    I got 3 different bids for my windows. Universal Windows came in below the other bids, but the reason I chose them is because the sales person brought a sample window to my house and showed me exactly what I was purchasing. I was impressed by her enthusiasm and knowledge. They also have a transferable lifetime warranty for anything.I do wish that someone would have pointed out exactly what was staying around my windows when the new windows were installed. I have trim that I have to paint around my new windows and would have rather painted around the old windows knowing they were going to get removed.The installer was great. He wore his face mask while working inside. He was very friendly and was finished in no time. He cleaned up afterward and was on his way.I wasn't a fan of the financing, as they use a 3rd party and I had already started paying on that statement 2 months ago. So I was paying on windows that were not installed yet. I did not like that much. Not sure how that would have worked if the installation went bad, but it did not. I would use this company again for future projects.

    The windows are great but the workers putting them in are not. The first 5 windows the Tech put in the new window ***** we paid for. The tech over cut leaving them easily seen and damaged the walls around the ***** and leaving it. The tech they sent to fix plastered a little and puttied the over cut but now I have to repaint the walls. The Bay window they left the nail holes uncovered and had the nerve to cut wood on my carpet instead of outside and snagged the carpet in 2 places and burn't 3 holes in the carpet. Universal Windows Direct has so far refused to do anything about the carpet and has left me to paint my whole house. Bad work good product.
