On Jan 17 2025 Meineke Store number 2316 in ******* ** transferred $275 to Citron Used Auto Parts. For 3 weeks following **** ****** ( owner ) would tell *** from Meineke that the wiring harness for my 2007 ******** Escalade ESV was on its way. On January 31 I made the decision to drive from ****** ** to ****** ** to pick up the part that Meineke had paid for and that **** ****** had sent cell phone pictures of to ***. Feb 4th I arrived at ****** Used Auto Parts and followed up with the payment from Meineke and both **** ****** and his wife told me the payment was never received. I then paid $297.69 in cash to ******. **** had stated that the part was put back into inventory and called an employee on the ******** to retrieve the part. The man came in and dropped a wiring harness on the floor of the office behind the counter. **** instructed me to open the gate and pick it up. I didn't compare the part behind the counter with the images that **** ****** had sent to my mechanic to confirm it was the same part, the part we were expecting and had been ordered by Meineke. We left and drove the 6 hours back to ******* in ******* to deliver the harness. When I opened the trash bag **** had given me to transport the part, my mechanic said this isn't the same one as the images he sent the same one we ordered. I immediately called and emailed **** with the images saying since they had to get it back out of inventory they mistakenly gave me the wrong one. **** claimed I am a liar and cheat substituting the one in the bag he sent with a defective and incorrect part I had purchased from another company. **** ****** has been paid by both me and Meineke for the wrong part and refuses to make it right. Below are pictures of the harness I should have picked up, the broken / incorrect harness he gave me and also the receipt from the payment from Meineke and the cash receipt from yesterday. Thank you for your help.
