I am having to use this pharmacy due to my insurance. I was on ****** and everything fine for that medication but now that I have been put on ****** they are taking their sweet time. When I called they told me that it was still waiting for Pharmacist approval and it was almost complete. I said "yall have had the prescription for a week and it has already been approved by my doctor and my insurance company so what's the hold up?" I was advised that they have their own process of making sure everything was approved before they fill it. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here in pain and having nothing to help it. If I could give them negative stars I wouldReview fromCaitlin S

I too wish I could leave this pharmacy 0 stars. It is impossible to get my prescription filled. Im super sick, was in the hospital and need a medication in order to function and take care of my 1 year old daughter. I keep being told information is missing, need clarification, things are processing or youll receive. Call in 48 hours. I get nowhere. The prescription was put in over 20 days ago and I still dont have it. I call every 2 days to make sure they have the info they need but get again get nowhere, its like talking to a wall. How is this pharmacy legal?!?!?!Review fromMonica G

Truly disappointing experiences, time and time again. This pharmacy runs extremely inefficiently and takes triple the time it would take to accomplish a task at any other specialty pharmacy. As a patient, you are rarely able to directly speak with the person who can actually assist you with a task. Rather, you are re-routed through multiple parties, just for someone to finally tell you that they "put in your request" with no follow up. There is way too much red tape that wears the patients out so that they will just give up. If you must use this pharmacy, you will likely only have real success if your doctor is the one who can speak to them to accomplish what you need. The medical providers have access to the "top" people and the patients do not, resulting in extensive time on the phones and serious delays. If your insurance plan allows some choice in a specialty pharmacy to work with, I would recommend CVS. Best of luck to those trying to care for themselves and keep their sanity in tact in the process!Review fromSean M

I can't believe they call themselves "Express Scripts". Hilarious. I takes them 3 weeks to create a shipping label for a prescription I have been taking for years. Ugh. Had enough.Review fromAndrew B

Agents here speak little English and are incompetent. I spent over 10hrs on the phone and it took over 3 weeks to get it shipped. Doctor writes prescription. Accredo fills it. I pay. Not rocket science. Even when I gave them the doctor's direct number to resolve, they seemed to struggle to comprehend this simple concept. Just say, "Oh sure. We can call them and sort this out. No problem." Or they say. "I see your prescription is 25mg." Yea, twice daily. That's kind of an important part of a prescription. How do you work here and not know this?I would gladly pay 10 times the price to speak to competent staff. Money isn't everything. I suggest immediately asking them to transfer you to a supervisor or pharmacist. Much faster.Clearly, Accredo is trying to maximize profit and massively impacting the quality of services. Disgusting.Review fromLauren S

I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with how Accredo has managed my co-pay assistance and insurance billing for a medication that costs roughly $5,000 per month.Accredo has been applying my co-pay assistance *before* billing my insurance provider. As a result, my annual co-pay assistance which is limited to /$9,000 was completely exhausted within the first two months of the year. This defeats the purpose of the program, which is intended to help cover the out-of-pocket costs *after* insurance has paid its ********** insurance covers 90% of the medication cost, leaving me responsible for the remaining 10%, or /$500 per month. Because of the misapplied billing, I was left with an unexpected and unaffordable balance of /$5,000 once the assistance was *********** an effort to correct this, I requested that Accredo remove the co-pay assistance from my account so that I could pay the out-of-pocket costs directly and submit them through a rebate program. Despite this, my recent /$2,000 payment was inexplicably applied to a prescription from over a year ago. As a result, the rebate program has denied my reimbursement, leaving me financially burdened once again.I have consistently encountered poor service throughout this ordeal. Each time I contact Accredo for support, I am met with unhelpful representatives and no resolution. This experience has been extremely stressful, and I feel unsupported and unfairly penalized for trying to manage my healthcare costs responsibly.I am requesting an immediate review and correction of the billing practices on my account, as well as reimbursement or credit for the /$2,000 misapplied payment. I also urge Accredo to revise its policy to ensure co-pay assistance is only used to supplement patient costs after insurance contributions.Review fromSean C

I would give them zero stars if i could. I dont usually leave reviews for companies, but the blatant mismanagement of my prescriptions is too infuriating to ignore. I have a time sensitive medication that Accredo held up in red tape, and after 5 different phone calls in the span of 2 weeks to sort everything out, I will now miss my medication dose because they failed to process my prescription. Then when I finally managed to talk to a manager, the answer I was given was well you should have called us sooner, when I was told that they wouldnt discuss my medications when I called in the timeframe they said I should have called during. Even more frustrating, when discussing options to get out of the jam they put me in, every solution they gave me still ended in me missing my medication because they would be unable to process that option in time. It is unacceptable that Accredos weaponized incompetence and lack of action is standing in the way of me receiving my healthcare when everything was done correctly on my end and my doctors end. It is criminal that they are allowed to stay in business.Review fromStanley O

Having heart disease for years, I'm prescribed ********** to regulate my heartbeat, and a blood thinner. I'm on ******** for these. I'm also a member of the ******************************************** (***), for which Express Scripts sends me drugs to help me breathe. Express Scripts regularly denies both these sets of meds because, as it turns out, the ******** and the *** accounts are separate. But each of them can somehow influence the other, without humans knowing a thing! The *** account tells the fulfillment department that the heart drugs aren't on its plan. So I don't get them! The ******** account denies my breathing drugs! I would really like to get these meds from E.S. for the ease of mailing. But the company is unreliable. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I'm running out of a necessary heart drug. I have to call every time I need a refill, and calling is exasperating.Maybe Express Scripts wants me to die of a heart attack so I'll stop complaining.Review fromNancy G

Express Scripts is the perfect example of the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I get a "bill" for an amount but then when I log on to pay the system says I owe nothing. Which I like but why send out a bill? I had to verify my account with an email that was sent to someone else. Cigna and Express Scripts should communicate.I can't wait to change my ******** part d insurance from Cigna back to AARP.I could have gotten an eyedrop for $59 in a cash pay but somehow Cigna/Express Scripts blocked this and they said they would now cover this drug for $679 a month. No way. If I get it directly through a pharmacy and not through Express Scripts I pay less than half ******* NOT USE EXPRESS SCRIPTS!!!Review fromCindy D

Express Scripts is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. When you are finally connected, after several minutes, to someone, they are located in the ***********. When I ask to speak to someone in the billing ***** in the **** they disconnect me. When I finally reach someone in the **** (allegedly) and ask to speak to the billing *****, apparently they don't HAVE one. I sent in a check 3 months ago to the address listed on the invoice. My check was returned 60 days later with a yellow sticker on the envelope: Not deliverable as addressed! They have sent me email 'reminders' - I replied to their emails, even posting a copy of the check. No response - what a disaster of a company!
