    We are satisfied with our new roof installed by Quantum Roofing. We decided to go with them even though they were the highest bidder because We were impressed by the roofing system presented they presented too us in person. However,1. The quality control is lacking in that I had to stop them from leaving the jobsite until they reinstalled the gutter guards. Then, after a few rains, I noticed the gutters on back of the house were not working and I had to call them back again to finish putting back the gutter guard on the back of the house.2. The contract that I signed said that all soffits around the house would be replaced. They were not all replaced because not all attic space was vented. They apparently didn't know that not all of it was vented when the contract was drawn up, but, when I asked for a refund, I was told to my face that I was not going to get a refund. 3. There was a flat charge for "instances" where roofing boards had to be replaced. Yes, they told me about it, but they didn't tell me it didn't matter if it was a sheet of plywood, or a small plank would be charged the same; fourteen instances which amounted to almost their over bid. Summary,Over priced insufficient QC,refusal to negotiate for existing conditions excessive additional charges I would not recommend Quantum Roofing even though I am satisfied with my roof as it is. Quantum Roofing is very expensive compared to other quality roofing companies. Like I said, we did go with the higher bidder but, there are other companies that charge less for a 25 year guaranteed roof of same quality with similar roofing systems.
