  Complete garbage. A Senior Tax Analyst told me my Foreign Earned Income isn't reportable or taxable because she was too lazy to correct the return that she screwed up twice already (not to mention the *** notices generated by the incorrectly-filed return, which somehow got filed without my signature). Everything done over email, because the *** web portal doesn't work. I'm angry.

  After being disconnected and left on hold til I hung up. 2 days of arguing and being transferred from here to ***** and back. They still have my refund in their bank. And nobody There listens or cares.

  H&R Block, ************************************** of ******** **, ***********, did my tax return, found to possibly have problems but will not return any calls now for 2 months. Left messages but to no avail. Horrible service, can't believe someone can get away with this. Had no problem collecting my money!!! I'm handicap and they still take advantage of you,! Karma will get you ********!

  If I could give 0 stars I would. They are crooks. They were suppose to take money out of my tax refund for the prep work and they apparently didn't. I didn't notice and just assumed they did since that's what they said they would do. I never received any kind of notice that it didn't get paid for a year. I walked into the next year's tax prep and they told me there that I owed it and would need to call and resolve it. Ok fine. Received my refund and they had taken out both years tax prep fee and left me with little money back from my refund. I've used them several years and ALWAYS paid in full. They should have contacted me about payment or asked to take it out of the current year and did not do either. Yet they have no problem calling to make appts and sending mail and email about the company all year long!!!!!

  I think this is a poor company product representation, poor training, then a customer retention issue. I have used ********************** for several years to file an electronic tax return. This year I considered to use the *************** to check my return. At the end of the data entry process I decided not to use the Tax Pro and just file the return. I was unable to file the return. The system would not let me. I was not provided an option to NOT use the Tax Pro. I went into the Chat room and had someone help me. At the end of that process my return was completely deleted, as if I had not done a single thing over the past months. I immediately went back into the Chart room and eventually was told my account had been "downgraded" so my return was deleted. I was told to start over again. I was given the number to the *********** ********** where I was told they "understood" if I wanted to move on to another tax service. Incredible. Amazing that customers are treated so badly. No More HR Block.

  Was advised by HR Block "tax expert" to file separate even though my wife and I both contribute to *************** accounts and the *** rules state that couples can not file separate and contribute to ***************. The HR Block preparer advised us to file separate for the last 2 years. My feeling is this is a scam to get us both to pay filing charges, fees, and peace of mind. There was no advantage to filing separate and in fact our tax burden was $1000 more when filing separate. Had to file amended return and HR Block cant even tell me why I got letter from ***. Now I have made an in person visit to complain about the poor advice I was given and resolve *** letter. Additionally I spent ********************************************************************************************************************************************** back. Called again but they could not get me to the same person. Had to give all the info again. I have talked to nine customer service agents and wasted 2 hours. Now its time to start a claim for the *** penalties and fees. More time I will need to waste.

  I think they are the worst. My son had his taxes done in march at the ******** location and the guy screwed up the zip code. And his stuff was returned undeliverable. He has been trying to resolve this because you cant get through irs.Dover office and corporate said its not their problem anymore. Some help they are when u pay them for a service. I helped him send proper form and info into irs 2 months ago. Still comes up undeliverable. I hope this business either goes bankrupt, goes out of business or gets shut down with so many complaints.??

  Did taxes w H&R in March but they put the wrong account # and still processed it. I didn't get the money so I went to my bank as instructed. They told me they didn't have it that I needed to contact H&R. H&R told me due to the error, it would be coming to me in the mail in 1-3 weeks. After 3wks I didn't receive it. H&R then said to contact IRS. After the hard task of trying to contact IRS they informed me they never received the money back and that they couldn't issue me paper check. They could only offer to trace the money back to the bank. The bank has 90 days to respond, their would be 2 wks of responding between the 2 institutions and then a check would be issued after 3wks. I then went back to H&R block who gave me a number. When I called them they said they tried to mail me a paper check but had the wrong address(lies) I processed the paperwork they gave me. Confirmed live it was received and all sent docs were accepted for processing. Money would be deposited electronically 5days **** After a week no money was deposited. They told me they needed a voided check and that the documents were rejected. (No one contacted me to say that though) the form they gave said to send a voided check OR bank stationary but they said no I need both. The branch Mgr of my bank submitted both and I was told again it had been received but was rejected. No one could tell why. After a while they told me it wasn't the docs I sent but that my full name had to be written out on a different section even though the form was asking for a 2nd party's name in that section. Resubmitted a 3rd time that same day was told that it would be processed a 2 day process. I called back after 2 days again told it was processed and the money would be here today June 20th no later than the 22nd. I called today they say it has not been processed and takes 5 days then 3-5 to receive. So I still won't have my money for another wk w no confidence that it's actually true. I will NEVER use H&R again.

  Paid to have my 2021 taxes done by this company - ended up owing close to $1,100 dollars which we expected but we paid for peace of mind (you know that great thing they say if they make a mistake they'll pay the *** on your behalf?) turns out that's a scam - they made a mistake on my taxes we owed an additional $400+ dollars and they refused to cover it. On top of that the so called "Tax Professional" told me she was going on vacation and promised to fix it but nope nothing just keep doing the same thing hoping something changes

  We've had a terrible time trying to get our local office to address our needs. We've paid for their extra services for years and now we need them, no one returns phone calls, no addresses our issues. This place is aweful. They need to address the sale of their extra services and if they intend to not provide them then this could be considered FRAUD! I've ****** a number of times to get them to address some issues over the past 2.5 years. And still nothing. PLEASE take your money elsewhere!!!!! We will never use this company again!
