I am done with this company before in the very first apartment I got on my own I waited 3 months to move in for construction to be done cuz I work graveyard at the time I got told construction on my building that I'd be moving into would be completed and it was far from being completed by the time I moved in I was unable to sleep in my own room for over 3 months. I even tried working with them with my work schedule as I worked 7 Days on 6 days off try convincing them to have the workers work every other week on the apartment when I had the time off so I can get the proper rest for work they were unable to do this. To me at this point was unlivable conditions and I had to stay sleeping in my car until the work was completed. Now the apartment I live in now just started being managed by them just recently within the last year or so in the communication is absolutely horrendous I've always made sure my rent was paid and I got laid off from work and I was getting assistance for rent and the owner or the property management are not filling their end of it so they can get their paid money and now I'm being threatened to be kicked out and now I have to go to court to show proof that I am trying to do everything I can on my end to make sure this doesn't happen as I'm a single parent. The communication even back then was horrendous I moved out and they tried charging me for every single thing in the apartment including the fridge the stove the washer and dryer the only things I agreed with that I should have been charged was for the carpet and a door too they end up dropping the charges on that apartment back then and they can't communicate for some odd reason with the apartment assistant people for renters assistance in a timely fashion where they can get paid when they're supposed toReview fromEric V

Since day one of moving in we've had problems and we've constantly be giving them maintenance request not only was our apartment never cleaned from the previous tenants we still have black mold from the previous tenants as well we found these problems after the fact and yes we put in maintenance request over 4 months ago and we are on housing we have explained the store housing agent and that thing is being done we've explained this to the multiple times and nothing's being done we've tried to explain two legacy property Management that their online website is not working so we can't put in maintenance requests so when we call them they tell us that we're being rude even though I have human f**** falling out of my bathtub and my bathtub all over my floor I have a two-year-old and a pregnant fiance are her apartment is literally falling apart we do not know how this place passed inspection we were placed here and it's not okay but with that being said that's not our problem our problem is the lack of communication in the constant no 24-hour notices that they are sending people in they also sit here and tell us that work assignments were complete when they weren't as of today they said that they have four work assignments complete when there is not they are not complete you can literally come to my house right now and see that they are not complete I have been quoting the habitability law to them multiple times and yet nothing is being done we told him about this p*** problem and maintenance problems almost 6 months ago and they displaced us for Christmas not caring they really said that the apartment was not habitable then they said that they fixed the apartment and everything was done when we come to find out it was not we have a health code violation multiple of them we have fire hazards all over our apartment and yet they still do nothing we can't even use our stove right now and they will not talk to us that we told them all about these problems 6 months to 4 agoReview fromHolly S

**** from maintenance is by far, their best employee. He has been to my apartment two times and has fixed my problems in under 10 minutes. He comes prepared, is very professional, and very knowledgeable and has the right tools. They were going to install a new dishwasher, he adjusted a s**** and my dishwasher works just fine. He saved them $$ by not purchasing a new dishwasher. Legacy has a huge turnover of maintenance techs but **** is a keeper!! Very satisfied.Review fromEkimbrea W

WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Legacy Property Management, is one of the most Disgraceful, Despicable, Unprofessional, Bias, Non- Communicative, Fraudulent Scammers that I've ever rented from, Legacy Property Management Sent me multiple false Non payment of rent Notices out of retaliation when I had 2 failed inspections! because they refused to complete the repairs I needed, Prior to the false Notices that I've received from Legacy Property Management, they received a total of $8,173.32 they added in the incorrect amount of rent that I was paying from October 2022 through February 2023 with additional late fees that I never owed! I moved out in November of 2023 and received $705.00 out of 8,173.32 these crooks from Legacy Property Management not only committed fraud but also committed a crime! I wouldn't recommend anyone to move into any of Legacy Property Management Homes, not to mention Legacy Property Management also entered my home multiple time's without notice which is also against tenant Rights! Karma miss no one's address. I've received so many complaints from other tenants as well about Legacy Property Management and these crooks will pay for everything they've done to good tenants such as myself.Review fromBarbara C

