"I had an issue with my brothers CenterPoint Energy bill in Mn, he had passed away and once I sold his place placed an online request to cancel the service as of the closing date. That didn’t happen, the person who bought the home didn’t call until 7 days after closing to start his service and in dealing with CenterPoint via email (many many different emails and I even sent a copy of the closing paperwork showing the date we closed and the new owners information) they wouldn’t change anything and stated I would have to pay the difference." ...
