I rented an Extended Luxury SUV from Enterprise. Both Website and phone representative confirmed that the vehicle options were a ******** Escalade ESV, ******* Navigator L, Jeep Grand Wagoneer L (Im looking at purchasing an Escalade or a Navigator). When I arrived - the ******************** had been move into Enterprises Exotic fleet and not available to me. I was told to contact the Exotic fleet manager to coordinate - who was not readily available. Classic ************** I drove out with the Wagoneer expecting the exotic fleet manager to make it right and exchange vehicles, but that did not happen. Why anyone would think the Escalade or the Navigator are Exotic is baffling. I have contacted Enterprise 4 different times over a three week period, always told that I would be contacted by someone to resolve - Im still waitingDO NOT base your Enterprise rental car decision on the car type ********* NOT expect Enterprise to resolve any issue you might have with your ********* NOT rent from Enterprise - they employ the classic bait and switch rental ********* NOT rent from Enterprise - There are better and more affordable car rental agencies to rent from.

I am writing you because I tried getting this issue resolved through appropriate channels before filing a dispute. On August 5, 2024 I rented a car from Enterprise Car Rental at the ***********. I always use the same credit card that provides auto insurance coverage and now I have an **** account which allows me to get better rental rates. When I was checking in; the agent (I think his name is *****) told me I had to get the auto insurance coverage. I tried explaining to him that I normally decline auto insurance coverage because of the benefits offered to me through my credit card and ****. But he insisted I needed it. It was late in the evening we had a long flight from ** and I just wanted to get to my family. I rent from enterprise because I have a rewards accounts and it is easy to communicate any issues, concerns or compliments but this was first time I experienced something like this. Seemed criminal.

I rented a car on 10/16/2024 in ****** *******. Due to the fact that my current vehicle broke down and was having to be fixed at the ********* dealership. I live 100 miles away from ******. I thought you could return the vehicle to any enterprise location. After returning the car on 10/17/2024 at the ******* ******* location I was charged an additional $75 dollars for a one way drop fee. The lady in ******* left my ticket open and advised me to contact the ************* as this fee should be removed. After contacting Mobile they refused to remove which made a one day total come to $225. Never again will I use enterprise. Next time I will sit and wait for someone to come pick me up.

I hope my ************************** and Employers ****** considers canceling their contracts with Enterprise. I would enjoy not having to deal with ********/***** at the ****** location ever again. I was given SUV. They advertise safe, clean sanitized cars and invite you to review their policies. The car smelt sour and it had not been cleaned. It had nails in the tires. I had to have the car detailed. I found Store receipts, food bags, straw wrappers and sand under carpets and in storage areas. Even the wheel *****, license plate were stuffed with trash. The sour smell was spit up or vomit and cat/dog hair was embedded in the trunk carpet. I'm asthmatic and wanted to change the car out bec it wasn't safe health wise 4me but they wouldnt give repair auth or take the car and fix tire while I was at their office. THEN They had Employers cancel rental contract good from 10/8 to 1017 and left me owing for the rental from 10/8 to 10/16. Charged my debit $290+ and said they would rerurn my call precisely at 5:30 pm and here it is 10 pm and ******* never called from ***************** Imagaine. Mine is one of several. Does BBB really care or try and help. I don't see anything remedied bec I've vented to FB and on Enterprise website.

Out of ***pect for my own integrity I will simply list the initials of the person who handled my ***ervation: N.H who is a manager for Enterprise at the ********** location treated us very unfairly.Though cant list the entire details of my experience here. I will sum it up as: illogical, discriminating, aggrandizement, & most of all an invasion of privacy. I had a current *** directly with Enterprise that had ended so I made this new *** DIRECTLY with Enterprise for ******* because of the much lower rate. My rewards was profile attached, I provided documents with info (current proof of auto ins policy, current utility bill) CC, Credit Deposit -all I used for prior successful ***. ****** prepared as usual. What can I say? I still didn't get a car. After 1 hr of demands & closing time, what she said to me was "I wont rent to you today." I left without a car. Clearly it was up to her regardless of my status or having made a *** or not. & All of my obligations for tomorrow -had to be cancelled. Use a different location. This location tends to have somewhat better rates, but it is worth spending the extra **** for consistency, dependability and ***pect. This branch is inconsistent/selective with the Enterprise policies. If you use them, be sure to use email using documentation to confirm your *** and validate that you are complying with rental requirements. I had an awful experience here; fortunately several other customers who were p***ent either dropping off or picking up vehicles volunteered as witnesses. Enterprise themselves was able to confirm their policies, further validating a discrepancy on behalf of the branch, but is that sufficient? After seeing the past reviews I am persuaded to conclude that this branch is most certainly worth evading at all cost. I am debating on whether to or not take this to small claims in an efforts to establish accountability and highlight the need for better customer service managements protocols on behalf of Enterprise.

Extremely dissatisfied with the cost to return rental at a different location due to hurricane ****** evacuation needs. The cost to return the vehicle at an alternate location was greater than the cost of the rental for an entire week. Having to digest this in the midst of an already difficult week filled with unforeseen expenses is imaginable. In my opinion, taking advantage of customers during state of emergency/time of need is an example of corporate greed at its finest.

Liars-told us they had the vehicle on the lot. We took an **** from another city, called before we left so we wouldnt take an **** all the way there only to find out no vehicle. However what they chose to do was flat out lie and tell us the vehicle was there. We took the **** arrived only to find there were 10 other people sitting there having arrived by **** or a friend only to be told they didnt actually have ANY vehicles whatsoever on the lot. This is bait and switch, bad business. Corporate greed. Sucked into do this to people experiencing the most stressful times of their lives. How the h*** you dont know where your vehicles are? Even U-Haul knows where their vehicles are . They dont have this trouble when they rent vehicles so why do you? We will never ever use you again. You cant be trusted . I have also filed a complaint t with the state of Florida with ****** ************** This was very wrong to do to people. Making false claims to have vehicles and lieing to customers is not any business I want to do business with ever. They said they would reimburse us for the **** ride when they have a rental available and we pay, also a s***** thing to do. **** lies lies .

Wow, just received a call from Enterprise -******, ** on Daybrite Drive that they have overbooked and they will not have a vehicle to accommodate my reservation. ??? How does that occur? Is there not verification in the system when reserving online that informs the customer of vehicle availability? She informed me that she will call me at 10:30 to let me know if one showed up. That doesn't work for me. I have definite plans so I require a definite YES. I haven't rented from this Enterprise since prior to COVID, services everywhere seem to be **** poor now. I don't think I'll choose this site for a rental again. Inconvenience and inconsistency yields less customers returning. I haven't had this issue with other rental competitors; more than likely, I'll be choosing one of the others. After reading these other reviews, shut the entire place downretrainreorganizereopen with BETTER service!

We booked a vehicle online. We called our local number to verify there was a vehicle - but the call got re-routed to an international car center. When we arrived at the airport, there were no vehicles available. Why does the booking system allow customers to book if there is no inventory? Why can't I call the local branch? Why does the international call center assure the customer that they can see inventory if there are no vehicles available? This is the worst customer service - from a national brand. It is shameful.
