I ordered an 8x10 area rug from rugs.com it was supposed to have 1/6 of an inch piling. This thing had less than a 16th of an inch piling. I could have bought the same rug for less than $100. It was $234 total. This is a very cheap rug. They asked if I would like to exchange it for another rug and I told them due to the misleading information about this rag I was not interested in getting another ride from them. I do not recommend these people at all. They said that it would give me a refund and send me a shipping label. That was today. Said I should get the shipping label in 24 hours. ***********' rug I ordered came as an 7.5' x 10' rug, too small for the area for which it was ordered.When I complained (via email) about the varying I was told that sizes were approximations only given "for the customer's convenience."So, I asked to return the rug for a refund and received a refund and received the following instructions: "Your prepaid label(s) is attached and ready for your return. Follow our simple 3-step process to ensure a full refund."(NOTE THE **** "FULL."I returned the rug and my refund was shorted $84.99 or 23% of the purchase price.I was sent the wrong product and that's the fault of Rugs.com, NOT mine.Hence, I'm due the FULL refund promised.So Far...nothing except excuses as I've complained and will continue to do so.Review fromBonnie L

Do not purchase your new rugs from this company. I purchased 2 of the exact same rugs for a total of $399. Both were kinked when rolled out and have not flatten out. We called to let them know the rugs were defective and were told by their customer service that they would flatten out on their own after a while, but it has been 5 months and they are still kinked. We tried everything they offered as solutions but nothing worked. And now they are refusing to return and refund saying it is past the return date and that the large kinks tripping us in these rugs are not considered defects.. Funny these kinks don't show in the photo on their website. So here we are, stuck with two unusable rugs and out $399. They even had the nerve to offer a $36 store credit after spending $399 on defective rugs. Then after we refused this mediocre sum, they offereda $91 store credit. I mean, do they really think we would spend another ***** with their company to buy another trash rug we can't even use? Steer clear of Rugs.com. They do bad business. If we could give zero stars we would because this company is certainly not worth the one star I am forced to give them in order to create this review. They give trash customer service, and sell trash rugs, and do absplutely nothing to make a VERY unhappy customer happy. Rugs fulfilled an order of three different shaped rugs with coordinating patterns. Although, one rug was not sent due to unavailability. I had to press for another size, with a slightly lower price. I also had to press to receive the difference. Overall, the service was great. I see that any issues were based in **********************.I will order from Rugs again soon.Review fromLexi F

Although their selection and pricing is good, their website is full of false claims. Claim that all rugs ship within one business day. It's been two and I haven't received a shipment confirmation. When I placed my order I was prompted to "order within 2 hours for same day shipping" so my order should have shipped the day I placed the order. The rug looked great upon arrival. We laid it down & discarded the rug we purchased it to replace. A couple weeks hence, we lifted it up to vacuum underneath & discovered a 2.5-inch cut along the long edge held together with what appears to be packing tape. We also discovered multiple heavy-duty staples in 2 corners. They do not appear to be holding anything but removal would destroy the threads. We were offered (1) a return but now have nothing to put in its place, or (2) an insignificant 10% refund, which wouldn't come close to repairing it. When we noted that the rug had been advertised on the website as "brand new" with no imperfections & is so described on the attached label, we were told: "Please note all images of the rugs current condition are listed to show these imperfections on this specific item. All hand knotted and hand woven rugs are "brand new" in the condition they are in but they are refurbished and approximately ***** years old. Since then, they have been cleaned and refurbished from the main wear on the previous use." Obviously this makes no sense. A product is either brand new or it's not. We feel that rugs.com misrepresents its ******************** false advertising. We are very disappointed with our experience.Review fromGina V

I ordered several rugs from them and at first, was pleased. Then I placed an order approximately a week after another order. The second order never arrived. I looked at ***** tracking, it revealed that ***** never received the rug from rugs.com. Rugs.com only printed a label. I contacted rugs.com, and informed them multiple times of the situation. They had the ***** to send me a photo of my previous order sitting on my porch. We went back and forth like this for over a week. Complete nonsense! When I informed them I would be contacting my credit card company and BBB, they started sending viral emails to my inbox with a couple of letters off in the spelling of rugs.com. This company should be fined through the **** In the meantime, they are completely ignoring my credit card company and not refunding my $107 for THEIR MISTAKE!! Absolutely disgusting!Review fromSue L

Merchandise from rugs.com (2 x 8 ******** runner rugSKU *******) was delivered 11/14/22 with major, unsightly damage. I have contacted **************** 2x since then and sent photos and information back to them promptly as they had requested. I received very convincing promises, but absolutely NO ACTION!!!!! I am frustrated and extremely disappointed! I would expect any decent business to refund my money ($84.53) or replace the damaged merchandise.I will continue to tell others of my bad experience with rugs.com until they close their doors or resolve this issue!We just replaced carpet in our home with Premium Luxury Vinyl flooring. I had intended to order other, larger rugs to match the runner rug, but based on my experience, I will not have anything to do with this company. *********************, **Review fromLinsay L

I ordered a rug off of rugs.com about 2 months ago. The quality of the rug was terrible, and it ripped after the first time I vacuumed it, that was probably my fault for choosing a braided rug. The return process for this rug (and rug pad) has been a huge headache! First they told me they would not offer me a full refund, then they told me they would. I was told to roll the pad up in the rug and send back as one package, but when it was processed at the facility, only the rug was refunded to my account, not the pad. I called and was told to wait **** business days to see the full refund reflected in my account. It has been 20 business days and I still don't have the full refund. I had to call again, and they told me it should be in my account in 2-3 business days. If it's not there by the end of the week, I'm going to lose my mind! I've called and emailed with this company at least 5 times in the past month. I shouldn't have to work this hard to receive my refund.Review fromAriaa J

Horrible. I ordered three runners exactly the same three for my bedroom one for each side of the bed one for the foot of the bed because I have new flooring being installed. They arrived and you could clearly see two of the rugs were the same but the third one wasn't even remotely the same in fact it was a much smaller size Rug than the other two runners. I didn't even bother to open them I called and was given such a run around that I needed to take pictures and I would have to send the pictures via email and then they would get back to me to decide if I can return them they hadn't even been in my home 5 minutes. It was at that moment I decided to return all three instead of having them correct the order. After 21 days I just got a partial refund. When I called to question them about the partial refund they said the shipping charges had been deducted but the math still didn't add up. They literally tried to skim a dollar off the top of the refund literally $1. Once again I had to waste my valuable time to correct this by calling them and now I need to wait 7 to 10 more days to get my dollar back. Horrible company horrible customer service how hard is it to send three of the same rug when the order clearly specified three ******* rugs?
