      First off let me start by saying I am utterly disappointed by *********************************************! My grandma has lived in her apartment for 23 years, and Wilhoit properties have not shown her any compassion for her being there for YEARS ! My grandma is 76 years old and lives alone. Every week I take my grandmother out to eat and purchase her groceries. My grandmothers restroom toilet is LIFTING, and I have called the property management several times explaining her toilet situation. The property manager always tells me we will try to get with her as soon as possible. I have called 9x in the past 2 months and no one has still come out to fix my grandma restroom. The toilet is lifting so bad that a snake can easily get through! My siblings and I used to always visit my grandmas house growing up and she has never had roaches in her home EVER until recently. The roaches are coming through from the cracks around the toilet! Also her home is shifting and she is beginning to get cracks on her walls and on the floors! I called maintenance about the cracks and they came over and painted over the walls and told my grandma the only thing we can do is the walls just dont touch them or hang up anything and the cracks will be fine. No one showed my grandma any remorse with her being elderly and give these apartments her money for 23 YEARS! Please please please do not rent from these people! They dont care about u at all. I will be letting people know and spreading the word!

      Myself and other tenants have called the police numerous times due to noise and violence at ************* in *******, *****. The manager and regional manager need to be fired. The lease is not in accordance with *********** Law and I sent a email about some issues in it and if this is ever done to me they would have criminal charges. No after hours number to call for the police and the police have asked for it so they can criminal trespass certain people. My heater sounds like a jet engine and the breaker keep flipping. But thats all normal. They treat you horribly and are rude. We have filed police reports and they are pending. The regional manager tells me a tenant must violate 3 times before a judge will evict you then wants to argue with me when *** worked for a police department. I know the law and its case by case basis. If the regional manager and manager would violate the problem tenants rather than waiting over a week to give a memo after the police were called over 10 times then we wouldnt be in this situation, This complex has been open barely over a month and some patios look like government apartments with mattresses, rugs and trash everywhere. Management said they cant speak with someone about these issues, children unattended at the playground, children throwing rocks at the windows, people drinking (public intoxication), people washing and working on their vehicles in the parking lot, even though it violates the lease. I still have not received my reserved handicap parking its been before Thanksgiving. They discriminated against me because I have a different type of lease than other tenants I have everything documented, recorded and videoed. I have left a message for my attorney and my advocate to email and give me a call. I see by these reviews that the owner of this company takes no responsibility. This is how lawsuits get filed. This is how people get injured and you will be held 100% accountable by law.

      We utilize the same *** lease for all residents in *****, we do not have any alternate leases. We are sorry that you feel that patios are unkept, and we will address this. This is a brand-new community and sometimes due to the amount of people that are moving in at the same time there can be an excess of trash during the move in process. We will schedule extra trash pickups as necessary. All residents have a community policy that they sign at move in and need to adhere to. If these policies are violated multiple times it could lead to eviction.

      I moved into *********************** Apartment on August 1st. I have been complaining about the how nasty the bathroom zinc and tubs are. My son room is so hot he has had two asthma attacks. And I am still waiting for them to correct the situation. This is horrible. I have sent multiple pictures, emails, and visited the office multiple times. I begged them to come look at my apartment but no justice. I have called the owners no response. This is so unprofessional and unfair

      This *************************** is the absolute worst. The people they put in the offices are just as bad. I've lived at ************************* for over 6 years this company has had it for 1 year. I NEVER had a maintenance issue until they came along. They ignore phone calls, portal request, &everyone from corporate to the office managers lie their way through every situation. Back in April I had a water leak in my kitchen roof that took over 4 months for them to send anyone to fix it. I didn't have a light in there for 3 of those. When they finally had someone do it the maintenance people spray painted the ceiling to cover up all the water damage. My cabinets&floor is still messed up. I've now been without a stove for almost 3 weeks. I've been told they promise they will send someone out, but as usual that was a lie. I spoke to a girl named ******* who informed me I should have sent my request to the portal instead of leaving a VM bc she hasn't checked it. Friday 11/3 she said someone would be out which didn't happen. Monday I added it to the portal it was looked at but just left that way. That Thursday 11/9 I spoke to ************** who knew nothing about my issue said Friday 11/10 that morning she would get with maintenance and see what was going on. Well Friday goes by (now week 2) still NOTHING, so I now called corporate. I was told she was sending a message to the Regional and office manager for someone to call me. Monday comes I get a call from a different properties manager owned by the same company wanting to know what's wrong. I asked the lady was she over my apts and she said no and asked me to hold on. She came back to the phone & told me the manager was at her location and would call me back shortly. At 4:50 still no call so I called that number back. That lady said she will call you tomorrow. 11/14 I have to call and ************* promised after lunch they would come that was a lie. Then she tried making me look like a liar saying she didn't say that when SHE DID!

      If I could rate under a 1 star, I would give them a zero. My compliant is about the owners Wilhoit Properties and their location and management/maintenance at the Sterling Park apartments in *****************.I paid my daughter's deposit of $200. It took me 2 months to receive a check after calling and emailing them. When the check was received it was only for $130. No explanation for why I was not paid the whole $200. I called and asked to speak to the person issuing the check and never hear back, that was 4 weeks ago.I had the apartment professionally cleaned and it was in cleaner condition than when my daughter moved in. I have pictures of every room, the inside of cabinets, stove (she never used), the fridge, washer and dryer, toilets, all of the apartment and videos that the fans worked. Windows were even washed but were filthy when the apartment was moved into. I returned 3 keys and have pictures of them being returned. I left a new shower head she put in because management doesn't replace these types of things. The washer was tearing up her clothes and blankets, she reported this, and nothing was done. The apartment has faulty electrical problems, the heat is on all the time, making my daughter run her air conditioners all the time. And the cost was beyond her means. She reported it but nothing was done by management - told to call the electric company, she did that, they said it was their problem. She actually had to turn off the power to the unit via the electric panel and try and keep cool.Worst place to rent from! Worst company to own properties! And they lie!

