Phone Interview was blown off complete for ***** ******* ** ***** Security Officer - Secret Clearance (Indeed) At noon I received a response to my initial email asking about what happened and why I did not receive any communication about canceling our interview. "I apologize I had a last-minute meeting. I sent an email asking to reschedule." (Never got it. I checked) However, the Assistant Account Manager, ignored our phone interview, which was supposed to take place between 11:30 and 12:00 today, November 6th 2023. As an illustration, take into consideration how her disregard for my time, misunderstandings, or lack of appreciation entirely go against Allied Universal's fundamental principles, which state that "Excellence starts with local leadership and local presence." This is our story: *******************. Rather, this company employee portrays the culture of the corporation as being unresponsive to individuals who occupy leadership positions. No, I'm OK. My interest has waned.

I am an allied employee in wa state. For 2.5 years I have always been given a notice for shift change. I was asked to work a shift with a 5 hr notice which I agreed to. This particular shift we specifically hired for one day a week. I assumed our person that worked that shift may be out sick. The next week on the same shift I received phone calls and text that I missed my shift. Unbeknownst my supervisor put me on the schedule for that shift permanently without notifying me and I was given a no call no show final notice. When I tried to fight it I was told it’s my responsibility to check the schedule and I signed the policy when hired. The HR director told me I have to check my schedule weekly, which I do and also had a text to my supervisor 2 days before that shift about another schedule change in which I did not see a change to work that shift. Then my general manager told me I need to check my schedule constantly. The handbook says shift can change at anytime with little to no notice. I am the go to person and work any shift anytime and have never had a complaint and have been offered 2 supervisor positions. I love my job and love this company but this is bulls***! The company has a written policy for everything but anything that would blame management. There core values on being phenomenal and teamwork and integrity went right out the shitter when the supervisor screwed up and blamed it on me.

I have worked for Allied for 2.5 years and have an excellent work ethic. I have never been late or sick and have worked every shift asked. I work at other locations on days off and have turned down 2 supervisor positions. I have never been reprimanded or written up for anything. I came in to work the other night and to my surprise had a Final Notice Write up for no call/no show on a shift I had no idea I was supposed to work. My on site supervisor and myself had no idea an employee was on suspension and I had been put on the schedule. I was told by the General manager it is my responsibility to check the schedule. He said basically they did me a favor by giving me a Final Notice and not firing me for No show which is policy. I have all text and messages showing I did not know of the schedule change and I had just looked 2 days prior and did not see it. I filed a complaint with HR and the ethics hotline. This is not on me and I want it removed.

They cheat you out of pay regular and definitely overtime pay very unorganized and the more dedicated you are to them and your job the worse they treat you in my opinion they are a very very sorry company to work for and need to be investigated throughly especially the pencil pushers in the high up offices especially the Nashville Tennessee headquarters

Worked for Allied Universal for a little over 2 months and on the day I was hired my supervisor Victor Kozi stopped answering my calls, voicemails and emails. The only time he acknowledged my existence after being hired was the day I sent my last email to him putting in my 2 week notice. This Supervisor should NOT go unpunished and I hope my efforts help the next Allied Universal worker, god speed.

i worked for the PPAN part of allied which serves the ford plants in michigan for 4 years. HR managment is mediocre and unreliable, overtime is plentiful but non exsistent when you need it, benefits are TRASH, the job itself is low stress in phisicality and it could be the easiest money youve ever made. but where there is room for advancement it does not matter because the pay is maybe a dollar give or take a few cents difference. unless its a lvl 1 going to a lvl 2, but above that its not worth it. if there is layoffs or anything similar the company WILL NOT help you. not matter how hard you work or how much OT you put in... they will leave you high and dry with no options and watch you lose everything. union is a joke, really i paid union dues for nothing. the work was low stress and i had good co workers which made it fun. but i will NEVER work for allied again! your work will not be rewarded or hardly recognized. you will be thrown under the bus at the drop of a hat. honestly unless you NEED the job or need a stepping stone to figure something else out i would just go look for something else. the client(ford) wanted cut backs which was expected. and the company just screwed over everyone who has been laid off or furloughed. now i have to start over. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband works for Allied universal at Deka battery he is a guard I was on the phone with him when a guard who is Hispanic started saying people who are white are Rednecks, crackers, and white pigs. My husband is Hispanic and reported it to his supervisor and nothing was done to the employee. Than last night another so called supervisor started screaming at my husband. Allied is a joke and never listen to complaints. I wish I could go ask Allied myself. How do you all run a company that is racist and prejudice to all the workers?

This place is so unprofessional and they either act like they’re so busy or confused when you call them. I would always have to reach out to the Operations Manager when I didn’t get paid for a sick day or a vacation hours I’ve taken. I will fill out the forms as requested but wouldn’t get my money on time. It’s almost August and I still didn’t get paid for taking 2 vacation days in 3 months ago but it shows my reduction in vacation hours…. This company wants you to show up on time and do your job fine I get that but I shouldn’t have to call, email or text the OM so many times before I get paid. They don’t value their officers and the field captains don’t know nothing either. I haven’t worked in security for long but this company is the worst. Most of the time we have to handle things on our own.
