Ive had a traeger for a few months. It has never worked correctly. They sent me a new temperature probe. Did not remedy the problem. Now they told me its working fine. It shows 450 on the temperature gage. It is not 450 or even close. I can put my hand on the grill grate. Now basically they wont do anything. And Im stuck with a 800 $ paperweight. Terrible customer service.

I bought a Traeger Tailgater recently. On July 4th (2nd time I used it), I made a salmon, set the temperature at 180; no matter what I did, it went up to 230 degrees. I called Chat...that was pitiful. I tried connecting with the CEO on LinkedIn, but he did not accept; I then sent a certified letter to Traeger's corporate office in **************, where I am. No response.Very disappointed as many others have had the same issue.

Have spent at least 15hrs on the phone trying to fix this grill with no fix. They will not offer a refund or a replacement grill. What terrible customer service after spending so much money on a grill and only being able to use it 4 times.

This is my reply to a follow up email from traeger my grill is still not working only been able to use it a few times, everytime there is a problem! Dont buy this piece of c*** This call did not solve the problem. The grill is still seeing auger issues! It won't ignite and is not functioning at all. I am requesting my money back from this lemon product which i have had nothing but one problem after another since i purchased it from true value last year. I have called true value to complain and they are going to escalate this to a higher level and perhaps this will convince them not to carry your products any longer. Your expensive pellets are made from sawdust that disintegrates over time and turns to dust . This presents a huge problem.I had several bags of brand new traeger pellets I stored under my carport for the last 3 months unopened off the ground and covered with a tarp under a carport and they all turned to moist powder. The moist powder that clogged the grill. I ended up spending/wasting $90 dollars worth of sawdust from ******!!! I will make this information available on all social media platforms I can think of and make a you tube video warning people about your products unless you do the right thing and refund my money. I don't want to give this any more chances. I'm fed up calling your lousy customer support every time I want to use this problematic grill. Today I was on the phone for almost 2 hours with several different guys, the last one named *****. When I should have been doing other things, Your grills are maintenance headaches! Your pellets are sawdust!Sincerely,JT

Purchased a Timberline 850 for $2k five months ago - paint peeling, rusting - after an hour with customer service, they won't do anything. Not good.

They don’t stand by their warranty. I always kept my grill in the garage and have only owned it for a year and a half (still under warranty).
The grill started peeling and bubbling. I was told they wouldn’t cover it because this only happens on the first couple grills if it’s a Traeger issue. Since it’s been over a year (still under warranty), this means you didn’t clean it well enough between grills. I keep it in the garage and use the disposable liners so it stays clean. I even vacuum it out with a shop vac. As you will see with these reviews, they will come up with a reason to not honor their warranty.

Continuing part malfunctions that require me to replace after purchasing; very poor record of dependability based on my experiences as well as conversations with several other "former" Traeger grill owners!

They do not stand by their warranty Ive owned trigger pro 22 for a year and a half barrel has more paint missing, then has left on it Traeger says this is cosmetic and will not warranty. My next purchase will be a pit boss with more features for less money *************************** *******

I own a pro series 575 and it will be my last Traeger product. We moved from ***** (where we purchased it) to ****** ******. The only dealer on the island is a hardware store that wont order us a part. The chimney was bent and broken when our things were delivered. I called. I begged. The grill is under warranty. I was willing to pay every time in shipping for a new chimney. Nope, you dont ship to ******. But you sell your grills here. Theres nothing you can do for me. I need to convince them to order the part. Thats what I was told. I could order the part, have it shipped to family in ******* and they can ship it to me, but why make them pay for Traeger laziness. I will never, ever support Traegers business. And I will make **** sure no one I know purchases a Traeger. My grill will be on its way to the dump, less than a year old. And $1000 down the drain. Thanks Traeger!
