  I was also ripped off. On May 22, 2023 ReCell.io promised $90 for my iPhone XR but never paid. No responses to my follow-up inquiries. Now their website has disappeared. Bottom feeders.

  I never received my payment. I sent my iPhone 8 Plus to this company and got an email on May 16 saying the inspection passed and my payment would be generated within the next 7 days. I emailed Ariel June 17 asking about the status of my payment but have not got a response. Highly on the fence of filing a Police Report and taking it from there.

  I, too, have never received my check for a mint condition iPhone 13 pro. Over 600 dollars! Emails aren’t returned and phone line is disconnected. I hadn’t been worried because I had this problem the last time and they apologized profusely and sent me a check straight away. Hoping they can make this right a second time and I’d gladly change my score as they’ve been a pleasure up until this point.

  THIS COMPANY DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR TBH. I SENT THEM MY IPHONE 12 BACK IN THE BEGINNING OF MAY. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION STATING THE PHONE WAS RECEIVED 5/12/23. THE OFFERED LESS THAN MY QUOTE. I DECLINED THE OFFER AT FIRST BUT THEN, THEY OFFERED ME MORE ON 5/15/23, SO I ACCEPTED. WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE MY CHECK WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS. IT WASNT MAILED ON TIME, I CONTINUED TO EMAIL THEM AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS A DELAY ON PAYMENTS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO BUSY. MY CHECK WAS FINALLY MAILED ON 5/30/23. I DEPOSITED THE CHECK ON 6/12/2023 AND ON 6/14/2023 SAW THAT THE CHECK WAS RETURNED. I CONTACTED MY BANK AND WAS TOLD IT WAS RETURNED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. IVE BEEN SENDING THIS COMPANY EMAILS EVERYDAY SINCE AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE AT ALL. I LOST OUT ON MONEY AND MY PHONE!

  They stole my cell phone. I am considering filing a police report. They offered $340 for it, then when the got it, they reduced the price to $250, so I asked for it back THREE weeks ago, and I have not heard from them since, despite numerous calls. ReCell is a scam!

  They received my phone 8 weeks ago and no payment has been received. Keep saying they sent check that never received or sent PayPal payment that doesn’t show up. Feel like an idiot for not googling them first since I’m seeing now that payment is unlikely and it’s a full on scam.

  It is more than 4 weeks now and no sign of check in the mail! Their customer service just copy pastes responses from a standard template without addressing the issue. $705 worth phone, my next step is to file a police report.

  Went on advertisement from Business called ******, that recell.io will buy your phone, send you a check based upon condition of phone. They send you an email on how to clear out your phone, how to package it, print off address and insert a second print off of condition of phone and payment amount with bar code for an easy process. They are to send you an email after they receive it. According to USPS, I sent my phone on March 23rd. It arrived in Canton Ohio on March 30th. Never received email. I reached out on April 16, 2023 through email. IPhone 8 Plus (RED) in original case with all materials when purchased brand new. Asking if they received it, and to be contacted, or when I will receive payment for phone. No response. I again emailed on April 20th. No response. I have waited I believe long enough for some type of response and payment of my phone. If my phone doesn’t meet your standards, please return it so I can go to a different business. I have used ****** before with no problems and had my payment in a matter of days. This in my opinion is bad business practices. You don’t do as you describe in your one email that I did receive, when choosing your business to buy my phone. I have print off of your email, amount and all texts from USPS. Please send phone back or check. Thank you
