      By far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. If you are late with a payment, they send you belligerent, abusive, threatening e-mails stating that they will auction off your contents stored there. My payment was not even a month past due when they began threatening fines and the loss of my property. Also, they raised the cost 250% in 3 years. They completely abuse supply/demand over humanity. Avoid this company at all costs. They only care about themselves.

      They took thousands from us before we suffered a crime in which our household belongings in our home were destroyed. Our health was also affected, mostly mine. To leave the home, we had to spend a lot of money and also had spent a lot trying to resist the crime. So, we were financially strapped. We were paying our bills, but we were doing without basic necessities. When I called to find out my options on the last day of the grace period for the huge storage unit that cost quite a lot monthly, they offered me a reasonable extension and a waiver of late fees. When I then tried to pay according to the payment arrangement, despite having lost the ability to work for some time, they refused to take my payment unless I also paid late fees, the ones the arrangement said would be waived. I had moved from near the Pomona location storage unit where my things were to a very cold state and all my winter clothing along with everything else was destroyed. Same for my family member's winter and other clothing. So, I had no coat or winter clothing and winter was upon us. I told them even if I had the money for the late fees, it would have to be used for a thrift store coat and other necessities. But, I didn't have that money and wasn't supposed to. I repeatedly tried to pay my bill, calling customer service many times and asking for higher ups to contact me. I was harassed by the manager and her district manager with hostile messages while they refused to discuss the payment arrangement. They sent emails implying that I was uncommunicative, refused to pay rent, and difficult to work with. In fact, they didn't want to discuss anything in writing. They blame-shifted shamelessly and took no responsiblity whatsoever for the commitment to me. The sad part is that the company did nothing, so far. They simply don't follow up or take care of business. Their website boasts that they have the number one customer service award, but that must exclude all their management staff.

      I’m paying for three parking spaces and I continue to ask the manager to ask people to stop parking in my spots it’s a huge inconvenience one persons has left for a whole week. I called left a message for corporate last week and no response. I left a message for the district manager and no response.

      This review is of the Cubesmart location in Revere, MA. Avoid this place at all costs. Ok, so we have had a unit here for just shy of a month, and I don't really have anything great to say about this place so far other than the prices being better than most. First, I've gone to this spot 2 weekends this month, and my partner has been there 4 times on the weekend, and everytime there is never a single person at the office. Yes, they have summer hours, but they don't even abide by that at all. As I write this review, there is currently no one in the office when the hours clearly say open. I'm not the only one with this experience either, people have said it happens pretty much every weekend, and even during the weekdays when they are there, the show up late and leave early. During the week this week, my partner reported the door being locked with an employee inside on her phone, ignoring knocks at the door, and only came out at the end of the shift. People are trying to use the bathroom and resorting to driving to the Market Basket down the road just to use a bathroom. Lastly, another couple and I were having trouble getting into the unit during the weekend (again, open for business hours after 11 and no one was there to help us out), as the keypad for the door to get in was not active/working. I decided for the heck of it to try to yellow keypad to the garage door, and it also did not accept my code to get in. We had to wait for someone else coming to the unit to let us in. I called to report this to headquarters, and did not receive a call back until 4pm at night (5 hours later after we already left), asking me where I entered the code, to which I told her the door. Her response "No, that's wrong, you use the big yellow one behind you". No where in their email about entering the place does it explain that, and when I told her it didn't work when I tried my code, she just repeated my code back to me as if I didn't know it. Don't rent from this place.

      It was an UTTER DISASTER storing my things with CubeSmart. I left an entire home of furniture with them for a year. When it was time to live to a new house I discovered most everything I stored was covered in MOLD and RUST. Mattresses were bloated with dirty water. It was disgusting. What did CubeSmart do about it? Nothing. I purchased insurance - through them - but received no compensation as they considered it a flood event. In the small print there was a no flood damage clause and they ran with it. After getting the runaround from the facility manager and district manager, I finally spoke to Jennifer B**** in the corporate office. She was very nice and said she would look into it but then came back to say there was nothing could do. It was an expensive and frustrating lesson. Hopefully this review will help others avoid the same fate. Find another place to store your belongings. CubeSmart can’t be trusted.