I got a lot to tell but i am going to let it speak for it self when time come. I am disable and asked them to fix things. They took their time. I had to involved **************** and it failed the inspection and was still in violations. It was a health issues before i left. I got picture, documentation.. They tied to evict me when i had surgery. I pay rent twice between them and the old landlord and they tried to evict me. I had to get my support counselor through my health care to help me to paid the rent after i paid that month and he told me well the last landlord did not applied that check to that month rent so i had to pay twice and got an eviction notice. I do have witness . They knew i had a disabilities they do not care, and they told me i had to cleaned the apartment the way it was when i first move in. I did the best i can due to shoulder surgery but it was not good enough . i lived there for 7 years and they expected to be in top shape.Review fromJessika B

Extremely unprofessional company. Where do I even begin? My apartment was not cleaned before I moved in. Management says it was. I was finding press on nails, stickers, sequins. Basically debris that couldn't have been from us as we hadn't even fully moved in. The carpets were not cleaned or even vacuumed. I took a strip of tape to the floor and it came up with a bunch of pet hair. (My cat hadn't even moved in yet). When I voiced all my concerns to management I got a very generic response and absolutely no action was taken. There was dust in the cupboards, broken blinds, screens and window seals. The closet in one of the bedrooms literally smelled like a rodent cage (we don't have rodents as pets) None of our furniture sits straight up, everything leans indicating something is structurally wrong. We can hear everything our downstairs neighbors do as if they lived above us. Now for the latest drama, we found black mold on Sunday, the 22nd. Submitted a report. The 23rd comes, they didn't respond. Called the office to basically get transferred around and hung up on. Later we get a text saying "due to the holiday, we were unable to respond". We were told someone would be out by 3pm yesterday. No one showed up or even communicated that they would not be coming. Just found out my partner was getting texts from management UNTIL MIDNIGHT last night to arrange a time to come look at it. You guys can't even talk to us during the day, but texting us until midnight is okay? Literally counting down the days until my lease is over.Review fromAriel L

This place is a f****** joke!!!! I've been here for about a year and I am getting blamed and accused for stuff I have NOT done.. they have someone living in the maintenance room which is right next to my unit,. there is a random window connected to my patio these people are Extremely Loud... the downstairs neighbor is rude as ****...tapping on roof for me to be quiet I have multiple complaints they have ignored my request for my unit and ignore me these people set me up for failure... accusing me of having a shepherd dog living with me without a pet deposit..I DON'T have a pet. I recently had a visitor for Christmas that has a service animal for 2 days.. I was recently put on a " cure for lease "and I kept calling about a pet deposit payment and they've ignored that... no I am getting harassed by ************************* this is harassment.didn't give me a 24 notice of intre...they've harassed me for a year now with eviction letters.....they ignored my phone calls about repairs and fail to respond to any request....I requested a new lock for my door ******* stated " install it yourself make a copy to give to us." I never did cause I've been in and out of hospitals I have medical conditions and still work...the the maintenance guys girlfriend ***** brought over this chick and her ******* dog that runs rverywhere let's her store her things in laundry and sleep in laundry room.. and they've nonstop complained about me bring ******* dig the fact they thought it ***** is messed up I've had to fix all the repairs... also someone sprey painted my patio I tried to report it they didn't answer me so I cleaned it up myself also I'm suing this company for harassment and false accusations..along with barging in my unite univited when I said I need to go to work taking photos ....they are A**holes.. don't give a f*** about anyone ***** and her boyfriend shouldn't have this type of control it's not fait I work my a** off and homeless people get to live next to me for free...Review fromLynda H

This building and its management are a joke. No one is ever around to fix anything and when they do they just show up. Someone came in when just my 13 year old son was home alone and didnt give me 24 hours notice. There are constant issues with water leaks. They run AC in the halls to the point you freeze even in the winter. Constant water shut down and repair issues. Took weeks to get a working fob for the parking I PAID monthly for. And then when you go to move out they will **** you for every ***** they can. I have NEVER dealt with such a terrible management company and Ive rented from Boardwalk!! That is really saying something!! Took over 2 weeks to get my deposit. Even though they had the paperwork for 11 days! They wouldnt even tell me what I was getting back and then they charged me for stuff that Ive never been charged for before. What an absolutely joke! Stay clear if you want your monies worth!
