      In 2021 I paid LeafGuard $13,500 to install new ********************* I explained to the salesman that water was coming off the roof & freezing on my cemented walkway by the front door; he said hed make sure that didnt happen with the new gutters/downspouts. The installers put a downspout in the middle of the garage door (on the cement) so instead of water freezing next to my front door walkway, it was freezing in front of the garage. (Right after ** installed the gutters in 2021 I had to call them on 3 occasions to correct mistakes; they would come & assess the problem and fix it.) My contractor who was doing inside work to accommodate my husband who couldnt walk, told me that ** should not have moved the location of the downspout and that I should tell them to put it back where it was at 1st. I had him write it down for me and he did. I relayed the information to ** in emails and texts; I called them many times and they kept giving me the runaround. After I sent a letter to their headquarters they came out on 9-22-23 and fixed the problem but charged me $1,502.18 to fix their mistake. I was afraid that if someone falls on the ice we could be sued. They should not have charged me for something they did wrong. It appears that they are taking advantage of senior citizens.

      Got new gutters from them. They installed it and didn't tell us until after that some of our soffit joist is rotting and didn't add the fascia before the gutters. When they removed the old gutters it destroyed some of the old soffits. Now we have a new gutter hanging on old broken rotting soffits joist. All thanks to a sales rep that doesn't have the to eye spot it out before and address it out to us. Instead trying to make a quick of a sale as possible. Now they want more money for them to fix a problem that they should have known about prior beforehand if they any professionalism for their work.

      Still having problems with their product as it does NOT let the rain water flow---IT COMES OVER THE GUTTERS So far leaf guard has said it is because of algae (clean your gutters -which they don't do) , new roof (another $10,000----DONE),Drains (another $4,000---done) STILL DO NOT DO AS ADVERTISED!!!!!!!! Now the line is --your facia is bad--Their trained *********************** could not see this Their rep says TOO BAD IT IS YOUR HOMES FAULT OUR PRODUCT ISN'T WORKING Maybe you should get a new home--these are ok on ****** other homes I DON'T CARE ABOUT ****** OTHER HOME I WANT MINE FIXED RIGHT OR MY MONEY FOR THESE THINGS REFUNDED THEY DO NOT WORK They must not be installed right and I have been told again that if I need them to work I will need to put out more money---Sounds like a shakedown to me I am out of money to get these things to work

      They suck! The gutters are fine until they start leaking!! The company won't come out to repair them! Scheduled on 4 different occasions to come out and repair them. Nobody has showed up and I'm still paying on them! I have had them for about 2 years. Don't get them waste of time and money!

      Had a presentation at my home today. Rep did a thorough inspection and informative presentation. Cost was insanity. He continued to ask what I wanted to pay after all their perks and reductions. Had to agree with everything today. Then he called his supervisor to see what he could do. I told him I just wanted the bottom line cost, and when it was clear I wasnt going to be given it I told him I did not agree with their tactics. I said I felt like I was being sold a timeshare that I did not want or negotiating a price on a car. He became offended, hurriedly collected his props and left in a ****. I said that he did a good presentation and I thanked him for his time. I added that I hoped he appreciated me giving him my time. He muttered something about being able to take the usual 80%rejection and left. He did not send me the estimate to my email, didnt leave literature or his card. Perhaps he was having a bad day. Regardless.. not at all professional in the end.He was quick to point out in the beginning that they were rated a + by bbb. Dad to day not in my book.