      Giving them 1 star is also more. They have worst customer service. When you call them, they announce that they have highest customer service. I am from AZ and my daughter studies at MSU. She booked the storage to keep her stuff at the end of Spring semester. She moved her items to storage by 23rd of the month and booked the apartment. The apartment accepted the booking but did not tell exact date of providing the keys. In July The apartment confirmed that she will get the keys on 8/25. Storage told us that if we do not empty the storage by 8/22 then whole month of rent will be charged as per the lease agreement. I requested the manager that kids might not have thought about it, so please charge pro-rated till 25th and if on 25th the storage is not vacated then they can charge for the whole month. The manager did not accept and told us that if she charge us pro-rated rent, then her owner will fire her and she will loose her job. Legally, she may be correct, but then they should not all themselves "most customer friendly". In my view, they are least customer friendly as they could not accommodate her request to charge prorated fees for only 3 days. My daughter has to stay in MSU for few more years and will need storage again. Lesson learnt, do not go to CubeSmart, they are least customer friendly.

      Stay clear of the **** ** *** **** ***** ***** location. They have had a massive rodent infestation on their entire first and second floors and have not notified any of the renters. Approximately half of my belongings were damaged. I had been forced to get an insurance policy when I rented the unit, probably because they knew of the issues, but they are refusing to pay out. It's ridiculous that they charge an exorbitant amount for the unit but do not have any safeguards in place. Stay away.

      Location 0826 CUBESMART NY JAMAICA JAMAICA AVENUE is needless to say the most unprofessional rudest workers I have ever encountered with. I called for a breakdown of the bill. The person I spoke with was so unprofessional and nasty. She also lied about her name because I was going to report her. The problem was I received a letter from my stuff having a deadline on 7/20/22 to be auctioned. I had an amount of $378 to pay before that due date. I paid 7/19/22 $496 and some change. I called to know why because I paid $496 an extra $118 dollars. Why?! When my bill stated $378 payment before 7/20/22. This is why I called and she was so nasty and this is the second time I am having a problem with this location and same person. First time was that I came in at 7:15pm to access my storage unit and she said I didn’t have time to do so bc they closed at 7:30 when in store hours on google and in the store door reads 8pm closing. This person lied about their name and is completely unprofessional. I pay for my things to be stored here. This is not right. I had called the first time to speak to someone higher power through the customer service and nobody called back. Something needs to be done.

      I put my things in cubesmart in egg harbor township nj for a year and a half and when I went to get my things everything was bug infestation spiders eggs and water bugs in everything I had paid them 140 dollars a month and I had to take everything to the dump and had to pay for it I lost everything and paid 12 dollars for insurance and they said that it was not covered they ripped me off it was horrible

      We have been customers since we moved to San Antonio 5 years ago.We looked online at the reviews and it didn't seem like a bad idea to store our household goods here.We needed a humidity controlled unit and waited for a 10x10 to be available. Over the years things went smoothly but the rent kept increasing,which was understandable so we were going to downsize to move to a smaller unit but we just kept putting it off and we stayed way longer than we intended. We took our Christmas stuff back in January and there were no issues still. Fast forward to March when we went to get our luggage from storage.We went to our unit and our key wasn't working and we didn't know why. We flipped the lock over *which looked identical to our round lock,red sticker and all* and took a picture of the back of it.It said Uncle Bob's Storage on it.So we went to the front desk to find out what was going on. The front desk person came up with us and said they had been broken into but our unit was not effected. We told her about the lock being changed and we could not get into our unit. We had to cut the lock off and sure enough our unit had been hit. Our luggage was gone and 2 very expensive Lego sets were missing that we had just received for Christmas. The person put a lock on it to come back. Come to find out the person who did it,checked in online and wasn't even in person to do the storage rental,came in after hours and stayed all night wiping units out. They did not call anyone to let them know what had happened. We had been there January 18th dropping off our Christmas stuff and it happened on the 21st. They could have at least given a courtesy call to all of the units that rent in the facility to let us know what had happened so we could at least come check our unit out. So we had to make a claim on our insurance and file a police report which could have taken place months earlier. We decided to move out when they upped our rent to $200 after this happened. We cleared out our spare
