Caremark works with WellCare Drug Plan. I have filed charges twice with both the BBB and *********Why? Caremark has NOT sent my medications regularly. I have spent hours and hours trying to communicate to both Caremark and WellCare. It took weeks to obtain my blood thinner which puts me at risk of another blood clot. I have even received a letter stating my doctor cancelled my blood thinner Rx (this was a lie). Another reason as to why I did not receive my blood thinner was because I called and cancelled it ( not true, why would I do that?). I have been billed for over $500. for this medication without y authorization. This resulted in formal grievance with my credit card company. DO NOT USE Caremark.

Who is running this company???? I went to pick up some medication and was told by the pharmacy my cost was $30. which I paid. Several months later I received a letter that an audit was done by CMS and I needed to pay an additional $148.00 for that medication.!! I called and spoke to two people. I explained that if I had known the cost was $178 ( total) I would have declined the medication. Too bad I still owe the money?!! I spoke to a supervisor who told me she was sorry but if I DIDN"T pay , the bill would NOT go to collections. I continued the conversation and the supervisor went to another supervisor who then said I HAD to pay or it WOULD go to collections!!! I just received a call from the ******************** who told me again..."too bad, so sad... their mistake but oh well and he said it WOULD NOT go to collections?!?! I already paid because I was afraid. He apologized but I can't get my money back and there is nothing more I can do ..WHAAAAAT???? I cannot believe that Silver script could not cover $148. because THEY made a mistake. Yes I paid it, but what about someone who could NOT pay that??? Collections or no collections..depends on who you talk to! I refuse to go with Silver script again!!! BEWARE!!!! Money Mongers!!!!

I'm a community Healthcare worker and the past few weeks my patients have had issues obtaining their medication from caremark. The lack of professionalism and care for patients is unacceptable and unbelievable. Being told to go get your medication filled elsewhere because we want be able to process this in time enough before you run out. So now I have to contact my doctor ****** and get a new script faxed to a different pharmacy. But yet you still want to process and **** for service your not able to give. My patients have to pay for their medication twice, once just to get from another pharmacy to have enough until you are to process it and then second to pay you once it has been processed. Caremark is only about the money.

Last year my company switched prescription insurance providers. Immediately my provider denied my prior approval for the prescription drug Cosentyx, which I am taking for both psoriasis and most importantly psoriatic arthritis. This drug worked wonders for my arthritis. I went from crippled to almost normal in a matter of months once I started taking cosentyx. They say that they need a new prior authorization every year. This seems to be an excuse to deny coverage to patients. It makes no medical sense to re-authorize medication like a biologic for a lifelong condition like psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. If I am doing better then the medicine is working. Every time I call I get a different person who has a different excuse for why they cant help me. No one knows anything about my case and they just switch me from one telephone service to another. This is the worst company I have ever experienced. After four months of denials and reviews this company still does not cover my medications. Employers should be warned not to go for the cheap gimmicks that CVS Caremark allegedly offers.

Let me start out by saying that my meds are keeping the cancer under control. My company changed insurance providers and I'm now FORCED to order my meds from CVS Caremark instead of picking them up at my oncology provider like I was used to doing.THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. THEY SHIP *** AND I'VE HAD MY MEDS DROPPED IN SNOW BANKS, LEFT OUT IN THE HEAT AND IN THE RAIN.Recently I received my monthly supply and noticed that the quantity in the bottle didn't seem right. I counted the pills and was shorted 28 pills which is 3.5 days on a 14 day cycle. I've been on the phone with those idiots for 2 straight days, over 3 hours without a resolution. They are now telling me that they need to look at the cameras! How the heck does that help me. I'll be out of pills in a week!!!!

After rationing meds for a few weeks, I am now completely out of a much-needed daily Rx. This a prescription I have taken for six years, with the same provider, dose, and Caremark account throughout. When my doctor attempted to renew the Rx in May (it's now June 28th), Caremark started their Prior Authorization game. And it is a game, the object being to delay, delay until the patient goes away. Case in point: this massive company can only accept their own prior auth form via fax. To be clear, I'm writing this in June of 2022, not ****. As someone working in healthcare IT for a $9B corporation, I can assure you that requiring these documents be sent over fax is vastly more expensive that working electronically. It's more dangerous, too, in multiple ways, not least of which is all the *** (protected health information, such as your name, address, date of birth, diagnosis, justification for treatment) that apparently gets lost every time they "didn't receive the fax." It is obvious that Caremark considers the expense and risk (their risk of maybe a HIPAA fine; not your risk of maybe dying) worthwhile in light of how much they'll save by not filling prescriptions for those patients and doctors who just give up.

Caremark is horrible! They lie and give you the run around. Im not even going to waste my time on writing how horrible they are and what they have done to me. The mere fact they are not a member of the BBB shows how much they suck! Just more c*** for them to deal with I guess. Change companies, or use a discount app if you can! If CVS sees this. Yes your company ***** and so do the vast majority of who you hire.
