LeafFilter installed new gutters in April, 2025. They did not install the gutters properly and they leak everywhere. They also used huge amounts of silicone to adhere the eave spouts to the brick instead of straps. The cheap plastic mesh used for leaf guards is so fine that water cannot get through if there is any pollen or leaves on top and water runs over the top of the gutters when it rains. LeafFilter said it was my roof that is to blame for the leaks. I have had several roof/gutter companies out to give me their opinion, and they all said the gutters were not properly installed. Also, their prices are more than twice as much as other companies charge. I would give them minus stars if I could. Based on my personal experience, I would never hire them or recommend them to anyone.

At the time of installation they said it's life time warranty and you never need to go on ladder. Now that it's covered by leaf and water cannot drain in the gutter, they say your gutter didn't clogged, it's the nature leaving the leaf on your filter and you have to pay service fee to clear the leaves from the filter. So what's the difference if we have a filter or not if we have to clean the filter every year?LeafFilter Gutter Protection

I wish I had researched LeafFilter before buying their service and product. The installation went fine, my complaints are regarding post-installation. I discovered that their contractor they had come out and do the pre-installation gutter clearing and fixing up of the downspouts, elbow joints, etc. did not address an issue with one of the connections of the gutter to the downspout. When winter arrived and it rained, anything more than a sprinkle, water gushed out of the elbow joint at the top, jeopardizing my houses foundation. Also, at every gutter corner AND in other places, leaf crud gathered on and spilled over the side of the filters. Aware of the lifetime guarantee, I called LeafFilter to have someone come out and clear it all off the filters. The so-called warranty isnt great - they charge $95 minimum to have their own crappy product serviced. *** found a better company that *** hired to replace every LeafFilter with a better product, at a much better price. Their service includes cleaning **** off the roof and installing a downspout on a second-story, short downspout that empties out onto the first story roof, so that it does not get damaged from all the water. I called **************************************** regarding a needed repair job to address the downspout that fell down. Our expensive initial cost included all new gutters, downspouts and the leaf filter system. I was told for a $95 fee; a worker would come by to repair the downspout and perform an inspection to ensure there were no other problems. An appointment was scheduled for May 9th. On April 30th, we received a call from Mr. * stating he would arrive in 10 minutes to perform the repair work. While we appreciated the earlier appointment, a 10-minute warning was not appreciated. *** * repaired the faulty downspout but refused to inspect the entire system. I did my own inspection and showed him an area where clear evidence reflected water overflow. He volunteered to install a splash guard. He proceeded to install a white colored guard which I deemed unacceptable as our rain gutters were a light brown color and it stuck out like a sore thumb. When I asked it removed, *** * coped a bad attitude. By his own admission, **. * said he had a bad attitude because he had a big install that day cancelled and that he was stuck doing repair jobs. He further stated he always had a bad attitude. It wasnt long before we were yelling at each other. To make matters worse, our Caller ID showed that Mr. * called us at 10:00 PM that night and hung up. Very unprofessional!Why did we wait so long to write this review? We were expecting Leaf Filter to ask us to complete a survey. Almost every service-oriented business asks customers to complete a survey. Its apparent to us that they do not care.What are we seeking by writing this review? We want the promised full inspection performed by a customer-friendly associate. Further, we desire a professional manager of *********** to give us an apology for the rude attitude of their employee. Will we recommend Leaf Filter to our friends and neighbors? High pressure sales starting at a ridiculous price. Gave in and had them installed. Had them 8 years now and constantly on the roof cleaning the plugged debris off. I called and asked if someone could come out and look at them they want to charge me $95.00 to take a look. I asked what happened to the lifetime guarantee and they never got back to me. ****, ghosted like the guarantee.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Someone once told me that the best customer treatment you can ever expect from any company is before you sign on the dotted line.I just met with the LeafFilter salesperson here at my home in the *******. Initially he was pushy and arrogant, and when I expressed doubts about whether the Leaf Filter product could perform any better that any other "maintenance free" leaf protection gutter system our conversation quickly deteriorated. By the time he left my house he had insulted me several times and left me in such an upset state that I could never consider their product or company, ever.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Repeat customer here!Had them out 5 years ago to put filter on my house when i moved in and haven't had to clean the gutters since then!!Had them out again last year to replace a gutter because it was an older steel one and it was time... They took the filter, replaced the gutter and a re-installed the filter back onto the new gutter.They are a class act. Installers were prompt and efficient. They had to come back a day or two later but it was no biggie. I WAS GLAD THEY TOOK THE TIME TO GET IT DONE RIGHT!LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Had LeafFilter installed in July 2023 with understanding gutters would not get clogged. In 2024, had company out to address a clogged problem by patio. Had them come out this year for same problem. However, LeafFilter charges me when I supposedly have a lifetime warranty. Obviously they are not standing by their no clogged guarantee.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Awful, company and service. I had a rep over to sell the product in December 2023, the *** assured me debris would not build up on my gutters and laughed at the assumption it would, he then asked to hold my infant daughter which was inappropriate. After the product was installed, I had issues right away with debris building up. I have had techs over several times to adjust the system, and in March 2025, I was fed up with the system not working and asked for the product to be removed and for my money back under their lifetime warranty. Their local manager, **** in ********, agreed to remove the product on 04/11/25. Leaffilter has since not returned several calls and their customer service team has told me they're escalating the ticket but will not return my calls. Only a 1 star but would rather leave no stars ! DO NOT PURCHASE !!! I have had nothing but issue after issue with them . First installation they installed and ruined my gutter by putting holes in the bottom of every single piece ! They did replace but before I threatened to go to court because they came out and installed pieces that were white and my gutters are sandstone in color and proceeded to spray paint them . Then after a couple of years of installation they wont clean or do anything after a sales pitch of never climb on your roof again but the filter will clog and the water will just run over the filter then next to the foundation still . I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH LEAFFILTER GUTTER GUARDLeafFilter Gutter Protection
