  So Grateful I Joined — Invaluable Support and Training I joined the Stay At Home Bookkeeper Academy a year ago, and looking back, I’m so glad I made that decision. The level of support offered is incredible—from the very beginning stages like setting up my business entity and learning the fundamentals of bookkeeping, to more advanced topics like marketing, client communication, and handling the real-life complexities that come up with messy or unique books. What has stood out the most is the ongoing, unlimited help available for day-to-day situations. The mentors are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and patient. They never made me feel like any question was too small or too obvious—there truly are no dumb questions here. The program also includes training on mindset and business confidence, which I didn’t expect but found incredibly valuable as a new business owner. It’s not just about bookkeeping; it’s about building a successful, sustainable business with a strong foundation and the support you need to keep growing.   Joining the SAHB Academy was one of the best decisions I made when I decided to start my own business. I was confident in my accounting skills, but I knew finding clients and growing the company would be challenging for me. I tend to procrastinate when I’m unsure about what to do, but the coursework provided me with daily actionable steps to set up my business, market to those who need my services, and offer numerous resources for quoting and running efficiently. If you don’t have a bookkeeping background, there is also plenty of training available. There were daily Zoom calls that kept me motivated and on-task, especially in the first couple of months when I was building my brand, networking, and preparing to service clients. It took me three months to sign my first client, and by month eight, I had entirely replaced my corporate paycheck! The ongoing support is also top-notch! I have never run into a question that this team couldn’t guide me through.

  I've been in the Stay at Home Bookkeeper Academy for 11 months. I had the desire to start my own bookkeeping business and was in search of a program to help me. I researched a bunch and decided on this one. It was the best decision I could have ever made. This program has gone above and beyond my expectations. I started my business as soon as I joined, while continuing to work my full-time job. Within the first 6 months, I was able to retire from Corporate America and run my own business full-time. I can say without a doubt that the Stay at Home Bookkeeper Academy provided every piece of information I needed. They don't just teach bookkeeping, they teach you how to set up your business, how to market, how to network, how to talk to prospects and follow-up with proposals, the list goes on and on. There are about 7 zoom calls each week to help with mindset, marketing, and bookkeeping questions. There are several training zoom calls each month. And there is a private Facebook group for support ... the mentors answer bookkeeping questions and help with issues, as well as cheer you on. The value you will get from this program is unmatched!! I am living the life of my dreams and am so thankful I found the Academy!

  To anyone on the fence - you need to go into this ready to be proactive, solve problems and move through things you never would have seen coming. It's a roadmap with (great) resources, not a done-for-you business. The group mentors are there for you, the office hour and mindset calls are very supportive, the one-time new client financial reviews are such a gift to help build confidence, the course is constantly being added to and some of the posts in the group have been the most educational for me. I joined the academy 16 months ago in Aug. 2023 and have grown exponentially since. I am now only $2k per month away from replacing the 6-figure salary I walked away from 4 months ago (I built this on the side for a while). I signed 2 large "clean-ups" this month and while it's not the "norm" for me (yet), experiencing a $28k month after what feels like such a short time feels amazing. With the support of the academy I am planning to scale my business in 2025 and replace my family's household income and then some! You get what you're willing to put into it. Some of the biggest shifts came for me when I decided to show up fully and mentally go all in for myself.   I signed up for the Stay at Home Bookkeeper Academy 2 years ago. I graduated last January. They have been so supportive and helpful that I have remained with the academy for support and guidance. Because of the mentorship and guidance, I earned enough money in my first year to more than pay for the academy. I’ve been able to make a huge impact on our home finances and hire my daughter-in-law.   I signed up for the Stay at Home Bookkeeper Academy with a special offer to be part of their support community for three months. I have signed up for other online coaching programs, and this one has been, by far, the most supportive! The course you follow in the academy is clear, and the teaching videos are thorough. You are able to make progress in your own time, which is a bonus if you have a busy schedule. It can be tricky to make progress, though, when you are so busy (as I am), and that is where the support has been amazing! Yes, you get access to a Facebook group, and that has been active with information about weekly coaching calls as well as bonus masterclasses that are given by coaches when they feel they want to support us even more! In the Facebook group, members ask questions regarding their client accounts and get an answer quickly - within hours, and often quicker than that. You can also share concerns around mindset and marketing - or share wins. This is a good, active Facebook group, and it's what I would expect from a program like this (very well done in this instance). But there's a lot more! I have had TWO coaches actively looking after me since I signed up. They send me check-in messages every couple of weeks, and if I forget to answer a message - I get a nudge. They respond to my responses quickly, and I've had a 1-1 session from one of them TWICE in my 3 months in the program. I have never had this much support in a coaching program. There are daily coaching calls you can join. I am an American living in the UK, so it's been tricky to join calls with the time difference and my teaching schedule. However, I recently managed to attend a mindset call with Robbin M******, and WOW! What an amazing coach she is! Going into the marketing phase of this business has been a huge mindset challenge for me, but her coaching genuinely turned things around for me. I highly recommend this program!
