartina S

I received notice on my HP laptop to update to Windows 11. The update was not a quick process and now my laptop is not functional. It wouldn't start. I had to use my phone to search for solutions. I was able to have it boot up but now everything is so slow it's non-functional. Apps take minutes to open and I can't use then once they open. Everything freezes.Microsoft needs to be held accountable. I don't have a laptop all of a sudden. These aren't cheap. I shouldn't have to use my phone to search up computer tech fixes. I'm a regular consumer. And this update was encouraged by Microsoft. It doesn't seem like there's any consumer protection agency for issues like this. The government really needs to get involved.Review fromBRAD T

Microsoft , You ruined my expensive PC. After updating my machine to Windows 11 without my consent, it has been plagued with unexpected shut-offs, can't remember any login password for any of my websites. now my pin code to log in does not work, and the boot process takes longer than it did before. why can't you just leave well enough alone? you keep releasing product updates that are unstable and ruining good healthy PC's. My machine is a business computer, used **** hours a day, 7 days a week. I am a small business owner and these quirks and problems YOU have caused are costing me money everyday! Not sure how you guys get away with this year after year! I have been using your products for over 20 years. i can honestly tell you after Windows XP your product has gone severely downhill. I don't ask for updates. You ram them down your customers throats in the most devious ways! Your crappy **** star rating is **** too much, but you can't leave a review with zero stars. If I did the things to my customers that you are, I would live in court. shameful-Review fromMary R.

I had a completely functional computer and laptop (hand me downs) but experiencing no problems until I tried to sync them. After syncing, my laptop is in operational. All my networks have been deleted on it. I was able to access the system controls on the desktop, but it would not save any of my changes. Microsoft had me blocked from adding software and devices and when I attempted to change it, it was unsaveable. I tried to unsubscribe my device because I want my programs and documents on my hard drive not 365. My current situation is with Mail and outlook free and trial. I am at a point where your software options ****. I dont want to buy a new one in fear that I will counter same issues. Before syncing I was able to add a printer. Cant now my disc drive is blocked not broken but blocked by this company. Who does your programming and design because it is **** poor at this time? Your company is holding people hostage and I am quite tired of it!Review fromMark S

Microsoft recently offered Xbox game pass at one dollar a month for three months then it would **** at **** or ***** depending on what level of service you picked. I signed up for the dollar a month yesterday and helped my nephew sign up for the same service but with my credit card. As of today I have 3 charges on my bank account. One for **** and two for *****. I believe we may have made a mistake by upgrading but you could not play under the 1 dollar a month promotion. The main problem I have is why was I charged the **** and when I try to get ahold of Microsoft I am sent to a link that sends me in a circle. When I try to call Microsoft it's an automated system that ends up texting me a link to the same web page that sent me in circles to begin with. This is the kink of thing that causes me to waste hours trying to get it resolved and nothing happens. I am starting to understand why some people go nuts and take things into their own hands through violence.Review fromMatthew B

I made a report against someone one MICROSOFT Xbox Live for pretending to be the *** and calling people the **word in a children's video game. Nothing happened to the bigot, but I got a communication block for five days because of it. I notified the 24 hour text support that Microsoft offers in an attempt to settle the ordeal. I spent an half an hour waiting for a agent and it took another hour of wasting my time for them to tell me they were not able to assist due to the fact that it's not a support issue. That it's an enforcment issue and that I needed to go through enforcment.xbox.com to appeal the report. The next day I called and talked with three more people that proceed to tell me I am in the right and that my issue will be resolved. That It was a mistake and the enforcment team will make it right. In the appeal I had sent every detail about how I was blocked for reporting said person's unacceptable behaviour. The appeal I made was Declined after being ' under review ' for nine hours. The fact of the matter is Microsoft's employees and policies have defended people pretending to be the *** in a child's online video game. I even had taken a picture where the player admitted to calling people the **word and saying more hateful things. Microsoft didn't want to see the picture and they even discarded the conversation where the other player admitted guilt for racial hate. I tried every channel of customer support and even talked with 3 different people from the general support line. Every representative I spoke/texted was horrified about what had happened and assured me that this is not what MICROSOFT Xbox is about. That I will have the issue resolved as long as I appeal. Well I did appeal and It only proves that Microsoft is built in a way to protect extremists. That *** sound harsh, but if that weren't so then wouldn't there have been a different outcome for my ordeal? My bi-racial cousin won't even touch a Microsoft xbox controller anymore. *************************** cryin
