    This "******************* Protection" film or product is a SCAM! It helps NOTHING! but dealers want to sell it and promise a windshield repair if something happened. If the dealership does not know much and did not explain correctly - I consider them committing together with this company manufacturer - a scam against car buyers, and, especially women. After a few months of a driving my new Bolt EUV 2023 I got lots of pits (which is not mentioned in paperwork by third insurance company ********************** Systems at all) and a star (approx 2 inch). This coating and insurance was sold for $700!!!! and helped nothing. The pits are a very small tiny chips. The star is pretty big. The insurance wanted for me to drive around and find who ever can repair this star. NOBODY wanted to touch it. Waste of time and WASTE of money. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

    Crystal Fusion's windshield product is designed to help drivers see when they struggle most, in inclement weather and night time driving. It is an ultra-hydrophobic coating which helps resist glare and keeps the windshield operating at peak performance. Glass is a fragile material and no product will resist damage entirely. While there are a number of warranties offered by Crystal fusion, non will protect against sandblasting, which is what this sounds like. If there is/was a "star" on the windshield, and the repair coverage was selected, this would be a covered incident. We are unable to verify this based on the information provided.

    DO NOT BUY! It is incredible that this type of business is legal! Crystal Fusion Technologies is a SCAM! This was sold to ** by the dealership with little to no information at the time of signing. As a matter of fact, in the contract that I signed, there is no mention that the claims have to be made in 72hrs. The product does not work, my windshield cracked on the first impact. I tried to make a claim and the lady who picked up the call denied the claim in a matter of seconds stating that claims need to be reported within 72 hours of the incident. To make matters worst, you are not even allowed to pick a place to repair the windshield, they pick it for you. After denying the claim, I received an email saying that if I fix the windshield the product needs to be reapplied in ****************************************** the warranty. Be aware if you purchase a vehicle in ******, ** it looks like these guys are connected to the Park Place dealers. I also asked the lady for information and their policies and she denied it, saying that their job is only to "resolve" claims.

    Crystal Fusion Technologies is filed in every state with the ***** of ********* and ********* ** ***** in order to comply with all applicable laws pertaining to warranties. While we do understand the frustration when a claim is denied, we must adhere to the terms and conditions clearly stated on the warranty (see attached). Crystal Fusion has processed millions of warranties over the past 22 years for satisfied customers who follow the terms and conditions of the warranty.

    Similar experience with the ******************************************* the warranty. Why not put the 72 Hour claim requirement on the main page 1 of the Limited Warranty Agreement as it seems to be a reoccurring issue with many claimants. I echo the concerns the company thrives on denying claims. During my initial claim the lady said I could file another claim before my warranty term expired. So a few months later I had another chip. I called in the next day and they refused my claim because I had not replaced the windshield. I said the previous damage was not bad enough to require replacement and they said I must to have the warranty reinstated. They emailed me a form that stated if I had the windshield replaced it need to have Crystal Fusion reapplied for the warranty to be valid again. No where in the agreement could I find where I was required to replace or repair damage to maintain my warranty agreement. I was never asked to have my windshield inspected or take pictures to show them the damage unless I had the windshield replaced. I would not even give 1 star but it was required to open the review.Part of the blame goes on the sellers of this product as the dealer never told us about the 72 hour claim time limit either. They have since dropped Crystal Fusion due to so many customer complaints and no warranty satisfaction.

    As with any warranty, there are terms and conditions that must be met in order for a claim to be processed. Our warranty is registered in every state who scrutinize the accuracy and legality of the terms and conditions stated on the warranty. We approve and replace thousands of windshields for customers on a monthly basis where the terms and conditions are followed. While we appreciate the opinions and understand dissatisfaction regarding a denied claim, we must adhere to the terms and conditions set forth on the warranty.

    Their response obviously does not address the issue of having to replace a windshield after a denied claim to maintain the warranty. It is not in my copy of the warranty.

    Terrible company, cant find a number or talk to anyone and 72 hour policy is impossible when your windshield is chipped on a Friday in ***** heat. Garbage, do not buy this warranty.

    We understand the frustration of a denied claim, However Crystal Fusion is obligated to follow the terms and conditions on the warranty which are clearly stated on the reverse side of the document. Should damage occur when our offices are closed(such as weekends) the 72-hour rule does not take into account those 2 days. In this instance the claim was filed through our web portal on 6/21, with the damage occurring on 6/10 (11 days over). Our phone can be found by a ****** search and is clearly stated on the warranty in 3 locations. We have advised the customer to send proof of the new windshield install and also the new complimentary Crystal Fusion application in order to keep the warranty valid for future claims.

    They customer service is the worst you can encounter as customers service. I had to replace my windshield twice; the fist time service was bad and the second time was a nightmare. Please stay away from them. Looking forward to trading my car to get out of that service.

