Because of being misled in entering the contract we were promised a refund 3 different times. I have reached out to ******* ****** to resolve the s problem but he doesnt respond .My Owner Updates was going to get us released from our timeshare and if this wasnt done in 18 months we would receive a full refund. It is past the 18 months and I have reached out to him without any response. We were charged $25,500 by this company and was promised a refund (because of lies and misleading information) shortly after we started business with them on July 15, 2023. This has caused financial distress and mental stress to our he point of hospitalization.

They are frauds. We drove 35 miles each way to find out it was not what they told us over the phone when we signed up for the presentation. They promised us ways in using our points that we had accumulated but as soon as we got there, we realized from the questionnaire they gave us that it was not an advisement group; it was one of these time share exit companies. We listened and stated we had a vacation already booked this year and likely not what they wanted to hear. We asked for our $100 gift card for attending and they promised it would be sent to my email by 2:30pm the next day. Here we are, a week later, still waiting for a gift card. Several phone calls later still no answer.

Had an call encounter similar to several below where they represented themselves as being with or working for ********, with whom we own time share. Same pitch about maintenance fee relief, booking your home resort and several other issues. BBB has them at D+, so avoid. Their website is not functional which tells me they are a shady business.

We met with My Owner Updates earlier last year. We had owned various timeshares for almost 20 years and had accumulated a total of 7 different ownerships. We upgraded one of our ownerships last spring and with that last purchase we found ourselves stuck in a hole with almost $200,000 in loans to various timeshare companies. At this point I am happy to say that because of My Owner Updates WE ARE FINALLY COMPLETELY TIMESHARE FREE. We would strongly recommend their services to anyone.

I meet with My Owner Updates in there home office, in regards to a timeshare that was inherited. We had no idea what we had been left. We had no option to not accept it. These guys were able to get this out of our family forever. It was a mess and am so thankful that we finally got it all taken care of. Thank you!

My husband and I recently were invited to a meeting with a company called My Owners Update. The meeting was supposedly to discuss updates about Time Shares and offer us assistance if we no longer wanted to pay maintenance fees. As with any real estate taxes increase, we were shown projected increase of what our monthly maintenance fees could end up costing, if we continue to keep our Time Share. We were told that the only way to get out of our Time Share we would have to pay the resort over ******. However, My Owners Update claimed to be able to negotiate a deal to where we'd only pay *****. and it would take **** months to become final. We were hesitant but decided we would start the proceedings to get rid of our Time Share, at the meeting they helped ** to access online banking center to set up a loan for *****. Which we would then turn over to MOU to start the proceedings to severed our ownership with our Time Share. We were told that if they couldn't get us out of our TS we would be refunded a 100%. We decided to take the deal but we would research before we handed them any money. After researching and talking to our TS company we learned that we could exit our ownership through the company without paying a single dime and it would take 6- 12 weeks before becoming final. DO YOUR RESEARCH !!! We almost paid money that we didn't have to as a result we had to put a hold on our checking account because MOU ask for a routing number in order to get the money from your account. We will close out that account. I'm not exactly sure what was about to happen but it seems shady and underhanded.

My Owner Updates is a lifesaver. We met with them because we sought help in getting out of our two timeshares mortgages. I am happy to say that we are finally timeshare free. We would gladly recommend My Owner Updates to anyone. Great company. Being pressured into signing up for a $75,000 timeshare was a nightmare for our family. My Owner Updates helped ** in getting out of a high interest long term mortgage on a property that we could never use. We are so happy that we put our faith in them.

I am pleased to say that my experience with My Owner Updates was very successful. They were very responsive to all of our needs and I am happy to say that we are now out of both of our timeshares that we had inherited.

Received a call at my home number where person on the line represented themselves as working for ********. Discussed a new program that allows maintenance fee relief, mortgage forgiveness and help with leaving my timeshares to others. I was duped into an appointment, but after receiving the confirmation email, realized they are NOT ********! If anyone gets this same call, this company is not your timeshare company! Do Not Take their call, they are trying deceive you for profit!

Paid a settlement with MOU to get out of our ownership after years of misrepresentation and lies in sales presentations. We owed over $100,000 and were able to get all of that to a zero balance and free of our maintenance fees. Would recommend doing business with this company if you have a problem with a timeshare.
