First Premier Home Warranty - Final Administrative Order - Oklahoma
On March 26, 2024, the Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) issued a Cease-and-Desist Order against First Premier Home Warranty Corp. for unauthorized sale of home warranty contracts in Oklahoma. The OID initiated an investigation following complaints from consumers regarding the sale of unlicensed home warranty plans in Oklahoma. Civil penalties in the amount of $9,495.00 were imposed by OID and paid by First Premier Home Warranty.On September 11, 2024, Oklahoma Insurance Department issued the company a home service contract provider registration, and OID withdrew the Cease-and-Desist Order on October 18, 2024.

MN Dept. of Commerce Announces Consent Order with First Premier Home Warranty: https://www.cards.commerce.state.mn.us/enforcement-actions
On July 17, 2024, the Minnesota Department of Commerce announced that it had reached a settlement with First Premier Home Warranty over allegations that the company solicited, sold, and issued service contracts in Minnesota while unregistered. First Premier Home Warranty was issued a service contract provider registration on May 31, 2024 by Minnesota. The company agreed to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $2,500, cease and desist from any future violations of Minn. Stat. Ch. 59B, and pay all investigative costs in the amount of $90.
