    Money, time, and service are 3 things any business should respect. This company respects none of those. I placed an order for a 4x2x2 enclosure on May 4th 2024 and at the time was told it would be between 8-10 weeks to receive my order. OK, no worries I can wait. The enclosure cost me around $550 and I was ok with that as it was around the price of other competitors and if the quality was good I could justify it. 6 months went by and I had received nothing. No words, no updates. I personally had to go out of my way to either emailing or checking their website for any information just for them to tell me it would be xyz more weeks. So after waiting xyz more weeks and still receiving nothing I decided to get a refund since my snake was growing and needed a new enclosure and I was not going to wait another 6 months for potentially nothing when I could order from somewhere else and get an equally good or better product. So I placed a refund, now there refund policy is also super sketchy as it states you can't even get a full refund. And once again it has been 3 weeks and I have yet to receive my refund. This is outright scam behavior and leaves me with nothing but a bitter taste as their responses to my emails have just been, "we're working on it." I have no reason or want to ever purchase from them again as I placed an order through a competitor and received my order within a week and it was $200 less. If they had respected at least one of the three things any business should respect I would be willing to change my views, however they have yet to prove me wrong. Do Not buy from Custom Reptile Habitats.

    -10 would be my choice of review. They do not provide you with a finished product and drag their feet to provide a refund. There are so many people who request refunds that they can’t keep up with them. I purchased 2 enclosures early August and have not received them, nor have I received communication from them on where we are. This business is terribly ran. Don’t lose your money here

    I placed a order in April 2024, got one of the two items I ordered in May. I would send emails for updates and they replied 'delayed materials' multiple times. Finally requested refund for the one item I didn't receive on 9/11/24. They said it would be 10 business days for refund 'sometimes longer.' Opened PayPal dispute 10/11/24 and still waiting for their response. It is now 27 business days and no refund!

    Ordered an ses PVC enclosure back in March 16 2024, ship times then were 8-10 weeks out. After waiting several months I began emailing with the company to get an estimate on delivery, kept being told shipping times were backed up to a delay in material shipments. After 7 months on getting the same response and still not getting my cage I cancelled my order and was supposed to get my refund within 10 business days as stated in there policy...it has been 4 weeks and I still don't have my refund and they are ignoring my calls now.

    I waited for my enclosure for 5 months before cancelling. It’s been a month and a half now and I still don’t have my refund. They took $1792 from me and now won’t even respond to my emails.

    Order a tank with the assumption of 10 week lead time. Inquired at 8 weeks, company said 10 weeks isn't going to be able to be hit, and would not give me a new date for updated delivery. Company offered refund, which I accepted. 60 days from requesting refund - still no refund, still no tank. Company has kept my money and delivered nothing. Save your money and don't do business with this company.

    Hi Alan,

    We are sorry for the delays which pushes orders out past the average wait times. This year we have had several lengthy delays on some custom materials that are just made for us and we do sincerely apologize for this.

    On the refund side, you initiated a chargeback on September 12th so your bank has your refund and will no doubt soon deposit it into your account. Unfortunately chargebacks do add time to receiving refunds, despite the fact that the funds are immediately debited from our account.

    I’ve Always have had a great experience with the Custom Reptile Habitats crew! They were super quick to answer my questions about their SES cages and were kind enough to help me with more questions after arrival. Also, the fragile package arrived without a mark. I really appreciated the packaging details to make sure everything got here in one piece. I’ll use them exclusively for all my enclosure needs because of this experience.

    This is a great company with awesome products. I have personally seen where they make their enclosures and have met the amazing staff. I love supporting companies that make American made products and unlike most enclosure companies, these are made in the USA, not outsourced. The customer service is great and the owner truly believes in his products. Highly recommend!

    The entire experience ordering from this company has been amazing. The company is small and I was even able to speak with the owner. They will help you choose the right enclosure for your reptile even if it’s not from them! I was really impressed with the quality of the materials and the overall enclosure. We’ve had a variety of enclosure types and these are definitely top notch. I’m happy to have these enclosures for my reptiles and I’m even more happy to support a company who cares about the animals that go into their enclosures.

    Very happy with my purchase! Customer service is very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions. Enclosures are amazing and high quality the photos online don’t do them justice.
