Smart Wave's electrican, ******* was at my house for 2 days during my solar system install and did a beautiful job. He is professional, knowledgeable. efficient, and customer focused. Great guy and easy to work with. On the 2nd ********************** was joined by another electrician, ******, who like *******, is a pro. I hope Smart ***************** appreciates how good these guys are.

We have had issues with this company since we signed in May 2023. We have asked for basics, such as receipts, warranty information, and why our panels are not working properly. They said it was taking time to provide because these are not normal requests. They invoice they provided was wrong. The salesperson told us the production of each panel at any time would be visible to us, however, 5 months in this is not the case. We had to file our TC-40E for our tax credit, even though we were promised that they would take care of it. Our loan provider was given the wrong amount so our balance with them is higher than our agreement. The panels installed were not what we ordered they were 400s instead of 410s. Our power bill is as high as it was a year ago and provided a $16 credit to our bill. This month we owe over $500 for power. They guaranteed the panels would produce what they told us but now that they aren't they are saying that they don't guarantee anything for 5 years. Their only concern is their request for us to remove our reviews. Our home is ideal for solar panels, all 30+ panels are south-facing and clear of anything that could shade them. All of our responses to our concerns are canned text emails. They are not personal, they don't address or acknowledge what our concerns are and they just keep avoiding the issue. They have emailed and called us requesting we remove our reviews and if we do, they will help us and call Rocky ********* If we don't, they will not help us. In our mind, this is part of good customer service and having enough pride in a product that you truly want your customers happy and satisfied. Since signing in May, we have not had a positive experience. They got paid by the loan provider before installation and wrote us off. We simply just want what we were promised by the salesperson. We haven't asked for anything more. If they don't want to provide a resolution then we want the panels removed and refunded.Smart Wave Solar

We are very sorry to hear that this hasn't been a great experience for *****. However, we feel that we have worked hard throughout this entire process to provide a good product and service. We feel that this review isn't an accurate representation of the situation. We have addressed *****'s concerns comprehensively and have been communicating directly with her to work through these issues. We have run a detailed production report showing that *****'s solar panels are producing electricity within the expected range. We also sent a crew out to check on her solar panels and they found no issues. Additionally, her power bills show that her home is using significantly more electricity than before, which is why she has a higher power bill. The reason her power bill only shows a $16 credit is because most of the electricity produced by solar panels goes directly into the home, so the power company never sees that electricity, and therefore they can't include that on the power bill. The power company only shows credits for electricity that the home can't use and therefore spill over onto the grid. Furthermore, we ensured she received all necessary warranty information both upon project completion and upon her request. It's important to note that the system type chosen by ***** does not support individual panel production tracking. However, we are equipped to identify and address any issues through total production analysis.Regarding her loan concern, we spoke directly with her financing company and confirmed that the loan amount aligns with her agreement. Notably, we are unable to find any request made by ***** for us to file her TC40e application on her behalf, or we certainly would have done that. Before installation, ***** agreed to the change to 400-watt panels, and an additional panel was provided at no cost to ensure her desired production levels were met. Our production guarantee outlines the amount of electricity that will be generated by the solar panels, and if production falls short, we will absolutely honor the terms of that guarantee during the first 5 years. We would never tell a customer that we aren't going to honor our obligations unless they remove a negative review. ***** has asked us to help with things outside the scope of our contractual obligations, and we did ask if she would be willing to remove the review if we helped her with those things. We truly have been striving to work with ***** to help her with her concerns, and we feel that this review is an unfair representation of the support we have been providing.Review fromNatalie B

Had solar panels installed almost a year ago. The experience was excellent. Installers were friendly and completed the work quickly and professionally. Our solar panels have been producing more electricity than expected, and the emergency power system we got gives us a lot of peace of mind. Would highly recommend.
