I wish i could give them a no star review. I have been having to use them for a settlement I got when I was younger. Recently I had to change some info on it for mailing and direct deposits and stuff like that. They have been nothing but a pain in my backside and haven't helped in any way what so ever and ever time I call they give me a ring around. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if possible DO NOT go with them, what ever you do!!!! They are nothing but a headache and in it for themselves and not their customers!

Very inept. I was transferred 4x and was never able to file a claim. They do not listen and I recommend people go with a company that has **************** answering questions.

Worst company to deal with everything is overseas, no one speaks English. Their website has been down for 3 days and no one can give me a direct answer, just we are working on it. Called first day and was told we will send a email or a phone call to advise, nothing yet it's been 3 days. Called on day 2 same thing we have a ticket for you to respond (nothing).Called on Day 3 still nothing from them except we know there is a problem. Funny how it is time to reinvest some of my investments and now I can't even look at anything. I have $200,000.00 invested with them and can't speak to one english speaking person to fix the issue. Wondering if they were hacked and now all my life savings are gone. Will not let me leave a Zero Star.

DO NOT TRUST PRUDENTIAL FINANCIAL COMPANY PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU HAND YOUR MONEY THAT YOU SWEAT FOR IT TO THEM My wife passed July 2018 ( 6 years ago ) and had 401 K with 2 different financial company . As her husband I had notarized documents being in title to get her retirement money FOR MY KIDS. First company with no problem released money to my kids , BUT Prudential try so hard to keep this money and took me 3 years and finally they asked court letter , I asked my son to fallow up and get it from court and Prudential always find something to reject , meanwhile every time in court would cost $200 and few month to send documents by ****** I was just tired of them using my dead wife's money and make more money of it when my kids needed this money the most . My son finally got the letter from court and now they say 401 money now is handed to Empower which we have to start from scratch . I'M HOPING THERE WILL BE CLASS *** AGAINTS THEM AND THEY LOOSE ALL THESE MONEY THAT PEOPLE WORKED HARD FOR YEARS .

Prudential failed me miserably. Transferred my 401k over to Empower, which should have been no big deal. But didn't send all the information. Was going through my account info, noticed a large transfer of money on 11/1/23 clicked on details and site said n/a. Called Empower and asked about it, was informed that I would need to contact Prudential since they were in control of my acct. at that time. When I called they told me they had no way to look at that acct.because they transferred the info to Empower even though they saw the acct. on their computer. Asked if there was anyone that I could talk to or get help from and was just given the same bs answer, basically saying not our problem. It wouldn't be so bad if it was something small but the transfer was $36,996.79 and I have no idea if it was transferred in,out,or side to side.

These guys were fine till they decided to move my retirement over to Empower. During the change they didn't inform me beforehand that my account balance would go to $0 and a check would be cut for the transfer. I thought someone stole my $22K or they forced me to cash out like Empower did back in September with my lesser $800. Things seem up in the air these days. Anyway, they should've shown on their website I have for my login *********************************************************** that as soon as this happened on Friday, February 9, **** that it is pending transfer to Empower and to please wait 3-4 days or something like that. Instead I spent all weekend stressing and unable to sleep as you can't contact them during the weekend. Then today I spent **** hours, while at work, till I reached the 8th person, which happened to be with Prudential, who finally helped me find out what was going on. Before that it was a call the other company cycle each saying they didn't know and I should call the other. Neither Prudential or Empower prepared their call center for this?? Not good, not good at all!

I applied for *** and it's been almost six months. I have had no income and have been out of work for almost a year with mental health issues. I applied by phone on 6/27/23 and told them it was for *** AND THEY PUT IT IN AS A SHORT TERM disability. When I told them this their response was We have to do it this way first. I heard only from ***** (the first customer rep) once and she had an attitude because I called her a few times before she responded. On 9/20/23 I called again wondering what was going on and could not reach *****. I was told I had another rep named *******. I spoke with her twice that day she said oh I'm sorry it's been this tough and I will work on it right away and than silence, until I called her back in October/November about medical records being received and on 11/3/23 I called the following Monday 11/5/23 to let her know I see MR were received and she returned my call yesterday 11/14/23 that yeah they had received medical records and they needed 30 days to review. This has been a shift show. Let me just say someone with mental issues having to go through this is torture! They treat mental illness as a joke. I feel helpless but when I'm gone I left my family the reason why and who is responsible. All I have left to say just because you can't see someone hurting physically and they have mental issues listen to them don't just judge. I'm 60 years old and have suffered all my life with mental health and I just can't anymore and I Prudential does not do this to anyone else.

I was encouraged by my financial advisor to open a life insurance policy with Prudential. My financial advisor did not discuss with me all the pros and cons of this policy and I feel mislead me in her own best interests. I put in over $3000 of my money and when I became aware that this plan was not benefiting me I asked for my money to be returned to me. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service while they excused their predatory business practices and explained that there was in fact no way I could have my money back. Please do your research before opening any type of account with them for find a fiduciary so they cannot take your money and not offer a refund.

These people need to be SHUT down, as many people are still recovering from the pandemic along with life changing illnesses, I have attempted not once but twice to withdraw funds from my 401k. *** spoke with supervisors and about 15 agents within a 4 day period. We are facing a eviction and they have given me a extremely hard time once you send a document they will wait until the end of business day and tell you they need something else. Apparently they are havent had to deal with an eviction. But like there is a God up above I promise whoever is the persons who handled my request GOD will put you in that same situation and I hope the company that your funds are tied in to cause you to have panic attacks as youre doing me. Yall are horrible I dont care what other employer I move on to if they state PRUDENTIAL EMPOWERMENT is the retirement holder. I dont care if its 1% a month yall will never grow yall busy off not one red cent of mine. This company need to be investigated. They are no where near Mass mutual whom is a very great company. I HATE PRUDENTIAL WITH A PASSION. I cant wait to stop my account with yall scammers.
