  I originally thought I would try doing this myself without any help or guidance. I soon came to the conclusion that I was probably not going to succeed by myself, despite having a background in filing lengthy financial reports.
  A competing organization wanted to charge almost the amount of one month's benefit and I thought that was pretty excessive.
  I first tried the A&A $299 version and realized that while the software was valuable and helped from the standpoint of being consistent with name, address and SS numbers, it was still going to be a DIY project for me. I felt that the additional $300 to get to the $599 package was going to be well worth it in the long run. They do have the option of the lower amount so that you can see the software and get to know just how extensive the whole process is.
  It was well worth it.
  Amber and the other support staff guided me through several iterations of questions and the proper forms. Ours involved a trust which had a couple of its own complexities. We just submitted the application a couple days ago, and so we are hopeful for an approval from the VA.
  I would highly recommend this company and its product.

  The process of completing the application went very well, owing to the invaluable guidance of Amber I*****. In fact, all the A&A staff I interacted with were always available whenever I had questions. The promptness which emails and phone calls were returned was truly impressive (in minutes or hours vs days). The online interface was easy to use and without it, I probably would not have attempted applying.
  This benefit, if successful, will be very helpful for the costs of my mother’s assistive living expenses. It’s been 2 months since i submitted the application, so I will update my review when I hear from the VA. Thank you again for your team’s guidance through this process.

  I elected for the $599 full service option and felt it was well worth the money given the complexity and number of forms required for this benefit. The support team reached out to me several times during the process to 'encourage' completion. There are ambiguities on every form and the support team always knew the answer.

  The Aid and Attendance staff were so helpful to myself and my Father. The software was very easy to use and the staff always quickly answered any questions I had whether by email or phone. They even helped me get the application to the VA and always sent me confirmation of their help. They walked me through the final part of the application and helped with the letter I needed to include. My Father and I are very grateful for their help, because without the software and their help I do not think I could have been successful in getting the benefit my Father needed so much.

  The software was well worth the expense. It enabled me to complete and submit my dad's application without the VA kicking the application back due to errors. When I met with the VA rep months later when they approved his application, the rep even complimented me on how well the application was filled out!
  
  I'm happy to say my dad's application was approved and after the VA's very long review process (it took them 9 months to review and approve), my dad has begun receiving his A&A monthly pension payments!

  It became necessary that my mother be put in assisted living and so we needed to get VA help for her ultrafast. One of their sales pitches is that they would fast track The application process down to three to four months. Different than applying directly to the VA which could take six to 12 months. At first they were very eager to help us. We did have our final meeting and put together documents and faxed it in. I had some additional questions after it was faxed in. The confirmation letter told us that it would be faster if we send in a digital copy. I left two messages both were unreturned. If I could get my mother's $599 back I would. I did give it two star rating because they did change just a couple of things on the application but certainly not worth a five-star rating.

  Using this software was the best decision I made!! Going through the application process with the VA can be quite daunting and when it was all said and done, I had 52 pages worth of application and supporting documentation that was submitted to the VA. But AidandAttendance was there to help me every step of the way. They were super responsive to all my emails, and when it came time to review everything, Keith with A&A went through my entire application to confirm we had dotted every "i" and crossed every "t". Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
