We replaced ten windows in our house. We were expecting high quality from Renewal by Andersen (RbA) because years ago we purchased two sliding patio doors from them and were very satisfied. Not only do they do a good job sealing out weather and sound, but years later they still slide with just a pinky finger! The windows we just had installed seem to work great and have cut down the noise from our neighbors quite a bit. They are very versatile - opening from the bottom, from the top, and for cleaning. *** helped us design a new front window, with casement windows on the side instead of double hung, which gives us better air flow. The installers were excellent. We had one issue - mismatched paint color on our custom kitchen window. The RbA painter came back out and resolved the issue for us, matching the paint better this time. Their windows are definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

We have had a terrible experience with renewal by Anderson. When they first installed them we could see daylight around the doors and they wouldnt close correctly to the point that we couldnt get out of the front of the house, heaven forbid there was a fire. So we got stuff fixed. Then we had this major storm that just hit ******** so I called them and told them that there was cosmetic damage to the outside side of the doors and was wanting someone to come look at it and give insurance an estimate to fix it and they said they wouldnt do that. I would have to pay for a service call just for them to come out and then they dont work with insurance companies. This company has been horrible from the very beginning, do yourself a favor and just stay away, they only care about their fees and making sure they get their money. So very disappointing. Shame on Anderson.

My question is if you do in house work no middle man but the windows are still overpriced. Usually when there is no middle man or others are manufacturing your products then the cost should be past on the consumer. I didnt see that at first in house consultations.

Renewals by Andersen is a reliable company that offers high quality products and expert installations. We had them replace our basement picture window with two smaller windows on the side a few years ago. They replaced our glass block bathroom window this week. We couldn't be happier with the results. Yes, they're expensive, but they're worth it!

We paid close to $10,000.00 for a black sliding glass screen in patio door by Renewed By Anderson. First we were told in the sales that the door had a life time warranty. Then when our screen was coming looks they said it had a one year warranty. They did fix that issue it was right at one year. Not the black color is coming off the metal and chipping off the door itself. According to my warranty that should be covered still. I have texted and called several times and have been ghosted. I did texted again today (11/05/2024) I first text and calls were done on 09/19/2024 with pictures. At first the the person i spoke said **** would get back with me on when that repair could be completed but then was ghosted. They lady i first spoke was very nice and tried to be helpful.

Salesperson has shown up at my house twice unannounced and uninvited after I cancelled our order. He has called 10+ times. Anyone can cancel any contract without penalty in 3 business days, which is exactly what we dis. Now their employee's behavior is beginning to border on harassment. Unacceptable. So glad that I chose not to do business with them. If you are a woman living alone or with other women and children, be careful using this company, because they will show up at your house and attempt to enter and be extremely difficult to get to leave. Next call will have to be to the police.

Excellent service throughout the entire project from the time we sat down and decided what we wanted done. The company gave ** constant updates on our windows and doors we had 7 windows and 4 doors, 2 French type doors and 2 single walk thru with storm doors. They came in on installation day, looked at each area they were working on and three installer, proceeded to cover the floors and started cutting old windows out, and cleaning as they go. Very impressed with their work and explain how the windows and door worked as the finish it one. My windows and door absolutely, blocked out the exterior noise and you can sure feel the different in the inside temperature of the house..these guys are true professional at there jobs. Afterward the company has called and asked how we felt and what we thought. We are very proud of the upgrade to the house. Thank you Renewal By ********, and we wholeheartedly recommend Renewal By ********, money well spent...

TL;DR: Terrible workmanship, poor communication, lack of understanding of how their own financing plans work. I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is to do business with and that you should avoid them at all costs. My experience was terrible starting with the installation process. I had a great experience with the sales team. I replaced half of the builder's grade windows in my house. Mainly because I couldn't afford to spend 112K to replace them all! Once the installers showed up, they did a terrible job sealing the new windows. They did this install in February, so it was nice and cold outside. I could see the airgaps and feel the cold air flowing in around the windows. The installers said it was good. I had to get the project manager out to see it and force them to fix the issue. Then they put the framing around the windows quickly before I could see if they really fixed the issue or not. Thermal imaging camera shows the hot/cold spots surrounding the windows in the framing. Then when they were finished, the back door wouldn't lock properly. They didn't do a good job on the trim. They should have used a coping saw but instead did a half-a glue together joint job that is mediocre at best. The painters came and didn't sand down any of the trim before painting. They didn't finish the trim by the door on the floor. The used different color of caulking/sealant and a cheap piece of paint grade wood that shouldn't be painted because of the location. This is now 8 months later, and they are still coming out to fix issues. Then, to top it all off, they didn't turn the bill into the finance company in time, so I have to go through the financing portion all over again and will end up with two loans for the same project. So here I am looking at much higher interest rates because they have increased exponentially since I first signed this project a year ago.
