  If you don't pay the full $600 (we paid $299) you don't get any help at all. You get access to the application, and written instructions on what to include in the package that you have to mail or fax. After you pay $299 - no more speaking to a person. Just a little email saying - Upgrade your package and we will help you. Very disappointed. Still not sure what we got for our $299.

  It had been a terrible year -- the worst in my estimation. My brother and I had been providing care to our 98-year-old Moms who is bedbound with dementia. With my brother disabled, I had to do a lot of the heavy-lifting, and then my brother died a day after New Years. I eventually decided to try an in-home care-provider, who promoted AidandAttendance.com to their clients. The approximately $600 for the account (and online "software") and assistance in obtaining our father's discharge papers was well worth it. My brother had been laboring over the 30 pages of VA forms just before he died, and hadn't started to collect the required documents. As much as the software resulted in pristine and perfect printouts ready for faxing or mail, the additional value came with the help AidandAttendance provided in e-mail exchanges. I had deferred calling VA about the status of our application for two months after submitting the application as guided by AidandAssistance. And I was beginning to explore creation of an account with VA so we could determine our application status online, but wasn't getting very far with it very fast. Then suddenly this morning at 6AM, I received a call from VA informing us that payment to Moms would begin in several days. AidandAttendance deserves kudos for their help and the service they provide. I also want to commend the employees of Veterans' Affairs, particularly the nice lady who brightened my day so early in the morning.

  I have to say the process was a bit longer than some of the reviews, submitted the form in July. However, in November we were successful in securing this benefit for my 99 year old mom, who was beside herself with the news. The money was well spent for all the help I received in getting through the process. The folks at Aid and Attendance were very attentive and helpful. If you or a love one qualifies for this benefit by all means make the effort, be patient and secure the benefit, it is well worth the effort in the end. Mike Hannon

  The process is definitely not easy task, but the software program made it much easier and calling the help line was a great help. They answered all my questions and gave me the all the help I needed to fill out the application for my dad. He also got approved quickly and started receiving the aid and attendance within 3 months of applying.

  Aid and Attendance is a fantastic service and they helped my mother gain approval for some very needed benefits. I doubt we would have ever tried this without their fantastic, easy to use web site. Anyone who has had to go through an approval process like this knows it is crucial to have everything in perfect order upon submission. Aid and Attendance provided us with excellent online forms, and once we were finished, went over the whole thing with us, item by item. I can't say enough about them.
