We had a terrible experience with the service at Jiffy Lube in Princeton. My wife took her car in for an oil change, and the employee who assisted her was unable to determine the manufacturer-recommended oil for her vehicle. Despite her request for the recommended oil, they were having a stare down because he had no idea what to do. My wife called me on speaker and I told him use fully synthetic oil. After the oil change, my wife drove the car home, and I drove it later that evening. The car began to overheat and smoke while I was at the municipal center. I had the car towed to our regular service center in ********, where the mechanic discovered that the radiator cap had not been replaced after the fluid check at Jiffy Lube. Due to the overheating, the mechanic it may be wise to replace the thermostat to avoid future issues. We contacted Jiffy Lube and were informed that they would reimburse us for the repairs. However, it has been a week since our initial conversation, and we have not received a call back. Each time we visit the store, the manager states that he is unable to assist us and that the decision lies with the regional manager, which does not take calls nor does he have any contact information.I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and attention to detail demonstrated by Jiffy Lube. I believe that when a company makes a mistake, it is their responsibility to rectify the situation and take care of the customer. Unfortunately, ******************** has not demonstrated this commitment to customer satisfaction.I would strongly advise against using this particular Jiffy Lube location and recommend seeking alternative options for automotive services.Jiffy Lube

April 23, 2024 Via Internet Better Business Bureau Re: ***************************** ID# ****** Thank you for contacting us regarding *********************** complaint. I apologize for the delay in responding to your office.****************** brought his 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee into our Jiffy Lube store location on January 25th. According to our companys records, this was the 3rd time this vehicle has been serviced at a Jiffy Lube location. The invoice from January 25th shows the itemized charges of the ***************** synthetic oil change for $109.99 and the brake fluid replacement for $99.99. Additionally, Mr. ******** Jeep requires 6 quarts of oil so there was a $10.99 fee for the extra qt of oil. After reviewing the invoice, all charges appear to be billed correctly. On behalf of Jiffy Lube, I apologize for the miscommunication at the store level as far as the explanation of the pricing. ZERO STARS! AVOID AT ALL COST! Such a scam! I went just to get my emissions tested and employee told me that I needed new breaks. She came to this conclusion simply by feeling them without removal of tires. I was told it is too dangerous to be driving on the road which was obviously Not true. I then went to get a second opinion from express oil, which was amazing and they told me my brakes were brand new. I recently had my breaks replaced and a full tune up.Review fromSondra T

12-2623 went to have inspection. ******** told me to go to bay .4. I counted them off verbally then closed the car door in normal manner. While we were talking a car arrived from the right and drove straight into bay 4 so I got in line behind her. Mechanic started yelling and ******* to me so I opened the door. He yelled at me that I was blocking the traffic. I was. He shouted that I was to go to bay 3. I said in a normal voice that he had told me to go to 4. He apologized in a charmer voice saying, I apologize, I meant 3. No problem. I ***** the door in normal way and backed up car and entered bay 3. Looking for my insurance paper I was startled when he rushed the car yelling and started banging on the window. Opened the door and he shouting in my face. He said for the third (?) time, back up and stay behind the yellow arrow. No mention of arrow before and I had pulled into the empty bay because he has previously told me I was blocking the traffic flow. I decided to leave as I had been doing what he said plus even if I had not, why was he shouting at me in a threatening manner? I am a female senior. I did not react in any way and went to shut the door. He grabbed it to stop me then let it go. He yelled and dont slam the door on me while I am talking. Talking? Yelling plus he had stopped talking he was now couple of feet away from my door. So I did slam it! He yelled get out, and dont come back!. No problem there. Gave him a wave, but would have preferred a finger and started off around the building to get out. He was following me still shouting and gesturing but I could not hear him. As I rounded the building he had gone through the bay to the other side, beating me to it. As I drove by him and out he was still shouting and gesturing . I gave him another little wave good by.This is quite some customer service! I can honesty describe his manner as rage. Other staff will verify what I am saying. So would the other customers.Jiffy Lube

I am a current, and soon to be ex employee of PVA, aka Jiffy Lube, I have requested multiple times from my GM, district manager, and even sent emails to their payroll department seeking my pay stubs, which have yet to show up on their employee app. I can also assure you, that as someone who has worked there a short time, they definitely attempt (and succeed) to make the most money possible off of people who are helpless and unknowlegable, while hiring folks of a similar nature. I was promised full time at a certain rate, then immediately cut to part time my second week there, Im also pretty sure they are stealing wages hence why I keep getting ghosted about my itemized pay stubs (which are by law required in my state to be provided day of payment). They are an absolutely horrible company and anyone who knows anything about cars, or even if you dont just heed my warning, you should stay away. It amazes me that a company of this kind is able to continue operating in any state in the ***. There is tons of OSHA violations committed on the daily which puts employees and their clients at risk, and EPA violations as well. Spills are not reported or even acknowledged, waste water is dumped in the toilet, there is one single mop that cleans all spills of every chemical, and many many other violations of law and policy. These are things that were ordered for us to do (with personal remorse), per the GMs request and direction. The only way I can imagine they are allowed to operate is they pay off state agencies and officials to look the other way. Something needs to be done about PVA and their management.Jiffy Lube

I visited jiffy lube store #**** Northlake in *************** today September 15, 23 at 8am. I came in for a oil change, synthetic basic service. To my surprise I needed many more services said the attendance who greeted me and the mechanic who also assured me. They than offered me a way to get said services, which I also agreed to when pressure by the men (associates) . SNAP FINANCE I was approved and than held there for 6 and a half hours. I refused some services because of the time. Specifically, asked them to NOT add the service of spark plugs because of time. They did it anyway. Service's I didn't know of were also applied to my ******************* things that totalled a large amount. I was estimated 1 and half-hour, 2 at most. But 6 plus hours later I was still held there unable to start my day. Or Just leave. They kept my car in the air. After I repeatedly asked and shouted for it to be brought down. They started the work and wouldn't allow any changes. I had to cancel appointments and rearrange my day because of their bad service. I was told all sort of things about defected parts that caused my vehicle not to start. Also, a wheel lock. MADE a big deal of it. ( in attempting to break it) all while they did multiple other services on the vehicle for the snap finance money. I agreed to basic things, a air cabin filter change, synthetic oil change, ac filter change, but was being given anything now I was livid at this point and required to pay $1,524 charged over time with the snap loan for shottie services there. The Gm ***** wasn't at all helpful, besides offering me a ride home solely to get rid of me after sitting in this establishment for more than 3hrs at this point and raising my voice. The mechanic that came to find all of these problems with the vehicle and parts and who serviced it was ****. Again, I had to pay for his poor service's and sacrificed my whole morning and day to sit in a shop and be ignored and taken advantage of. I was also told to come back.
