  Consistent with numerous other complaints against ******, in my case the company refuses to acknowledge cancellation of services even when done so using their required protocols. Cancellation is done via a proprietary on line application which generates an 'on-hold' cancellation pending an e mail response with a special code needed to achieve final cancellation. E mails and special codes never arrive. Only harassment, daily billing and threats of filing claims with the three credit bureaus arrive without cessation. In my case, I worked with ****** to try to bring the system on-line - this could never be achieved. Billing was supposed to commence when the system went on line...instead Cencom commenced billing the day of equipment sale. ****** has billed me and continues to bill me for monthly system monitoring which never began, has never been provided, and despite cancellation using their on-line system. Not once did Cencom observe that the system supposedly being monitored was in fact not on line nor did they contact me regarding what whould have been a massive security issue. The business model seems to be structured like online subscriptions, time shares or medical subscriptions from which the consumer can never extricate themselves. I cannot speak to the quality of Cencom monitoring services as the system never came on line. But using as a proxy their inabiliy to help me get it running and the fact that they were blind to an inactive system which they were supposedly being paid to monitor, one can only conclude a lack of competence, lack of duty of care, and negligence and ignorance of safety which can have serious and potentially deadly consequences for customers who believe this company is protecting them with fire alarm monitoring services. I will also be filing a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General.

  I have been harassed by this company over the past year. I cancelled 3 times and the 3rd time it finally cancelled. I have not had your alarm since January however I honored the payments up to June on my second notification to you about cancelling. They continued to charge me. I called and all I was told was fill out the form even when I was trying to explain I have they did not want to solve the situation. I then also received an unprofessional nasty email stating I havent cancelled and owe you money. The third time it went through and not even 24 hrs later I received an email from your lawyer. I called the lawyer who was obnoxious and stated pay or get a lawyer as if I was a criminal and as if I have not paid your company for years. Mind you I have been with you about 8 or 9 yrs. Then I was told I paid June which then brings July, August,September,October,November. 5 months at 48 dollars does not amount to 452 on top of this you charged me for a transmitter that I own. 952 dollars I paid to get you off my back that was gifted to you. I own my transmitter I was a month to month contract and no one will show me a signed contract. I now received a bill again after all of this for January. Unorganized, unprofessional, and in fact criminal. You should be out of business. This is also reported to the better business bureau.

  Terrible company. When to try to cancel your service they make you jump through hoops filling out multiple forms and requiring codes from the company. They make it impossible to cancel in the hope that you will keep paying. Avoid this company.

  SCAM. Their alarm monitors never worked. Prepaid 3 years. Wrote it off as a loss. 3 years later they start sending me bills and wont cancel the service THAT THEY NEVER PROVIDED. Awful, scam. AVOID!!!

  The five star reviews are given discounts of their service.RUN Cancel Now I tried for 1 year. Had 1 break in no notice no police were dispatched. I walked in on the thief who pulled a gun on me and tied me up. Called to cancel was switched to a voicemail I left my account and requested cancellation. I got a harassing call demanding $1700 or they will ruin my credit. Hired and attorney and reported to State Attorney.

  Run Fast, Run Far, Run Far Far Away. Didn't call when alarm activated on several occasions. Didn't notify me when they up graded equipment and mine wasn't working for several months. Impossible to cancel. Refurbish fees for equipment 30 days old and in pristine condition. Let contract run out. Called to cancel and was told I had to pay for 1 month service to cancel. Never got my refund, Emails and calls went unanswered. Promises were not kept. Contacted attorney generals in two states. They requested correspondence from them relative to my claims. The company did not respond to the requests. You have been warned. STAY AWAY!
