I went to the store on March 12, 2025 to get a new phone as mine was burned out. (which is an issue itself as every phone I have gotten from Metro has burned out.) I was told to bring my id as they can not send a message to the phone. I brought it and the cashier advised that it will take a few minutes. It took 45 minutes for them to set it up and 30 mins for them to transfer data I guess. I left the store believing I had gotten a new phone and a added line. My account was a grandfathered account. I had been with Metro PCS for 20 years so, I had a great discount. I had my line for $41 with unlimited everything and 10GB for data with the hot spot, a free line and $15 for each additional line I wanted to add on at any time with unlimited service for them as well. I had three lines which made it about $65 with insurance. I went to the app to pay my bill and the bill was $109. I thought they might have added on services I did not need so I chatted in. I was advised they could fix the issue no problem. I left the chat thinking the issue was resolved. A week later I could not use my phone. I had a friend ask if they could use the Hotspot and found they couldn't connect. I went to the app to review my account. I had a plan with 2GB for ************* and each phone was at $15. I don't know where they stole my grandfathered plan. In the store or on the chat but I called to have it corrected and they advised they could not give me my grandfathered plan back. I am ****** at the service I received. Upset that they lied to me an stole my plan from me. 20 years in the trash. Grandfathered plans beware. They are trying to get rid of our plans due to service constraints. If you have to go to the store to get another device, check your plan immediately before leaving the store and or if you call/ chat with customer care to make sure you still have your plan. Screen shot everything.Review fromAlex L

***************************************************************** PCS location. My phone stopped working out of the blue providing the message no SIM card and disrupting my cellular service which prevented me from receiving phone calls or text messages for almost 2 weeks.Customer service over the phone was unable to assist because I could not receive a verification text message code for my account. They advised me to go into a location with my photo ID for assistant. My first visit to the West 25th location, I was advised to make sure that spectrum mobile did not Port my phone number over since I did inquire about switching mobile service to spectrum. I never made the switch, nor did I provide my account number or transfer pin to spectrum. This ********************** location told me to contact spectrum to cancel any port out and then return to get my account working. I did what they directed, and when I returned I still am in disbelief over what happened. Yesterday, March 15th, at ********************* when I returned to advise I did what I was directed to, The gentleman working the desk told me he cannot see any port information and that that can take days to cancel. I tried to explain I never ported it out, and that my phone wasn't working because it was saying no sim card. This employee didn't even look up my account, ask for my name or phone number, or even look at my device. He sent me to a non-existent HQ Metro location in ******** ****. He told me they would assist but he recommended that I purchase a new phone from him, at the higher monthly rate and to pay an activation fee in order to remain a metro customer. This made no sense since my account is active and paid so I did go to ********************************** and learned there is no HQ. The employee there named ******* was the first Metro PCS representative in 2 weeks to not only listen to my issues, but look into my account and my phone and give me a straightforward answer to my issue and restored my cellular service.Review fromOssie B

I purchased a tablet online from MetroPCS on 02/25/2025. The company's website stated that the A9 tablet is free if you're a customer. Since I've been a customer for over 10 years, I made the purchase and selected the $15 plan, which initially went through. However, at checkout, the price was $18. I completed the purchase and received a confirmation email, but the amount was $313.54. I immediately called MetroPCS to cancel the order, and they informed me that the refund would be processed within 24 hours. The next day, I contacted them again because the refund had not been processed, and they told me I had to wait 48 hours. After trying again, I was told to wait for the tablet to arrive at my home and then call them, as they would refund $293 since the benefit of the free tablet required me to get the $20 plan, not the $15 one. This information was supposedly on their website, but they still allowed me to complete the purchase for $18, and only after receiving the confirmation email did I see they were charging me for the tablet. When the tablet arrived, I called them and was informed that the return policy was different and that I would need to send the tablet back to them. After ********************************************************************************************** a different answer, I contacted my bank and requested that the payment be canceled. I returned the tablet to them, and since I no longer had the product, I also didnt have any guarantee they would refund my money. The tablet has been received by MetroPCS, but they suspended my four phone lines (which were already paid for) because I canceled the payment through my bank for the tablet they have. They said that unless I pay the $313.54 for the tablet, they will not restore my phone lines. I am without a phone and cannot communicate with anyone since they suspended my line without prior notice. I feel deceived and harmed, as I rely on my phone to work and communicate.Review fromEsther J.

Proceed with caution online will rip you off they'll take your money get another phone # of yours to syc with and send you a phone that's tampered with, pin# and all so you can't use it.This was a moto 5 phone This is Metro Pcs online orders only for free phone & monthly service for $55.00 only if I purchase online & not in store. Unfortunately I was lied to, and I can't delete Metro moto 5 from my other phone because they synced it. I'm a disabled Senior Citizen, home bound so no way to go into there store. So everyone beware of Metro PCS Do not do any automated payment for monthly fees. I can't imagine what they would have. ******Review fromStacey D

Tmobile has a great product. I've been a long-time customer. However, I have recently purchased a new phone. I've had issues loading some of my apps. I've gone to the local T-Mobile store and have been told a couple times that they don't do that...******** with a SIM card, help with working with Android Auto and getting the Yahoo app to work. There were 3 ladies at the back of the store sitting there chatting and telling me sorry but they couldn't help me. **************** has really been lacking lately. Years ago, a woman helped my husband for hours and was great. This experience has been very disappointing.Review fromBrett G.

I had closed my account with T-Mobile on Saturday 2/15/25. I was told I did not owe anything to them. I just had to drop off my Tower. Which I did Saturday. On Sunday they took out $50.00 from my bank. I called T-Mobile Monday. They told me they were sorry this happened. They said since I closed my account I had to go to the store. I went there and the lady said I should have had the $50 taken out. I told her 2 people on T-Mobile's **************** said I didn't owe anything, and it shouldn't have happened. the lady spoke to the manager and again said nothing I can do for you. I went home very upset and called T-Mobile again. They again told me the store shouldn't have handled it that way. They said the store should have called them. **************** while I was there in the store.**************** on the phone resolved my issue. I spent over 2 hours Monday after work trying to resolve this. I didn't give up. I figured 2 people from **************** telling me the same thing on 2 different days couldn't be wrong.Review fromGuadalupe S

******** customer service. Transferred service to ******** from *******. Misled about coverage. No coverage in parts of my home. People are calling but calls are not being received. Very spotty/no service coverage on my road and driving to neighboring towns. Tried to resolve with local store and 611 spent hours on the phone, **** have hung up on us, promised to call back and didn't, a supervisor promised to complete a network analysis to determine dropped calls never received, a *** and a supervisor agreed that the coverage in our area was very poor and we should have been advised of this before completing the transfer. We received new iPhone 14a but getting a new phone with terrible coverage is useless. Not sure how ******** stays in business. It's a poorly run company. They lie and are extremely difficult to deal with. Stir clear of ********.
