This is a very interesting business model - steal from your customers! Like countless others, I have not been paid the cash out that they promised over a month ago. There really is no excuse for this, no matter what challenges they claim to be having. It is just outright theft.Review fromSeth S

Something is not right with thd financial status of this place. Do not give them your assets. I sold my furniture and have been waiting over a month for payout from checkbook.io. Each email I send to support has a template response and says they are having delays with cashouts and do not currently have an eta. Also, their customer support lines have been disconnected. Something isnt right. Im disappointed as I had a positive experience with them a year ago.Kaiyo, if you are reading this. Please help.Kaiyo

I love Kaiyo's concept but their execution is TERRIBLE! I gave them a Rove Concepts couch that apparently sold immediately but I never received any notice of it until I happened to log in to my account and saw that it sold. I then requested a cashout, which was supposed to arrive in 7-10 business days but a month later I have not seen a dime. I've reached out to customer service twice and they are useless- they've told me "there's no ETA at the moment". Why wouldn't they just give the seller the money the buyer paid and take their cut. There's no reason sellers should not be getting their earnings quickly. I hope an upcoming competitor is taking note of all these complaints because a company like this is great if it's executed well.Kaiyo

I have cashed out on a B&B Italia sofa that sold for $1750 and have yet to receive payment in spite of having gotten an email saying I would get an email from CHeckbookIO. They do not answer the phone or respond to emails.Kaiyo

They sold three listings for me. One of them delivered and I still did not get the checkbook e-mail to receive my payment. The other two listings were sold but still pending delivery according to them or they are not entering the information in the system that they were delivered so they can delay the payment. I have called many times and no straight answers and now they don't even answer the phones. When I e-mailed them they have the same vague excuse not to address the problem and send my payments. This is the second time that I am selling my furniture with Kaiyo which are worth thousands of dollars high and furniture. Their phones are being answered from overseas not even in the states. I am extremely dissatisfied, I am sure there are stronger words to describe my experience with this company.Kaiyo

I gave a sectional to Kaiyo, they sold it, and I cashed-out over $900. I have not received payment, and like others, I have called, emailed and texted Kaiyo but there is no response. They are stealing money from me.Kaiyo

I ordered 3 pieces from Kaiyo on July 6 and they immediately charged my car $2,064.42. On July 10 they said there was an error with the delivery address which was fixed and confirmed July 11. Since then they have not responded to any emails Ive sent asking for updates and delivery dates, and when you call their phone number (over and over again) it just says nobody is available and hangs upno ability to leave a message. So I sent a note suggesting we just cancel the order as they are not responsive and I have no idea if my order will ever be delivered. The 1 star reviews are legitimateI ignored, and am very sorry for it now.Kaiyo

They sell your furniture and you find they sold and delivered it but didnt pay me. I opted for cash out. Several excuses. They said payment would be July 19 didnt happen. No excuses. Do not trust them. Many complaints on line about payments .Review fromLee G

Mixed Results A few crucial complaints I used or tried to use their pick up item services as opposed to delivery regarding 1 item...It was this past Saturday Scheduling between 9 to 3...I got there to their ********* Warehouses at 2:10....Offices Door was locked...There was a warehouse bay that was up but I didn't want to risk going there and be wrongly seen as a trespasser of sorts.I didn't know what to do so I left the Kaiyo grounds but parked my car nearby; and tried calling but after getting a we're closed type recording on calling, I repeatedly * Mailed Kaiyo Support but nobody got back...A rep name ****** did * Mail me earlier in the day about office closed between 12 to 1 for lunch but like I said I was there 2:10...After not getting a reply by phone or e mail then of course I entirely took off...On calling Monday ******** tells me there's a buzzer near the door...I'm not denying that there was a bell buzzer; I just didn't see it..I'd therefore suggest that when Support * Mails customers scheduled for pick *** that there at lunch, how about adding that if on arriving during office in hours, if the door is locked..Ring Bell?Know what too I would think the offices there have cameras so they could see who is on their grounds....?..Assuming the office was in fact still open before 3..I'm open to being told what I may have been in the wrong about regarding everything I described; but in meantime;I must say that was an Uncalled For Fully Shabby Saturday with regard to Kaiyo ************** Services -----------------------------------------...Update Tuesday 3/12/24 I just had a Delivery Today...Satisfied with the furniture item...The Deliverers were okay overall; although in ******* thru the bedroom arch with the furniture piece they came potentially close to ripping the entrance structure...Not the 1st time regarding close call; ****** has been here before and is rather careless in atitude and serviceKaiyo

i ordered several pieces of furniture. i had a delivery date scheduled. two days before the delivery date, they emailed me to say that they needed to reschedule. i had rescheduled my entire work schedule to get that to work, but ok, fine. i rescheduled for 3 weeks later because of their limited delivery availability. the morning of the new delivery date, within the window that they had picked for me, they texted me to say that they couldn't make the delivery, with no explanation. no one answered the phone or any of my texts. horribly run. i don't recommend to anyone. i have now spent thousands of dollars and several weeks without any furniture and have no confidence i will ever get the pieces i ordered.Kaiyo
