Absolutely horrible company... Don't know why GM is transferring their cards to Marcus from Capital **** it's nothing short of frustrations since Marcus has taken it over!

Echoing what so many others have said. I had my GM Card since **** and never a problem. Now with the switch to Marcus by Goldman, I have been unable to access my account online since June 7. I've tried every possible solution. Have had the problem referred to Tech over and over. **** never call back and you can never talk to anyone to share what might be the problem. I can get into our account just briefly using either my number or my husbands number- but the dashboard quickly disappears and I get the page saying they are sorry but the website is having difficulties. I want to monitor our account so I can plan on making payments and keep track of what the interest is. I hate to cancel the card, because we have over $2000 credit toward a new GM Car. We have used this many times in the past in order to be able to make a better down payment. If the situation continues for another week- I will have no choice but to cancel. I feel sorry for the customer service reps. **** can't get anyone else to answer when they try to refer you to a supervisor.

I have a closing date of the 5th. Today is the 17th. 10 business days and I still have not received my billing statement. Called several times and no one seems to care. Last 2 billing cylces I never received a statement. Had to call and get a copy sent out. I should not have to call for my statements to pay what I charged. What kind of company takes over 10 business days from closing and you still do not have the statement. My due date is on the 2nd. I guess they are hoping I do not pay on time so they can charge interest. The company expanded to fast buy taking over the ** cards and they cannot handle the volume. They should never have been allowed to take over the cards without being able to handle the volume. I have to go on the computer and print out the statement then mail in the payment so that it gets to them on time. Bad system. will be looking into getting a different bank to do my $5000 worth of charges each month.

This company can not get their website straight and customers can not pay their bills. There are tons of unhappy customer complaints on their ******** page. Now there are late fees and more interest charges. I have tried Since Friday, June 10 to pay it online and can do everything on their site but pay. They had me set up to pay electronic and I never signed up for that. The customer service #'s and chats are very annoying. Their emails are always no-replies, making it very hard for help or make a payment even over the phone. Very poor customer service, telling everyone who has complained on the ******** page to do this, do that and etc and almost everyone has posted a screenshot of the error message.

Like one of the previous commenters (****** L), I too was enticed by a marketing promotion that caused me to liquidate other investments and deposit $10,000 into a low interest Marcus savings account and leave it there for 6mo. I fully believe I met the criteria as outlined in large print in the offer and believe I met the spirit of the promotion (to bring in 10K of new funds to Marcus). However, I too did not get the promotion because I apparently did not follow a small criteria in the fine print section and performed actions out-of-sequence. No warnings were given that I had inadvertently violated the offer criteria until after the promo term ended and I inquired where my offer payout was.Even though the bank likely doesn't see it this way, this really stinks of a large institution using fine print to weasel their way out of their obligations. Speaking to customer service in trying to get reconsideration ended with me being even more frustrated with Marcus by Goldman Sachs than prior to calling. One tick-tack incident wrecks all sorts of previous goodwill.

Awful awful awful. No longer charge anything on the card. Non existent customer service, no phone help, vanishing rewards points now, cant get any worse with this card. Never had a problem with Capitol One or the previous carrier. Not they deduct GM points every month. Bunch of rubbish.....

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I applied for a loan on their website. Thought I would give them a try. Boy was I wrong. Had difficulty downloading the necessary paperwork. So I called them the next day to help resolve, to which they were no help. So after hours of figuring it out on my own I finally got the paperwork through and Loan was approved and was waiting for them to finalize. They said it would be 1-2days and would contact me. After 4 days I called and talked to a loan specialist and they said they would put a note on account for a loan specialist to contact me in 1-2 days. A week went by with no response. So I called again. Same issues with the same response. This kept happening for almost a month. Finally I tried one more time and went through about 5 people to finally get an answer.. They said it was their fault that they let the loan expire after 25 days and that there was nothing they could do about it. Even though I never knew about the expiration date and the fact that I contacted them at least 5 times before it supposidly expired and they never once contacted me to finalize. They said I would have to reapply and could not guarantee my rate and they had no way of changing the system. The only thing they would offer is putting a request in to remove the Hard Inquiry on my credit report. I have excellent credit, So, ignoring my better judgement, I decided to apply again to get things moving and was denied. This company is the worst to deal with. I am going to my local bank where people there actually care about people and want my business.
