    HAD EXTRA RECEPTICLES PUT IN THE BATHROOM AN KITCHEN AND A RECEPTICLE PUT IN BASEMENT FOR A **** PUMP AND AIR PURIFIER AND THE LIGHT FIXTURES IN THE BASEMENT UPDATED SO THEY WOULD BE CONTROLED WITH SWITCHES. BASEMENT RECEPTICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A DOUBLE RECEPTICLE NOT A SINGLE. HAD RECEPTICLE PUT IN ****** AND THEY BROUGHT THE WIRING THROUGH THE ***** AND THE BACK THRU THE **** RIGHT BESIDE THE GAS LINE TO MY STOVE. THEY RAN THE ELECTRICAL LINE THRU A PLASTIC TUBE.. THE RECEPTICLE IN THE BATHROOM THEY DRILLED THRU THE BASEBOARD THEN TRYING TO GO THRU THE **** AND DIDNT SAY ANYTHING. DIDNT EVEN CLEAN UP THE MESS. LEFT WOOD SHAVINGS ALL OVER THE BASEMENT DRILLNG THRU FLOOP JOIST TO RUN WIRES FOR THE BASEMENT LIGHT UPGRADE. THE RECEPTICLE IN THE BASEMENT FOR THE **** PUMP AND BATTERY BACKUP AND THE AIR PURIFIER WAS PLUGGED INTO A 3 WAY ADAPTER WHICH THE WEIGHT OF THOSE TWO PLUGS CAUSED IT TO SAG WHICH WOULD HAVE EVENTUALLY DAMAGED THE RECEPTICLE. 2 RECEPTICLES SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT IN INSTEAD OF JUST ONE.. WONT BE USING BLIND AGAIN. AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TOME WE HAVE HAD THEM DO WORK FOR US. THE GUYS THAT *** THE WORK WERE NOT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

    The tech who came out to do a routine maintenance check and cleaning on my furnace (that had no signs of anything being wrong) told me I needed $6900 in parts replacements, even quoting for a replacement of the heat exchanger. When he handed me the iPad to sign, I thought I was signing off to acknowledge his visit, only later to look at everything and see that I signed off that my furnace was condemned -- yet he left without telling me that I had to shut it down and not use the furnace until the heat exchanger or the entire furnace was replaced. I called the repair service that I have under an optional warranty plan and that tech came out and told me that only the capacitor should be replaced and everything else was normal. Don't trust Blind.

    I was having trouble with my toilet not flushing. I expected them to replace the works in the toilet. They charged me 120 service fee and when they quoted me over 500 to fix the the toilet I thought that hightway robbery. Had Miracle Plumbing come out and they fixed the problem for a lot less!!

    We have been with blind and son's since they installed entire new **** system including all new duct work in 2017. Each time a technician came out it was always trying to upsell additions to our system that they were never able to explain why we needed them. Fast forward to April of 2024 when they were out to service our air conditioner. Our **** system is in the attic. Everything went well, so we thought. A week or so ago I happened to go into the spare bedroom which isn't used much. I notice water damage on the ceiling. Of course we needed to investigate the attic. The first thing we notice is the main drain line to our ac unit is not attached. Now, the last person who was in the attic was the blind and son's technician. Then we notice evidence of water in the drain pan under the unit which should never have water in it unless there is a problem with the system. We just had our roof that was put in 2 years ago inspected as that is part of our warranty. No issues were found at that time with the roof. There also was no evidence of a roof leak. We had servpro out to help identify how much of a problem we had due to the leak and to confirm the leak was around the area of the hvac system drain pan. Serv pro technician verified that was the source of the leak. We have no pipes in the attic. We called blind and son's and we are obviously not happy. **** *******, service technician came out to perform the maintenance service on our furnace and also completely investigate if there was any other issue with the ac that would cause water to have been in the drain pan. He took the time to explain everything to us and was very thorough. He concluded that the disconnected drain line was the source of the leak and took steps to insure it wouldn't happen again. **** redeemed blind and son's in our eyes as we were going to leave them when our warranty of the **** system is up. We will be sure that he performs any further maintenance on our system

    I would give them zero stars if possible. This is the worst company. They have destroyed the consistent comfort of my home and put my wifes health at risk with her COPD. I had a 5-ton AC unit and a 120K BTU furnace. They replaced them with a 3-ton AC unit and a 90K BTU furnace. When I inquired, very skeptical about the sizing, I was told that efficiency had progressed enough in 25 years that these sizes would be satisfactory. They claimed it would provide the same heating and cooling results as my 25-year-old 5-ton and 120K BTU system, with additional energy savings. However, these savings are also proving to be questionable. The salesperson guaranteed that the sizing was correct.The reality: On July 21st, when it was 94 degrees outside, my unit could not keep up and was lagging by 6 to 8 degrees, both in various rooms and at the thermostat. I called Blind], they said, "Oh, a lot of people have called with that problem." I should have known then that they obviously sold other undersized units. After two calls to Blind, I was told that someone would evaluate my specs and contact me. No one ever followed up. AVOID these people.If anyone else is experiencing the same problem when the temperatures are in the 90s and Blind ignores them, and you would like to take legal action, please post on ******** with the heading "Blind and Sons Action." I will search daily for people who have been misled by this company and are interested in pursuing legal action. There must be many customers scammed by this company, considering the response I got when I first contacted them about inadequate AC: "Oh, a lot of people have called saying that."Be sure to document the dates, times, outside temperatures, and indoor settings, along with the shortfall degrees your AC or heating unit is unable to maintain. This will be important if you want to move forward with legal action. I look forward to hearing from other customers who have been sold inadequate equipment by this company.

    Have absolute terrible customer service. Scheduled appointments should always take priority over emergency calls. I should not be made to feel like my issue is not important because of a storm that caused them to get flooding/sewage emergency calls. Having a malfunctioning water heater is as much of a problem as the flooding/sewage calls from a storm and I should not have been called to cancel my appointment because of the number of emergency calls that were received. That is a terrible way to run a business especially when I only scheduled the appointment with them because they installed the water heater less than 2 years ago and it shouldn't be having issues this soon after install.
