    Lensa is a spammy scummy site that will make you think you are applying for a job but instead you are signing up for multiple scam sites that will try to steal your info for nefarious purposes. NEVER USE THEM.

    Lensa- They use unethical tactics in obtaining your information. They use ******** a lot. On LinkedIn I was solicited my by a so called recruiter for a specific role, in my field. Upon clicking on the JD it I was prompted to fill out my contact info, next I realized it was actually signing me up on their job board or whatever they do. That was a violation of my rights. If I wanted to sign up to their job board I wouldve, just as I joined ********. Then they send you emails of job listings as if you willingly subscribed. In order to stop receiving all correspondence you have to unsubscribe where-is you never subscribed to begin with. Im sick of these types of underhanded cringe companies. They are playing with ones livelihood. NOT GOOD.

    They sell your information to other companies and ********. Ive been receiving multiple calls and emails a day, only after using Lensa. Unless you want to constantly have your email and phone number berated, run and look back.

    I don't know who they are, how I started getting their emails, I have followed links to unsubscribe and the emails keep coming. They have NOTHING to do with my profession and please- stop it.

    Somehow, I ended up in Lensa without doing anything at all, so I tried to use them thinking they were like indeed or linked in, but they're really not. Most of the jobs they emailed me about were not actually available, minutes after I got their notifications, or the jobs cost an exorbitant amount of money just to look at what they were. All of the jobs they sent me were already accurately listed on indeed or LinkedIn, so Lensa has been a total waste of my time, energy and inbox capacity, not to mention super frustrating to try to use. Lensa really blew up my inbox with literally several hundred emails more than others like indeed or linked in, just in the span of five weeks (averaging 150 emails a week!) most of them were not at all applicable or in my field, so that was annoying, and I couldn't fix it. Lensa was truly not a good fit for me. I wouldn't give them any stars because they caused me to have to spend extra time dealing with a deluge of hundreds of unnecessary emails and I missed real emails about real jobs because of them. Thankfully their staff was helpful, took a couple days but they helped me delete my account when I couldn't (cause I didn't set it up). That worked, no more hundreds of totally unnecessary emails. You do need to write to their customer service to get out of their system, but at least they help you do that! Whew!!