      Wilhoit Properties and the ******************************* has been in contact with ****************** multiple times regarding the return of the final deposit. A final account statement was mailed to the address provided at move out. As this was a unique situation, there was some difficulty getting a correct forwarding address from Ms. ******* It is unclear if the final account statement was not received at the corrected address, Sterling Park Apartments will mail a secondary explanation to the correct address. Damages to a window blind and an unreturned *********** that was deducted from the deposit. The ************************ responded to all work orders that were submitted to management timely and appropriately.

      ******************** in ************* ******* locks doors at 5 pm and we have no way of letting visitors in or deliveries after 5 pm. They have phone system there since they opened building 3 yrs ago but nothing has been done. There are elderly people here that are not able to get on elevator to come open doors. That is so sad. If any emergency paramedics cant get in. Packages being sent back cause they cant get in. This is horrible.

      Due to my son's mental illness.My son is not to holdcanable for his actions. He is under MJHR CARE AND IS A PATIENT.. AND IS JAIL... MANAGER.. EVICTED HIM AND HIS GRANDMA FOR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. NOT KNOWING ABOUT HIS MENTAL ILLNESS. SHOWING NO COMPASSION OR CONCERNS AND NOT GIVING A RAT A** .. ABOUT THEM AFTER 3 YEARS NEVER BEEN LATE ON HER RENT, MANAGER is **** hateful.. discriminates. She's rude

      We are disappointed to receive your negative review. We hold all residents and their occupants to the same standards.  The resident signed the lease and addendums that applied to the community policies and regulations, stating the resident and occupants will follow them.  The policies and regulations are in place for the comfort and safety of all resident and we cannot make exceptions.

      I am a resident at Rocky top apartments.owned bye wilhoit inc.they currently have a manager at this property named "******* ***". I live with my handicap sister in a one bedroom.which we were suppose to have a two bedroom over a year ago.however ms.*** comes in after me and my sister have lived here almost three years.we pay our rent on time and have not ever been called to the office for any complaints.however Ms *** comes in.i go pay the rent and meet Ms ***,I explain to her my sister had burnt her arm on a stove eye trying to light a cigarette.sges been in Nashville Vanderbilt burn unit for 3 months and has had five skin graft surgeries.ms *** says oh ok.i leave no problem.the maintenance man comes up about 3 weeks later says "I and my sister have an inspection for k.c.d.c. coming up is there anything we need for our apartment"I explain to him about my sister and told him I needed a fire extinguisher and some blinds I also told him I did a home test for COVID and it was positive.he" the maintenance man"then said.oh just put a note up and your inspection would get delayed and redone.about two days later I get a letter from the office from Ms *** telling me and my sister they came to inspect we failed because it was put off,the letter also stated she ms.*** had heard they're were a fire in the apartment and she was coming to inspect it.it also stated no one could be in the home due to being positive for COVID.she came done her inspection and my girlfriend was here that day.she told my girlfriend everything looked good and they would reschedule the k.c.d.c. inspection.approx three days later I'm getting told bye ms.*** were being evicted because I'm not on the lease.me ms.*** and the maintenance man looks through the lease and all my information is in it.ms.*** states"it doesn't matter I'm evicting you anyway because your sister is in the hospital and *** not be back,your not on the lease and your girlfriend is there.i explained to her my sister would be home.

      At the end of March when the property manager, the property manger was attempting to complete the recertification for the resident, a male individual answered the door to the unit and said that his sister was in the hospital due to a severe burn. ******* was under the impression that this happened in the unit, so she asked to look but at that time the individual said that he had COVID. She rescheduled to come in after he recovered and found no evidence of a fire anywhere in the unit. It was at this time that the property manager continued to try and contact the resident to no avail. On 3/29 lease violation was issued for unauthorized occupant as this individual and his girlfriend who both are living in the unit but were not on the lease. The property manager then received a call from a caregiver of the resident stating that they were not sure if the resident would be able to return to the unit based on her condition. With knowing this, the manager issued a 30-day notice of non-renewal since her lease expires at the end of April and she would not be able to complete her recertification prior to the lease expiration. Our findings conclude the property manager was follow protocol established by the company.Thank you. - Management

I am so grateful for the team at Anson park apt and for my new home! There are some good things happening here!

      *** from Ryan's Crossing in Marshall Texas. That women is pure evil. She knew me and my kids would be homeless because I spoke with her letting her know I had given my notice and moved out of my house. She assured me I would be approved it's just a long process. It took almost two months for me to get approval. I had a section 8 voucher I was using from ******** ******* ********* in Marshall Texas. Mind you I moved from Delaware to Texas to use the voucher *** did a bait and switch I guess she thought I would be desperate and take whatever. They forced me to get utilities on before I could schedule an inspection. I went to see the unit I was getting and I was appalled. It was filthy, the walls and kitchen countet had some sort of super shine and the walls looked like the projects. Rocky and gravel walls with a super shine. Now they showed me a very nice house. Unfortunetly that one was taken. After two months of waiting to get approved, moved out my house gave away all my furniture. Just to end up with nothing I was so hurt and sad I just gave up. My kids didn't want it and neither did I. We are now in a hotel and homeless. I'm currently trying to find a way to get my kids in school without a permanent residence. I lost my voucher it expired and the housing authority would not let me pick another apartment somewhere else. Sad, I trusted the process and now I'm literally homeless. Gave up everything for the move and now I have nothing. No house or anything.