    Crystal Fusion prides itself on world class customer service. The customer has filed 2 claims with ********************************************* and the windshield 's were replaced and recalibrated according to the warranty terms. We always attempt to find the most convenient location for replacement, however the glass shops must be certified and guarantee the install. Unfortunately there was a toll road the customer needed to take and therefore a $20 fee for the toll. We were unaware of the dissatisfaction, as this claim was handled the same day and dispatched to the glass shop as was the first claim. We understand the frustration when damage occurs to a valued asset. We continue to do our very best to accommodate each situation.

    I agree with all of the reviews about this company! We were also pushed to purchase the windshield coating when we bought our vehicle in August 2022. We were told to contact the dealer if any chips occured, we were not told that we needed to contact Crystal Fusion. My windshield was hit by a rock on the freeway and the ding quickly spread across the windshield within hours. I contacted the dealer 2 days after this happened. They told me that I needed to contact ****** finance to put in a claim. I called ****** finance the same day, but they were closed so I left a voice-mail. I didn't receive a call back the next day so I called again the day after that. ****** finance didn't understand what I was talking about but gave me a claim number anyway. My car was going in for service the next day ********* finance told me to have the service department send them the report on the damage to the windshield. When the service was complete, the service department told me that they do not do anything with Crystal Fusion claims so I need to contact them. I called the very next day, but they were closed. I continued calling and finally got through, only to be told that because I did not report it within 72 hours, they will not cover it! I feel totally frustrated and taken advantage of. I will never recommend this company!

    I feel that I have been sold a false warranty on my windshield. The information to contact the company was not provided in an accessible way, nor was the 72 hour window to file a claim. The only point of contact on my printed warranty was a phone number at the bottom of one of the 4 pages. This took me three times of looking at the warranty to even find. The website was nowhere to be found. I made every attempt during a busy work week to contact Crystal Fusion and get a claim started. Once the claim was filed, five days after the incident, Crystal Fusion contacted us and denied the claim based on being beyond the 72 hour window. If the product is something they stand by, why was all of the information to contact the company so difficult to access? Why would two extra days make the product unable to be guaranteed? Crystal Fusion needs to take steps to make this information clearly accessible to dealerships and customers alike to avoid situations like this. I was told that if their product didnt prevent damage to the windshield, that the company would take care of it. Crystal Fusion should replace my window as I was told they would.

    The Crystal Fusion Technologies information is clearly stated in bold print on the Front of the first page, which includes the address and toll free phone number. In addition, the claims phone number is listed twice on the second page and twice on the third page. The 72 hour exists as the warranty is a repair and/or replace. If it can be repaired it will, and we need the opportunity to repair it in a timely manner before spreading into crack. As with all warranties, terms and Conditions must be adhered to. Our warranty is registered in every state in the U.S. for compliance to these terms and Conditions.

    I bought the windshield warranty with my new car. In two years I have had three incidents of rocks hitting my car and causing windshield damage. The first one they tried to fill the 'star' that the hit caused. The second time the windshield actually had a crack so it was replaced. I did what I was asked, I returned to the dealership and had the coating reapplied. In less than a year, I had another rock hit. I was in *******, far away from home, so I waited to call when I returned home to submit a claim. I was not aware of the 72 hour window. SO, my claim was denied. I do not believe this product prevents damage to your windshield. While I did not know the 72 hour rule, I was very upset about my claim being refused. I am not sure what to do. If my windshield needs to be replaced now, and I pay for it out of pocket, does that cancel my Crystal Fusion warranty? I cannot get a straight answer. This product is not worth it.

    Company has become difficult to deal with. After using their product on several vehicles I will never use again. They refuse to pay for the entire bill leaving customers hanging.

    I agree with all other reviewers (not sure what it takes to push auto industry to rethink the use of this product and company, but I figured another negative review here would help). I opened a claim on Dec 9th for a chip that occurred on Dec 8th. According to Crystal Fusion, my report entered online indicates that my occurrence actually happened on Dec 1st which is outside the warranty window. The site clearly states the 72-hour window, so I was very aware and would not have intentionally entered a date that would not allow me to make the claim. Second, people make mistakes and they have "no solution" for correcting errors (if that indeed happened as I have no record of the entry). As I have had my car for 6 months, I would say the product does not help for chips (as I obviously got one quite quickly) and secondly, I would not bother investing in their insurance if this is their standard customer treatment. Finally, for anyone else reading this, I think it would be great to lobby your local dealership/car manufacturer against this product because at the moment, in addition to being completely disheartened by this company, I am also mad at Lexus for pushing the product (I will be sharing this feedback with them as well as I am part of one of their advisory committees).!

    Crystal Fusion is filed with the ********** of ********* in every state as well as the Secretary of State. We abide by the Terms and Conditions clearly written on the warranty. We cannot make exceptions of these Terms and conditions as they are regulated. Our web portal allows the consumer to enter the date of occurrence (without a drop down) and then asks a second time for to make sure the entry is accurate. We are sorry to hear of your frustration however we process thousands of claims for customers with no incident.
