  I drove my damaged flash drive to Middletown, thinking the repairs were local. Had I known they shipped out to OH(?) I probably would not have used them. I’m glad I didn’t know. Chris was professional and responsive, fair on pricing, and I just downloaded my data via 7Zip. Yes it’s expensive. Technology’s a B, but I will be referring Salvagedata to others.

  Working with SalvageData made my entire data recovery process easy. My old external drive died after a power surge.
  When you reach out to them they’ll assign you an agent and ask questions to determine what’s wrong. If you decide to move forward with them they’ll connect you with FedEx and cover the shipping etc.
  Once they determine the issues they’ll evaluate the percentage of recovery possible. At best it’ll be all of it, at worst … well you know.
  Dustin made the process incredibly easy. I received my recovered data within 6.5 weeks on an SSD that I sent with the original HDD.
  Although I hope to never experience this again personally and/or professionally as I improve my data managing processes - The peace of mind I had in working with the Salvage Data team made the entire experience enjoyable.

  I’m so happy with the service from SalvageData! They were able to accomplish what other companies said was impossible. After my iPhone 13 shut down, I had a year worth of pictures & videos that I had lost on the nonfunctional phone with no way to retrieve them, according to apple. I only found 2 companies that claimed they could recover the data off my phone, and SalvageData was able to do it at a quarter of the price of their competitor. Not only did they successfully recover all of my lost pictures and videos, they also sent my iPhone back to me in working condition with all of my data still on it! My case manager, Hugh, was great to work with. He was confident in their abilities to recover my data and very attentive & responsive with all of my questions throughout the process.

  This company was great to work with. They were very efficient and were able to retrieve the information I needed from a corrupted USB. My rep, Dustin, explained the entire process, was easy to reach and readily available to answer all my questions.

  Put my SD card into my computer from my camera and it showed no photos. Put it back into the camera and it said it couldn’t be read. Took a chance on my daughter’s advice to try data recovery. So glad I did! Worth every penny. We recovered every single photo. Great service.

  The service was great. When Receiving a report the technician was friendly and gave an excellent breakdown of what went wrong and the recovery process. Thankfully my data was recovered and returned in a timely manner as well.

  It takes a lot of faith to send important photos to an unknown recipient 2500 miles away and hope they can be recovered from a tiny damaged SD card. (I was dealing with a "card unreadable" error coming from a SD card that had important photos on it.)This team at SalvageData went above and beyond to offer data rescue! I had a caseworker (George) who was the most helpful, communicative, personable and reliable human who answered my inquiry placed through the website. He offered me assurances that were balanced against a realistic set of expectations and a pricing construct that made this unfortunate data situation affordable to manage. I must add that I live in ********* ****** (near ***** headquarters) and certainly there were many local options. However, SalvageData was able to help me in record time for a fair price. They helped faster than any of my local options and more affordably than my local options. I downloaded my recovered data and I am so grateful. The entire experience has been exceptional and I am relieved (but not surprised) to have trusted the right company in this scenario.
