      Dealing with express scripts made me feel like a victim of extortion! I have to pay for them to refuse to fill life saving medication for my heart prescribed by my doc. The representatives have attitude after you wait on hold forever. They will only fill script as written by doc if I use a *** ******** but I don't drive and the nearest *** is one and half hours away from me.

      My insurance company just switched over to Accredo. I take medication daily to survive, almost 10 calls in and just finding out that I need a preauthorization. After talking to several reps no one ever asked for this information from me. I even got recordings telling me that my medication would be on the way, unfortunately almost a month later I am still waiting and have already missed a few doses. It wasnt until today I find out I need a preauthorization. No one at this organization knows what theyre talking about are doing, and they are putting peoples lives at their hands. This is so ridiculous, I have no idea why BCBS would have gone to this company. I am exhausted and stressed, over one medication but I cant seem to get now because of this company.

      I am currently prescribed a medication that has to be filled by a specialty pharmacy. When initially trying to obtain my medication, it took numerous phone calls to make sure they had the prior approval for the medicine and also to include the co-pay assistance that the drug manufacturer offers. I have been outright lied to, told that they would take care of obtaining authorizations and co-pay assistance information, that the balance on my account was being processed and no need for me to worry about it, and the list goes on. Now an insurance change midway through the calendar year, I am once again being tormented by the inability for anyone at Accredo to actually help. I called on 7/08/22 with my new insurance information; was told it would take approximately one week for them to sort out the new insurance, but on 7/12/22 when I called to check on the status, they have not made any of the changes; new insurance information is nowhere to be found. I have never been offered to speak with a pharmacist; do they even employ them? Where is the oversight? When speaking with them on 7/12/22 in the middle of our conversion, they magically found the prior auth but when I requested the authorization number they couldnt provide it. And they asked me why I wanted it! I was also asked why I changed my insurance. When does it become the business of a pharmacy to know why I changed my insurance? You cannot trust anything youre being told. The medication is expensive so I'm forced to use Accredo. Until you have to deal with these large pharmacy conglomerates you have no idea what an absolute nightmare they are. I have yet to have this issue cleared up. My medication will be out by the end of the week and I likely wont have what I need. I cannot imagine how some people can navigate the neglect. I am certain that people have been hospitalized over their negligence. I can't believe this sort of practice is allowed to continue. I guess it'll take people dying before we fix this
