      I purchased a vehicle back in 2021 and they recommended that I get gap insurance with Carco which I did totaled my car in 2025 company did their portion contacted cargo they only made a partial payment and upon reading other reviews this is a pattern and this is what they do Come up with all kind of excuses on why not to pay a coverage for they are in breach of so many contracts. They are a scam. Please do not get coverage with these people and if you have to go to litigation then do that they are fraud all across-the-board. They only paid a partial payment of a significant large amount that is leaving me an outstanding balance, which is creating a hardship because its reporting on my credit reports , stay away from them

      This place is awful. They make you do THEIR job when requesting all documents and then when a problem arises they put it off on you. You might as well be your own freaking adjuster. You could be a hurt victim of a crash that wasnt your fault and this place will make your life a living HELL!!!!! Not to mention they are just RUDE!!!!!!!! If your adjuster is ****** ***** out of the Easton PA Office. ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. H*** SWITCH TO A NEW GAP COMPANY. BEAWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

      5 stars to ************ but providing 4 until the Gap is funded. ************ has been a pleasure to work with! She has responded quickly, walked me thru every step of the process, provided daily follow-*** for anything outstanding. We even struggled to receive closeout documentation from some of the Warranty Providers but she managed to be patient, and keep it to the facts (and not my emotion...haha). I genuinely appreciated her fortitude and working with her.

      Yes I am a purchaser of carco gap insurance recently got into an accident and had two file a claim the people that work here are very rude and lazy they seem to make you want to do their job and blame it on you when they can't figure something out. It really looks to me as though they just push you and push you and push you hoping you will forget about the incident you are involved in and not use their insurance well this has been a complete disaster my life has been flipped upside down and ******* from carco keeps giving us the runaround I wish she would just do her job Please be aware of this business and if you need their services look elsewhere they are a horrible company and customer service is horrible as well beware

      Terrible coverage. You purchase gap coverage for a reason and when the company supplying you the coverage doesn't cover the difference, there is a problem. Carco gap protection only pay about 40% of the difference trying to leave me with the remaining balance. They basically covered what i paid to them already! Terrible experience. I will NEVER use them again and will keep telling everyone i know about my experience.

      ***************** very rude and not helpful with my claim. Took me calling and emailing back and fourth for 2 months to finally get all the info they needed. Now I am waiting for the processing of my claim. The accident with my total loss was 01/25/2024. Had to wait for my regular insurance to finalize before I could put in the claim with Carco. They told me now that they have everything it could take up to 24 days. I have to continue to make payments on my car until this is all resolved and I had to get a new car. So now I have to car payments and I do not believe this company is going to help with the payments Ive made since the total loss.

      Horrible company. Requests an unbelievable amount of information for what should be a simple process and then deny what you send repeatedly (hoping you'll give up). Then, once you satisfy all of their requirements they cite multiple reasons you don't qualify and when you disprove them they jump to the next reason you don't meet the criteria. I seriously doubt they have ever had to pay a claim. Horrible company, I will definitely watch out for them on my next vehicle purchase and refuse to close the deal if there's not an alternative choice. I mean, who really takes the time to investigate their GAP insurance company when buying a new car?! Guess I will now going forward.

      It took almost 5 months for this company to pay my car off. The representative assigned to handle my claim would not answer my emails or return my phone calls. His name was Ben, they do not give you last names, that should be a red flag. If you call, you can never get him on the phone, they refuse to let you talk to your representative. They will take your message but you never get a call back. They require a ridiculous amount of paperwork to even file a claim. We had to go back to the dealership to cancel warranties that we bought with the car so that those could be applied to the balance of the car. That process alone took 6-8 weeks. Then had to go through an approval process. It's almost as if they stall and stall and stall in the hopes that you will give up. We continued to pay and make payments on this car that we did not have. And when they finally paid it, we were not reimbursed for all the months in which we were tied up waiting for them to pay. I have filed 3 gap claims in the past and have never had to go through the paperwork or the wait that I had to go with this company. Avoid this company if you can. If I ever buy another car again and this is the only gap coverage they provide, I will walk away!! BEWARE!!

      Sent in my GAP cancellation request over 40 days ago. Their automated system claims that "Cancellations are processed within 7-14 business days". Nonsense. I have now reached out three times and received the same automated reply. Very frustrating treatment from a shady company.
