      Been trying to change my phone service to a new provider....8 hours of phone calls, 5 chats, and days of frustration, and I still cannot get service. Website says just change service...changed service - it did not work. Asked for phone to be unlocked 4 times - finally get someone who tells me since it is an apple phone, I have to wait 2 days for it to be unlocked. Interestingly, my dad has an iPhone and it took seconds for his phone to work...hmmmm. Every time I spoke with someone different and received a different answer. Been with Xfinity for 10 years...will not be using them every again for phone service.
      Only given one star....did not have a choice of NO stars....

      Worst company I have ever dealt with. 0 support, 0 service, making someone wait 48 hours with no phone to transfer to another company. This company does not care about the consumer at all.

      DISASTER!!!! If I only knew how horrible it would be to switch from Astound to Xfinity, I would have never done it. First, their system to sign up new customers is HORRIBLE, and it took weeks to register our address. Once we got that solved, it took THREE HOURS in the store to set up the account, but at that point, the people in the store were very pleasant, and we thought helpful. We had to have a technician set up the service, which was very good- on time and inspired confidence. But, due to our TVs, we could not fully set up our cable service, and we needed to go back to the store and get WIFI boxes- which we did, but they gave us the wrong boxes. When those did not work, I went back into the store- and realized that salesperson did not register the boxes to our account. Ok, registered the boxes - problem solved, NOPE. They then claimed that the technician did not close out the ticket correctly, so there was no way to activate the boxes correctly, and there was also no way to close out the ticket to activate the boxes without de-activating the hard-wired cable and our internet. And I was told at the store that the ticket would ABSOLUTELY close out overnight- and the store manager took my number and promised to call the next day- which, no surprise did not. So I called 800-Comcast, and after 2 hours and 24 minutes, we finally landed on having the technician come out again- two days later. The technician came out and looked at the boxes and said- these are not the correct boxes. They did not give us the WIFI boxes, but the hard-wired boxes. The technicians are outsourced and can not issue equipment. So again, back to the store only to be accused of giving them the wrong information and not taking ANY accountability for what was their fault.

      Xfinity cancelled my account 2 times before I even used the internet service. I just moved to Indiana and had set up an account with Xfinity 1 month prior to arrival. I paid $50 dollars to start the account. I told the representative that I was not at the residence yet and that I would pick up the equipment at a nearby store. I was ignored and the equipment was mailed to my house in Indiana where it sat on the front porch for several days before I could get my real estate agent to bring it inside for me. When I called about the incident, They must’ve thought I wanted to cancel my service because a week later when I checked the app, my account have been disconnected on that day. There was no explanation on why and I had to pay $50 to start a new account. I was assured that I would receive reimbursement. Fast forward two weeks I arrive at my house and attempt to set up the Internet only to find out that again my account was disabled. Again I had to pay $50 to start up a new account. That phone call lasted over 2 1/2 hours. After I received confirmation that I had an active account, I attempted to set up the Internet. I am an intelligence technician in the military, and I am very knowledgeable in all forms of communication to include Wi-Fi, ethernet, fiber, etc. The modem was not working so the representative said they could send out a technician but would charge me $100 if the fault was on my end. I have already paid them $150 for them to set up my account three times. I’m not about to lose 100 more for their incompetence. They still cannot tell me why my service was disconnected in the first place. Ultimately my fault for not reading all of these reviews from the BBB in the first place. I am now Happily connected to MetroNet, but may have lost $150 to a crooked company called Xfinity by Comcast.

      I pay 100% of my bill for the internet to work 50% of the time. In a world where people work from home this is not acceptable. There are no alternatives in my area and Comcast knows that. They can provide awful service all around and get away with charging an outrageous price.

      Concast criminals holding me hostage at address that ONLY uses Comcast for hispeed internet in Seattle so I can't switch and they know it My desktop PC has turned into one big hackable smartphone with their XB3 Gateway that constantly uses up my electricity to pay for wifi access I myself do not get to use since my PC and phone are connected only by ethernet and telephone line. I can't even leave this review since filling out my name address and phone with Comcast leads to 404 error! Thye have assigned me a blacklisted ip, abuse, hack and censor me.
