My ********** account was hacked. It somehow now has a negative balance and they keep emailing saying they're going to sell my assets to bring the account current if I don't make a deposit. They do not offer any phone support. I have used the chat feature and sent emails. I keep getting the same automated response saying someone will be in touch and then nothing.Business Response

I sold some stocks at Public.com in Dec 2024. I was able to withdraw $100 and deposited to my external checking account on *******. Then I I tried to send another fund transfer request for remaining balance in account at **********************. They need to verify my checking account information. I had been waiting for weeks and ended up they requested me to send them a copy of my ID (driver license) and bank statement to verify the $100 deposit was actually posted on the same checking account.I submitted a copy of my ID and screenshot of bank statement. They came back to request a copy of bank statement in PDF format. I feel like this is unreasonable and I am doubt if they have a legal right to ask customer to provide ********* statement. Those are all sensitive and private information. I found some complaints from others have similar situation and the issue was resolved.