      Product gets 5 stars, the rest of the experience is a 1. First, we told the sales representative that we are only quoting. It ended up being used car salesman type of pitch. After the astronomical retail price that was quoted, he eventually came to a price that we could afford, thus swindled and sold after 3 1/2 hours in our home, he left around 9pm. We had scheduled the install for 1 week after the sale. The day before the install which was a Friday, I received a phone call that they had to cancel due weather and staffing. We scheduled it for 3 weeks later. The day before the 2nd install date, they called to cancel but after some frustration discussion, the rep said the crew can come out on Saturday morning to do the install. About 4 hours later that day, the rep called me back to say ********* doesn't want to work on Saturday so they will come out on Friday" to which I began to question what happened to cause all this then magically they can do the install on Friday. The install was fine, although we noticed later on that our old gutters were in our neighbor's yard, for what ever reason. Assuming he wanted the aluminum but the Install Tech never asked us if we wanted to keep them for any reason or allow him to give away. Once the first invoice came, we were also shocked to see that we were charged interest when I thought we discussed interest free payments for X amount of months. Further inspection of our contract, that box was not checked, thus leaving us EXTREMELY unhappy with the overall service. The product, again, is great and worth 5 stars but not worth the headache, disappointment or the money at this point because of our disappointment.

While we cannot control the weather, or issues with crew availability, we do try our best to get your Leaguard gutters installed as quickly as possible. The install team should have asked your permission before giving away the old gutters, as we usually take them away ourselves and recycle them into new products. As for the contract, you should always fully review your contract before signing since we cannot revise them once they are completed. Financing is done through a third party and once they have the information, we are unable to change it. We are glad that you are happy with your Leafguard gutters and hope they protect your home for a lifetime!

      For supposedly being installed by professionals, there are few items that I feel do not show this professionalism. All around the house after the installation, there were pieces of metal and mini screws, including some in the driveway, damage to my siding in many places as they tore off the existing downspouts. Speed was much more important than quality of installation. The metal flashing that was put underneath the gutters was not properly fasten down in a few spots. The quality certainly does not reflect the price I paid!

      I had the LeafGuard product placed all around my house in 2007 in ********, ********. I received a guarantee/warranty that they would provide one free gutter cleaning every year. When I called last month (July 2023) to request a cleaning, I was told that LeafGuard was allied with *************** in 2007 but that those two entities split apart and are now competitors locally. I then had difficulty getting either entity to help (and not point the finger at the other). Finally a cleaning visit was scheduled, but the two men refused to clean part of the gutter system, saying that that had not been done by "them". I assured them that it HAD and that I had full documentation that I would be happy to show them. In a **** they took off. I have left messages on multiple numbers for the two people involved in setting up the cleaning appointment. They are not calling me back. I have spoken with the national call center. No resolution so far.

      I had hoped there was a choice for no stars. ******* that came to our house was a high pressure, disrespectful salesman. My husband is 76 years old and he was talked to like he was a child. I interrupted him and asked him to be more respectful and not rude. Please DO NOT do business with this company. ******* told us that they had an A+ rating with BBB. In fact, the reviews show a **** star rating. That should certainly speak volumes.

      On August 23, 2023 a representative came to my elderly mother's home to give her a quote on gutters. I could not be there during the presentation and initial quote so my fianc went to be there for my mom. The rep inquired about the identity of my fianc which was none of her business. After an ****** long presentation on her ipad, the rep quoted my mother $12,000 for two straight gutters with downs spout on a **** square foot house. My mom said it was too much. The rep then proceeded to talk about discounts which brought the price down to $11,000. My mom said still not interested but the rep would not leave. She kept saying she had been asked to come and was trying to help. The rep was on the phone with someone higher up the chain the entire time. I got a text from my fianc when I got off work asking me to come right away. When I arrived, I discovered my mom was not interested in this crazy high price product. I asked her directly, right in front of the rep, if she wanted these gutters and my mom said she did not. I then told the rep she needed to leave. The rep continued to sit there and say she had been invited and was just trying to help. My mom, my fianc and myself asked her nicely to leave but she kept sitting. We then told her we would call the sheriff's department and have her escorted off the property if she did not leave. At that point she finally packed up her samples and left in a ****. My mom is elderly and on fixed income. I shudder to think what would have happened had my fianc and I not been available to provide support to her. Pressure selling to the elderly is criminal in my opinion.
