      Like many others, I was approached by a representative while waiting in line. She offered a one-time "skip the line" trial. I made it very clear that I did not want to be charged for any memberships and would only proceed if it was a one-time offer of skipping the line. The representative assured me it was. Yet, less than three weeks later, I was charged a $199 annual membership fee. No one answers at the call center, so now Im left disputing the charge through my credit card company.

      CLEAR is worst than a scam. They made me and my party of five lose our flight. They open a case, emailed me promising to review and respond within 72 hrs. That was over ten days ago. Just from the reviews here they should do humanity a favor and just go out of business.

      I wasnt able to rent a truck from ********** because of issues with the CLEAR system. It kept rejecting my photo, claiming there was a glare even though that wasnt the case. CLEAR **************** was useless, and the entire process was completely automated and full of bugs. Its really disappointing to see a major company like ********** rely on a system as unreliable as CLEAR.

      Awful. I canceled my membership by phone over a year ago (it's not useful at all even for frequent travelers, especially if you fly anywhere other than the 3 or 4 big cities where they're located) and they continued to charge my card. When I noticed it and tried to get a refund, they refused. It took me 45 minutes to get through to a "person" on the website chat and when I asked to speak to a manager they said someone would call me. They never did. I then tried to reach someone by phone, and waited 20 minutes before leaving my number for a callback. No callback. Meanwhile, I received "escalation" emails from bots who simply quoted their cancelation policy over and over, without acknowledging my complaint that I had previously canceled or the fact that I haven't used the service since I originally canceled (which shows I am not trying to game the system or just having buyer's remorse). I fly at least once a month for work out of ATL and Clear just isn't worth it. Even if I was iffy about it, their horrible customer service is worse than waiting in a standard security line.

      Ive been a member since 2017. This service is getting worse the longer its around. Very inconsistent directions between locations. Doesnt save time nowadays. I will not be renewing. Cant say enough bad about it at this point.

      May I have a suggestion? Could you please fire all the clear staff in ***********? I was going to general boarding and blocked by your staff. She kept me from boarding and enforced me to do registration and use clear service. I nearly missed my flight!I had to made excuse and say, I registered once before to get rid of her. If this is how you CLEAR play the game, no registration or not allowed to go general boarding, you are in big trouble now. I will write everywhere regarding this nasty experience. Who gave her right to block the passenger from boarding?The CLEAR staff at *********** is very rude, very unprofessional, very nasty. And all of them should resign. And I request a formal ********** wondering why you are F in BBB. And I will never use CLEAR since your very rude harassment at the airport.

      Today April 3 rd 2025 I was in ************************** terminal 5 for security clearance I was standing there more than 10 minutes the line was not moving at all a lady with covered face talking something and I was having global entry I just skip that clear line went through global entry everything done within a minute please people dont buy clear its simply a waist and not at all help, better take global entry or tsa pre much easier and helpful, this clear have some kiosk they always showing error you need to do 10 times

      Very unprofessional staff, will never get a membership because of this. I had to walk through security at ******* ****** with a member of staff and he made very rude comments to me for no reason.

      Same story as a lot of the reviews I read. Was coerced into signing up while being told it was free. Got a $200 charge just a few weeks later. Luckily my creditor flagged it as fraud and did not authorize it. This service is also mostly redundant if you have TSA Pre check. Selling a pointless service, under false pretenses, targeting people they know are in a hurry and wont question them much. This goes beyond scamming, these folks are running a criminal enterprise at this point.

      We got redirected by an official-looking lady at the ***********, who made us fill a few screens to "skip the line". She NEVER mentioned a paying membership. Two weeks later, we noticed on our credit card statement a charge of $318, no less. Are you ### kidding me? This is a severe form of SCAM and this was approved by the ***? I should get my money back (I think?), but only because I am vigilant about credit card transactions. Never, ever, trust those ClearMe folks.
