Just spent 45 minutes on the phone. I was trying to make a payment on my credit card. Will not use this system again.

I feel strongly the OnPoint Community Credit Union has become very indifferent and downright disrespectful to its customers. I have been an OnPoint member since **** when it was still ******** Teachers Credit Union - 30 years! Up until fairly recently I have been satisfied with the services I have received - I hold two mortgages and and have numerous other accounts and all has generally gone pretty smoothly. HOWEVER, the customer ********************** via phone has become truly awful and there are no signs it will improve - it is actually getting far worse. Today I finally reached my limit with OnPoint!! Here I am on the phone with an agent who has a terribly scratchy line and an attitude that oozed "I don't really care". She transferred me to another agent who could help with my question. I spent quite a bit of time with her, then the call drops for the usual unknown reasons. Can't the credit union even have the decency to call me back rather than have me spend another 30+minutes going through the hoops again? Show some respect! It's the same old story - once an organization gets too large its customers suffer...

I have had Onpoint CCU for over 25 years, back when they were ******** Teachers Credit Union. This year I took out an OPCCU **** credit card. I was never told I would have to call and set up auto payment, that it could not be done in their (come to find out- archaic) App. So I call the number on the back of my card to set it up with a rep. 3 phone calls and 3 phone numbers later I finally get to the right agent to help with that apparently sophisticated process. He was very monotone not pleased with his job. Which I dont blame him. However my real issue come in here:I could not set up auto payment on my own. I had to rely on someone else to do it. More, there is no evidence provided (via confirmation number, email, or notation in my information on the app) that it has been set up. So I have to take it by blind faith that my finances are in order by a perfect unfriendly stranger on the phone. What is that?I would like an apology, and I would like your MO upon signing for credit card to make this clear to all future clients. I would also deem it appropriate and ethical for onpoint to empower and update their app for their customers to be able to manage and see changes to their bill pay reflected to them in their information. How archaic ! Get with the program. And pls retrain mr nice guy.

Very sketchy operation. They tried to gain access to my credit report (not necessary for a checking account) and lied to my face about trying. Glad my credit is frozen.Super incompetent clerks and just dishonest all around

Charging people $30 overdraft fees for paying an item, that would only result in being **** in the hole, is frustrating and only makes it harder on struggling families. Do better.

This is the Credit Union from the Devil. It is time-consuming and the staff is brainwashed into thinking that time-consuming is the norm. $15 to pay my loan is excessive. Not being able to set up recurring payments is beyond outdated. If you got hooked into this nightmare via a car loan be prepared to deal with slow service and repetitive answers that do not solve problems. If you do not comply with the robotic service, they will hang up on you or become confused. I have to wonder if that is because the work culture according to glassdoor is toxic. It does seem like an organized effort to make a poor system worse.
