Ironic that we purchased this product so that my 70+ year old husband wouldn't be up on a ladder, and today he had to go up a ladder to REPAIR their product. The lifetime warranty is a joke. The first winter after install the product popped off the gutters. We call, and they say that isn't covered under the warranty. Apparently the warranty only covers leaves not getting into the gutters. Anything else that goes wrong....it's your own problem! So, either a $99 service call plus cost of repairs or my husband is back up on the ladder. Wish I had reviewed all these negative reviews prior to purchasing. Interesting that their website has many positive reviews, but no option to submit a new one. They would not like mine!Review fromJulianna F

We finally had gutters installed in April of 2023 after being rescheduled many times. The crew ******* didn't call to reschedule, until after the date they were scheduled to do the work. We explained that we wanted them to come when one of us would be home since we have pets and they would be affected. After the work was done we were told by the crew that their ******* would come out and inspect their work. That never transpired, and there were also issues as to what was to be included per the original quote. We have had other companies and contractors do work on our home and other buildings and we have been very pleased with them. I can honestly say that I have never dealt with such a rude, unprofessional company before this one. I only wish that I had done more research before deciding to have work done by them.Review fromDebra P

After googling and calling what appeared to be a local gutter repair/installation company we started getting numerous calls per day from LeafGuard. The rep came quickly to give a quote, spent 2 hours with my spouse in a high pressure sales pitch starting with a quote of over $10K and ending with $8K. Rep appeared irritated when we did not immediately contract for the job, explaining that we were simply obtaining estimates. We ended up contracting with a local company for the exact some gutters for the entire house for $2700. BTW: The quote from LeafGuard was $8K for the back of the house only. We feel this is very deceptive adverstising which borders on SCAM.Review fromBetty D

My now 85 year old mother got LeafGuard roughly 2 years ago so she no longer had to clean out her gutters after my fathers passing. After the installation upon the first rain fall, my mother noticed the gutters were leaking in several places. After several attempts to contact LeafGuard she finally was contacted. When a representative came out, they werent there long enough to identify the issue. This was one of many times they were called back with no prevail to the issues. Then it snowed and she got ice dams that had to be chiseled away by family. She became so frustrated with the lack of professionalism and nobody was fixing her issues that she had the gutters removed and replaced with different ones. She is still paying off her ***** dollar bill for gutters that did not meet their qualifications as they claimed. We feel she should get some restitution for thiswith the many attempts to get a hold of them and nobody returning her calls. We took several videos of the damage.Review fromRodney A

InstalledLeaf Guard in May 2022. Installed quickly. First rain we had, water ran out at 1 of the corner joints. Also water dripped all along roof over patio. In June a different crew stopped to repair leak. They couldn't repair because water was standing in th gutter at that corner and needed to have more done than they were prepared for. This crew ****** was very critical of the quality of the instillation. Said the drip cap should have been replaced and gutter over patio needed drip cap. A couple of weeks later the original crew came back. They wanted to put a down spout that would run directly onto the driveway which would mean ice in the winter. I didn't let them do this and they were upset about this. They did put in another down spout that had been recommended in the original plan. The smeared caulking along the patio gutter that just made fewer but larger drips. In July they sent crew that put up new drip cap, repaired the caulking mess on patio. They poured water in the gutter after repairing and water didn't stand. Felt like the problem was solved. When it rained the corner still leaked and we had a new leak in corner by front door. I notified Leaf Guard but because it was getting into winter I didn't expect much till spring. It's now April 2023 and I call and left messages twice and have sent 3 text messages including pictures and have not received any calls or text. I agree that ice is problem also. How can the BBB give an A rating to this company.Review fromBrianna A

We contacted LeafGuard to get a quote on gutters because #1 - we needed them badly; #2 - their flyer in the mail mentioned a $100 **** gift card for a free estimate. We thought, win-win? ******* (rep) is polite as he does his whole presentation & gives the est $10,000+. We thanked him & advised that was simply too high. This is when things started getting uncomfortable. He called his supervisor to get the quote down, but I told him not to waste his time as there was no way they would cut it to a price we agree on. We had a quote for a very similar product offering the same warranties at under $5,000. He started repeating his same questions about how we liked the product & if we agreed it was worth the value he could get the price to $8,000. He planted himself in our home for an uncomfortable amount of time even after my *********** both politely advised it was too much & left the room. Eventually he left, but you know what he didn't leave behind? The form to complete for the **** gift card. I tried calling the same # I set the appointment up with because I misplaced *******'s biz ******** was hung up on twice. I tried calling from a diff ph# than the one they had in the system - suddenly I got through. I kept it simple & made no complaints, but asked for the form. He said he forwarded the info to the ********************** would be in contact. When I asked for a direct # to follow up - they don't have one. I went ahead & emailed the *************** email from the website as well to ensure my request was addressed. Guess what, it's been a **************** So disappointing. After making us uncomfortable in our own homes - you'd think the least they could do is follow through on their promo. So glad we elected to go with a local contractor. They came out at half the price, with a nearly identical product, got it installed in less than a week & had highly professional individuals from start to finish. I recommend Gutter Shutter with BNW Builder over LeafGuard any day!Review fromNanette E

LeadGuard costs a lot. Not only do we get a lot of ice buildup, but birds constantly build nests on the inside of the LeafGuard. That creates blockages. So, it doesnt work effectively. When we call the company to have them clean it out, they change a lot for their trip charge. We would have been better without going with LeafGuard.Review fromChris L

This Product is JUNK!!!!!!. The sales people promise there the best gutters out there but they don't even do what a gutter is suppose to do. a lot of ice buildup in the winter and a lot of water going over the gutters and not into the gutters. I though I was getting the best gutters there is just like the sales person said but instead I got junk so called gutters that don't do what there supposed to do. LeafGuard is a SCAM.Review fromRobert J

Excellent Product, Had Leafguard on our house in PA and just had them installed here in SC. Two guys, **** and *** completed the install in one day, took away the old gutters and took time to explain the system as there have been several upgrades since we first had them intalled in PA. Expensive, yeah, but you get what you pay for. Top mount gutter filters sound good but when soggy leaves accumulate on the they need to be cleaned off, NOT with LeafGuard.Review fromANN D
