      Got the product from Electronic Express through Acima. Had it less than 45 days. Had a run around about returning a defective product. Was accused and defamed by a Acima manager and mistreated. Person with Acima at the store was on medical leave, so could not return product there. Second computer from them that was defective. Had to ship it to Asus. Received product back. Returned product in good faith. After all I have been through, we were refused a refund of almost $500. Nothing to show for it. I wouldn't rate 1 star!

      This company is a rip off bought 4 tires from *********** that used this lease company that I didnt understand was a lease company I thought it was a financial company and now we are going to end up paying more than the tires was worth the tires was 672 and now once we pay them off with will ******* who would pay that for lease tires I mean you should only have to pay some interest not no ******* dollars worth of fees and interest

      Spent hours on calls and got plainly put RIPPED OFF ..a payment was taken out on 3/31 and they all said fees and late payments and this ans that and now you are behind by 12 days but I am not they have payment..every agent had different story DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND

      If it was possible to give a 0 star rating I definitely would. TBH if you can avoid them, don't EVER use their service. You basically end up paying twice, sometimes 3 or 4 times the amount of the original product's worth. They create sneaky loopholes in their contracts where they can continually extract money from you for as long as possible, and they have no respect for your personal finances or your time. They will void agreements, and change terms without notifying you, and when you speak to customer service about it, they are not helpful at all in offering solutions. At most, their customer service literally exists just to collect information for debt collection. Don't be intimidated by them either, they know they have deceptive practices, so if you feel like your lease agreement is unfair or you are incurring charges you were not aware of, just know that is illegal, and action CAN and SHOULD be taken at that point. Im surprised they have an A+ rating when everybody seems to complain and hate how ASS-cima does business.

      To clarify for others reading: Acima reached out to me only after being confronted through formal channels. They still refused to take accountability for their illegal practices and continue to try and gaslight, much in line with their predatory tactics. This "communication attempt" is noted as another example of Acima's sleazy way of trying to cover their tracks. Acima, I WILL NOT BE CALLING YOU because I was very clear that any further communication that you do with me NEEDS TO BE IN WRITING. I offered you a resolution that you continually ignore. You have no leverage to negotiate with me at this time. As of now I am currently reviewing my legal options, and if Acima wishes to resolve this properly, I suggest a WRITTEN and TRANSPARENT resolution where Acima acknowledges ALL their wrong doings. I encourage anyone who is reading this to research Acima's shady practices carefully before engaging with them in any capacity.

      This company is beyond shady. I have my payments automated for a recliner and have never missed or had insufficient funds. They attempted to charge me a fee because their system said a payment was declined. I checked with my financial institution and there was no attempt made on the date in question to withdraw funds, and there was adequate funds available. In addition to that, I have the receipt for that payment dated two days later. When I called, their system would not put me through and said to call again later. Their chat agent stated that my account was current but then tried to say I missed a payment. There was three different amounts to pay it off today and the chat agent told me she couldnt help me with this issue, that I had to call, which again, they do not ever answer. I would highly recommend NEVER doing business with this company.

      I paid Acima in full for the product that I purchased, however they posted late payments on my credit report and stated that $432 was written off although the balance was paid. Very sneaky and unprofessional way to do business.

      I just need to return something. They put me on hold for 30 minutes and cut me off. When I called back, they wanted to put me back in the queue. They make the return process nearly impossible because they don't want you to return the items, so they can continue to charge you ridiculous amounts of interest. I wish I had looked up reviews before using them. I would've never used them. ******.

      PlEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WOTH THESE PEOPLE. I went to purchase a refrigerator from Supreme apploamce and they finance through this company. First off Supreme didn't tell me this was a LEASING company like a rental center or ******** I changed my mind on the refrigerator and canceled the lease without ever receiving the appliance. I have called ACIMA for TWO WEEKS now to cancel this lease as the lease terms states you can terminate at any time. NOW all of a sudden a supervisor has to be involved and they never received a cancel sale invoice from Supreme. Scams all around.

      Pretty bad experience. Had a tough time getting caught up on other bills and didn't have money for some payments. Made a catch up plan, get caught up then somehow magically missing some payments from January. I'm gonna go ahead and let you keep the money but if double charge me again I'm going to make it my mission to dispute it. And don't try to call them either for these things they will just say oh sorry, file a claim with your bank and then still do it. Pretty disgusting practice for overcharge items

      ******** customer service I have body couch from a company out in ******************** and acima was the finance I have been dealing with them now since last week. They scheduled a pick up for Friday for the love seat, they never came I called them Saturday because they made a new ticket for it to be picked up on Monday. Also I complained about it from the first day of when I called them. it is a very uncomfortable love seat I slide to the center. So they told me to take it to a store off **************** so I did drop off where they told me to. I explained to her that the love seat at the drop off place had the same love seat and it did not sink down like mine did. The gentleman at the facility told me that I see what you are saying it sinks down he said it's brand new you can tell that,but it's the couch defects. So I got a receipt that I dropped it off. I'm trying to return my money and trying to get my $175 cash from the company that I bought it from but they're telling me that I had to return it to them which acima told me to deliver it to somewhere else. Now I have the receipt where I dropped the furniture off I want my money back. They have hung up on me they don't want to resolve the issue I have even talk to manager ***** and she was yelling at me saying you told me it was in great shape, It is in great shape I told them about the love seat from day one what I was complaining about. They gave me they run around for a week now and I'm tired of it if the love seat doesn't work for you it's a no brainer return it and get your money back

      And no offense I have called that number the last time I was on hold for a half hour the time before that I was on hold for an hour, you took the couch back, but the run around was ridiculous.Douglasville furniture is horrible.The last time I've called there he's been rude to me, now they don't answer their phone and I know that your associates have called them when I am on hold and even sent them an email which I have a copy of the email your associate sent to them. They don't answer the phone. I have not still received my $175.00 from them.
