      Not a good company to do business with. Believe it or not Ive had them 10 years. I just cancelled with them. I finally paid attention to what I was (not) getting 10 days ago. They sent a technician out to upgrade my card due to the 3g going away. Then after the technician left I realized the monitoring wasnt happening. phone test failed. Calls to their technical support were excruciating and unproductive for me. Today they offered me a new panel if I signed for another year of service. How about fixing what Ive been paying for?! A lousy excuse for a company.

      The sales rep *********************** guaranteed me a free 30 day trial on equipment and services but when I asked to cancel literally 2-3 days after installation, he rudely told me good luck on trying to cancel which angered me and made me very suspicious. I only opted to cancel after I was and still am being charged for cameras that I NEVER had installed, I was charged $140 for camera installation and monthly monitoring @ $91, again I have NO cameras in my home from ALDER so this makes no sense whatsoever, I called customer service with sales rep *********************** also on the line and was even recorded saying I had no cameras installed and the monthly monitoring fee of $53-54 was the agreement with no cameras installed, customer service told myself and the sales rep *********************** it had to be approved by higher *** but the situation has NOT been resolved. I told ***** I would not pay for installation and a monthly fee of $91 for equipment I did not have, he assured me that I wouldn't have to. I have text messages between ***** and I where he is promising me a resolution, begging me not to cancel and confirming that his technician did not install cameras in my home. I asked ***** that the equipment be picked up or I could mail it in so I could cancel within my 30 days because I was not satisfied with the technician tackiness, (he left wires exposed and the attic door open ***tairs) and also paying for equipment I did not have installed. ***** became very defensive, unprofessional, and rude, he told me he was the only one could let me out of the free 30 day trial, and that the call center was in the Philipines and they read from a script and can't help me. He lied and told me he was emailing me the new agreement WITHOUT the camera install and $91 monitoring fee, I received an Alder New Hire signing agreement instead. I would like this situation resolved by canceling the account. I have emails, texts, where I'm asking to cancel and was told I could. PLEASE RESOLVE THIS, PLEASE!!!!
