      Avoid like the plague! Our sales professional Chris fooled us over the phone with promises that an appliance would fit a specific space in our home. When the delivery team arrived with the appliance, we were informed that the appliance would most certainly not fit within the designated space. We returned the appliance after being assured that we would receive a full refund, only to learn that the sales representative withheld a certain amount of the refund. In over a dozen follow-up calls, neither Chris nor the accounting team is willing to accept responsibility and resolve the matter. We will never do business with Gerhard's Appliances and we strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for your appliance needs.

      We ordered a GE Profile refrigerator from the Doylestown store. They delivered a defective unit (water and ice dispenser was not working, light in freezer didn’t work and the freezer wasn’t getting cold). Delivery guys called office and was told they would contact us and they should go to their next stop. After numerous calls and speaking to several people they finally agreed to send their service tech out. (They reluctantly agreed due to my insistence - they had instead proposed that I wait 24 hours for the freezer to work “due to outside temps and the temp in their trucks” and said “their at home freezer doesn’t have a light so mine may not either.’ They also said I had to wait for a ge service tech to look at the dispensers which was available on August 24th - delivery was July 22nd). Their service tech determined the freezer compressor was dead and the wiring was bad in the refrigerator. After calling their office from my home he was told the left door needed to be replaced for the wiring and that they weren’t sure what to do with the compressor. He told them his recommendation was a replacement. It was Friday afternoon and I was told they would need approvals from the delivery manager and the owner before ordering a new unit and it most likely wouldn’t happen until Monday. The delivery team took our working fridge - which I called within 15 minutes to try to get brought back to us until an exchange could be done but they said it was too late. We lost several hundred of dollars in food and were not willing to wait for an approval that “should” be several days later (with the implication it may not be approved). We went to another appliance store and ordered the same fridge on Friday night and they delivered it Tuesday morning. Gerhard’s was contacted to pick up the defective appliance - which they did. However the refund they processed was for the appliance and extended warranty only. They refused to refund the $85 delivery charges. We had been loyal customers o

      We do apologize for the delay. The return for the original delivery charge and the in home service charge was processed and a full refund for the remainder of the customer's payment in the amount of $84.75 was refunded to their credit card on 8/15/22. Again our apologies.

      We purchased a 4pcs kitchen set in March, fridge, stove, dishwasher, and above the stove microwave. These were all delivered and installed on 4/11/22. Everything went well until I pointed out that the microwave door does not open more than maybe 6inches. The installers took pictures and said someone named Andy would call us the next day. Didn't happen. I then called them and spoke to the salesman Chris who we dealt with. After several emails back and forth he sent a email saying we were approved for the exchange. We told them which unit we would like and was told they would let us know when it is in. Ten emails and 3 months later we still haven't heard back. We spent over 6,0000 dollars for everything, over $350 for the microwave plus install kit and still can not use it.
      You would think that a company that has been around so long would have better customer care.
