  i bought a car on April 25, 2023 from *************** in *******, **. I got the Xtended Auto Coverage xp-2. The paperwork at first was wrong had wrong car on there, so they sent me a new copy that was never signed. I took my car to the shop because I heard a ticking noise, no power going up hill, when you use manual shift lose power, when you switch gear car jerked, heard a clunking sound. Not shifting gears smoothly and after using manual mode smells burnt smell. The repair shop said need High Pressure Pump, Valve Cover Gasket, Water Pump, Control Arm (both sides), Cylinder Head Gasket and oil change. They only want to pay for water pump. The Cylinder Head Gasket should be covered because of the water pump causing damage also the valve cover gasket should be covered also because of the internal part water pump causing problem. The High Pressure Pump should also be included because it goes with the water pump not the fuel pump. They meaning Cornerstone do not want to pay for parts that are actually covered under warranty.

  This company is an absolute joke. My son purchased this warranty against my better judgement 6 months ago for almost 5k on his Silverado pickup. Well he is 400 miles from home and has a broken valve spring. Has it towed to Chevrolet dealer and cornerstone refuses to cover this because he doesn't have receipts for all oil changes. Not everyone is incompetent and cant change their own own. He has changed his oil religiously every 3k since he bought the truck himself. We will be canceling this warranty and sharing all this to my 300k followers on ********

  These guys completely ripped me off on my warranty. Tried to cancel a warranty on a tesla I paid $4,100 for and only got $370 after only having it 6 months. The company is a complete scam. NEVER. EVER. BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS SCUMBAG COMPANY.

  Don't waste your money on this company! They should be shutdown! I bought this warranty for my jeep. My head gasket failed causing my head to go bad. The jeep dealership did all of the necessary test to prove it. Cornerstone set a guy out to "test it" and said there was nothing wrong with my jeep. So now I'm making a payment on a jeep with blown heads. I would have put zero stars if possible. Oh and the people you talk to there don't care they are rude to you.

  I give 1 star only because each person that I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately though it was like putting frosting on a dirty sock. When it came down to covering my failed on-board RV generator, Cornerstone gave me the canned response that leaves me still waiting for parts (over 1 year) that **************** says shouldn't be repaired. Cornerstone will not replace the generator as suggested by the shop. To make matters worse they won't cover costs above my $250 deductible stating that the books state it should take less time to fix than the shop says it takes leaving me with over $1200 in costs. In fact if the unit is ever fixed Cornerstone is covering less than half. I could have a new generator installed in 2 days, but now I still wait for parts. Not very "Customer Focused" as their company values state. Don't waste your $5000.

  Cornerstone United is in the business of not paying claims .My claim began May 10th and is still ongoing 2months later . 2 adjustors later and thousands of dollars In rental fees .They are not resolution based . New vs replaced engine. I of course am asking for new engine in addition to dealership and the adjustor but now they are even challenging the replacement.Ive paid a lot of money for this warranty to only be out of even more money with no resolution.Never purchase a warranty from CornerStone United
