      This is the absolute worst company you can get for GAP insurance. They do not communicate anything with you at all. I had no idea that they weren’t going to cover my vehicle until I called them. And that was after several attempts via email and almost 3 months after my accident. We paid for GAP for absolutely nothing, I feel like I was scammed. Take your money to a reputable accredited company.

      This company needs to be reported! We pay for their services to pay what insurance doesn't in one of our most vulnerable situations and they take MONTHS and dont even pay off the entire balance leaving you screwed. My banks behind my car was totaled months ago and the bank had frozen all my accounts and put my car in default with the credit company. They should be ashamed of themselves. This place needs to be sued. To bad in to busy trying to pay the car off to be able to afford a lawyer.

      Worst gap insurance ever!! They took for ever to pay my final payment after a total lost. Made me lost 100 points from my credit..

      Terrible!! My car was totaled in June I have gotten ALL the requested documents and sent them in only for them to keep asking me for more information. The breakdown is easy to understand. It’s obvious they are just looking for a reason not to pay the claim. I’m not an insurance company so I can only send what I am given. Very incompetent! And now I am going to have to pay two car payments because carco will not process. RUN RUN RUN from this company. My daughter had Zurich and they got all the documents for her and had her claim paid in less than 3 weeks. Wish I would’ve known how awful carco was going to be.

      Jordyn, I am writing to you today because you represent this company and we spoke on the phone about this claim. My name is Fredrick B*****, and I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with the ending results of this fraudulent company. I called carco gap multiple times in April and May inquiring about the payoff of the 2018 Dodge Charger. However, every time I called, I was told that the claim was being processed and due to the high volume of claims it will take 14 days to complete the process. Mind you, this claim has been processing since sometime in March and now it's June. Now, it is very unclear how the claim number switched from 182017 to 182071, I have emails from your company with the claim number 182017 as proof. I really feel that cargo is a fraudulent company and as the consumer, I've been frauded by carco gap. How could you deny a claim stating that drugs/DUI were involved per Jordyn. Currently, I'm not aware of any documents I signed about your company carco not paying a claim for any reason. I am asking that claims 182017 or 182071 be resolved immediately. I'm providing you with both claim numbers because I don't know what to believe from carco gap. I will report your company to the better business bureau, I will personally go to Towbin Dodge of Henderson, NV to report your company, I'm going to social media, and I will seek an attorney to take legal actions against carco gap. However, with all this being said, your company carco is looking for any reason not to pay this claim because carco gap is a fraudulent company. I suspected that something was wrong with the carco gap company because every time I called there were dogs barking and babies crying in the background, very unprofessional. So, I'm asking that this claim be expedited to the proper people at your company and pay the claim to Capital One Auto Finance asap. At this point, the delay in payment has been reflected on my credit bureau. Also, given that carco gap is a fraudulent company.

      It took car co 3 months to payoff the remaining balance for my gap insurance. They sent out 3 checks for the remaining balance instead of one check for the full amount. Horrible experience all the way through.

      This company needs to be sued out of existence! I filed a claim after I totaled my vehicle, and they needed page after page after page of paperwork to "process" my claim. My primary insurance company and lender didn't require even 1/3 of what they wanted, and moved forward with the totaling process. As I was sending emails with CARco's required information, Hannah, whom processes their claims (apparently), blocked my email address. I literally am having to get a lawyer to try to get them to do their job. If you take out an auto loan and this is the only GAP coverage you are offered, RUN AWAY! 3 weeks later, and nothing is done.

      In November I purchased a 2022 Yamaha Motorcycle @ a Yamaha Dealer. Bike was financed through Yamaha including the purchase of Carco GAP Insurance and listed on the Buyers Agreement. I also purchased Progressive Insurance as well which I paid in full at the time of Bike purchase. The end of January 2023 this Motorcycle was stolen and never recovered. Police Report obtained validating the same and was never recovered. My Progressive Insurance was great after reviewing the Police Report and Purchase documents and paid their portion within a very short period of time (which is more than twice the GAP dollars involved). The remainder was to be picked up by my GAP Insurance. Carco GAP Insurance of course requested the same/similar documents I utilized for the Progressive Claim. I did just this very quickly and they continue to stall/ignore the process stating things like documentation submitted are not adequate needing more more more. In turn I contacted some great people who've been working with me through this. One of which being Yamaha Financial Claims Agent AND the local Motorcycle Dealer I purchased the bike from. Both diligently worked both with me and between themselves as well as directly with the GAP Insurance company. The Yamaha Agent and the Dealer agree that all documentation was properly submitted to GAP and communicated directly with them as well through both email and phone. Considering Legal Action against this Business. Like others, I'd give them a zero star if possible.

      I had a wonderful experience with carco gap insurance I had the pleasure of having Marla as my claims rep and she is truly amazing she explained everything I needed and my claim was paid in 2 weeks all online and super easy. Marla was extremely quick to answer any emails and questions I may have had and it was truly a smooth experience. Marla has wonderful customer service skills and was a huge help.
