       I am rejecting this response because: I was told I had a Lifetime Warranty and NO service fees were ever mentioned.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      After the service visit on 5.14.25 it was clear that the filter units placed over the gutters were clogged up in multiple areas.  I viewed the photos of the service person. The clogged up "leaf filter" meshing was the reason for the overflow of water.  The purpose of the doing the project is to prevent water overflow from causing damage to the home:  foundation, mold in attic, rotting of wood around gutters and soffits as advertised on TV and as explained by sales.  Now, instead of overflow of water from debris within the gutter unit, I have overflow from the clogged-up hardware installed on the gutters.  I had previous gutter guards removed because they did not work and addressed this with the sales person who said "I understand your skepticism", but leaf filter is different, demonstrating the high-water flow rate through a filter unit at my kitchen sink.  The salesperson was ******* *** ****** (************)  has never returned my calls. It appears that the leaf filter units clog up, cause water overflow, and do not solve the problem of clogged gutters by causing clogging of the hardware placed on the gutters.  The damage produced from water overflow is the same.  Consequently, they are useless in solving any problem, and I request a refund.  The sales contract Money back no clog guarantee.  (see submitted contract).

      Here is customer agreement written by ******* *** ******, regional manager, leaf Filter.  The Customer Agreement:  "We completely clean out the existing gutters and downspouts.  We then seal, alight and reinforce as needed.  We install LeafFilter which gets a lifetime transferable warranty and money back no clog guarantee.  Price includes insurance during install and all clean up"  signed dated 4.9.25, contractor.

       I am rejecting this response because:


      The Company response is "The systems do not clog up".  The statement is a generality, like a definition, and is like saying our system do not clog up, they never clog up, they work for every home environment.  There is a problem, however.  The system installed at my home at *** ******** did clog up, with "natural debris". So the statement applied to my situation is false.  I viewed the photos from the serviceman's iPhone showing natural debris overlaying the filters where water spilled out.  The service provided was unclogging the filters.  In the first instance of rain, the clog resulted in overflow of water, which has the effect of damaging the home over time. Obviously, LeafFilter will not come out after every rain and overflow to blow the debris off the clogged filters.  I am told there is a $95 service fee for this after the first year every time they provide service of unclogging.  The product is stated to have a money back no clog guarantee in my contract. The product failed on the first rainfall, and the guaranteed statement is clear in its meaning.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      The gutter was installed to low and allows hard rain to overshoot and spill into the ground.  I told the installers it was to low when they installed it. They didn't want to take the time to address the drip edge/facia issue, so they took the cheap easy way out. 

       

      They did substandard work inorder to just slam the gutter in place and finish the job. I am amazed that they would think a botched job like this would be acceptable by any homeowner.  


      several pictures, and said he would show them to his boss and get back to me. He left me with a strong feeling that they were not going to do anything about the problem. His visit was on 9 May 2025, "I think." As of today, 13 May, I have not heard anything from them.

      Service/inspection completed on 5/8/25.  Customer's issues are roof drip edge overhanging.  This is a roofing issue, and we suggest customer have a roofer correct the non-guttering issue.

      How does an existing drip edge/facia give your outfit a license to do sloppy work that does not work?

      How does that poor excuse make if acceptable for your service tech/supervisor to not even call me back, and explain to me why they will not address the issue that THEY caused, by their sloppy sub-standard work.

      False advertising, commercial says no more climbing ladders .I have to Clime ladder to clean out behind deflector ,if I don't I will get water damage in soffit .

       I am rejecting this response because: They guarantee no clog gutter, never have to climb on roof to unclog gutters lifetime guarantee. This is on both their website now as well as their TV commercials (on now) and when a sales rep comes to sell you a very expensive gutter system that NEVER gets clogged assures you will never happen or they will come out free of charge and fix it. *SEE BOTH WEBESITE ADVERTISING AND TV COMMERCIAL for proof/example. I want my gutters cleaned, FREE OF CHARGE, every year if their system doesn't work per the "LIFETIME NO CLOG GUARANTEE".

This is a fraudulent practice used by LeafFilter to sell their systems and then not cover the "CLOG FREE-LIFETIME WARRANTY" They want to charge for annual maintenance to remove debris their systems DOESN'T pass, and charge $79-90 or more to come fix this. I was told they would only come if they charged me this fee.
