Hello, I was charged roughly $186 for an annual subscription I had no clue I was charged for prior to the charge on April 15th. Apparently I do not fall under refund policy yet I had no prior notification or anything from the company. I was rudely told off and not given any help for this resolution. I would like a full refund.

I signed up for a free trial with Skillshare and made sure to cancel it on the last day because I was not satisfied with the service. Despite canceling on time and clearly choosing not to continue, I was still charged for a full years subscription totaling $167.88 without my authorization. Since then, Ive contacted customer support multiple timesat least five attemptsto request a proper refund, and each time theyve tried to offer me a gift card instead. Im extremely disappointed with how this has been handled. I canceled in good faith and did not consent to being charged, and I expect a full refund, not store credit for a service I chose to leave.

I decided to try Skillshares services in 2023, I did not find it useful so before the discounted trial period ended I cancelled. I year later in April 2024 I was charged for their services at full price, I contacted customer support and told them that I was sure I had cancelled the prior year, they told me I hadnt but that they will close the account then. I asked if they could also issue me a refund since I had no intention of using their services going forward, they told me no because the subscription had already been renewed and that I would still have access to the services until the end of the year. I was very frustrated with this response since I really had no desire to use them any further but I wanted the matter to be over so I left it that and moved on. Now its 2025 and I was charged again and basically having the same conversations with customer support as last year. The horrible part is that they are lying about having communicating with me last year and I cleaned out my emails thinking that the matter was resolved and I wouldnt have to have them as proof this year. After some research I noticed that this was an extremely common occurrence with other customers who gave ********************** a try. They have hundreds of complaints against them for this same reason and it is in the publics best interest that more people know about their predatory business practices and Skillshare should be forced to give refunds to the customers that deserve them.

I paid for a year of a Skillshare and never used it. I forgot about the subscription and apparently was sent one email reminding me that it would renew on 4/2/25 and that Id be charged $165 on 4/3/25. That email went to my junk folder so I didnt see it. I became aware of the charge through ****** on 4/3 as soon as it was processed and I immediately contacted Skillshare via email (they dont have a contact number) and asked for a refund as I have never used it and cancelled it the day I was charged. They refused via a form letter that was sent immediately. I asked again in a more demanding tone and they offered to renew my membership and refund me half of the money. Before I had a chance to respond they said they closed the case. I sent them a final request and they never responded. I still havent used their service and I want a full refund. My correspondence is attached. If you need anything else, please let me know. Thanks.

-Free trial was set to end on 4/10/2025. Had many trial end warning emails stating the April 10 date very clearly. -Received an email at 8:03 pm on 4/9/2025, stating I was charged and welcoming me to Skillshare. This email was dated 4/10/2025 despite me receiving it on 4/9. -Charge amount is $167.88 for a year membership -Sent multiple support ticket messages. First time, they replied asking for screenshots of an email. I sent the screenshots and forwarded the evidentiary email to ********************************* Today received another email that because they havent heard back from me, the support ticket is now closed.
